Physio therapist team very good. Nursing staff could not care a dime.

Physio therapists are good but nursing staff are not adequately trained to deal with stroke patients. My Father had a stroke and every time I get there he is wet especially over weekends. I asked for adult pull up diapers and had to go buy his own at chemist the next morning. It seems that this place is under funded or seriously mismanaged.

My husband was admitted to Intercare rehab after a stroke. Shocking care and uncooperative doctors, personnel, and caregivers. My husband was there for two weeks and I never had a word with the treating doctor. After bringing it to their attention more than once that my husband's condition is deteriorating, they didn't respond and I had to arrange with an external Doctor outside of the clinic to visit him and transfer him to Cape Gate Hospital where he was admitted to the ICU. If I didn't gone to this extent my husband would probably be dead today. I don't even mention the trauma and costs involved.

I have sent an email to management regarding this facility but if you can, avoid at all cost. Especially if your loved ones need palliative care.

Physio team excellent. Nursing staff incompetent and pathetic is an under statement!!!!!!!!!!!!
