We ordered Hake & Chips. Hake was fresh and fried perfectly and the fish was flaky and succulent . The chips were pretty good - just a bit small in size. Lots of free parking and they have a distant view of Table Mountain. The lady that served us was friendly.

Not worth the money spent. The over fried fish(snoek) portion is very small fish texture and taste was almost like it was refried and just over priced

The fishing chips here are very tasty. A little oily. But good. The pricing is a fraction higher than other outlets. There is a nice seating area outside ( first comment from 3 years ago) After 3 years the food has been perfected! Had one of the best plates of ‘slap chips’ in many years. The fish was excellent and chips were WOW. Definitely worth a visit. Now worth the 5 star rating 😁

Absolutely unfriendly person took my husbands order on the phone yesterday. The calamari tasted like rubber husband didn’t even touch it after a few bites. The fish tastes like old oil has been used. This is the third time I’ve had issues with food at this place so I think my review is now justified since we’ve given them benefit of the doubt . We definitely will not be buying from this place again. Stop using old oil.

I have been purchasing their fish for +-13 years, the quality is still intact and I have never been disappointed. I admire the owners professionalism and the staff etiquette.

IF Marina is in the shop it's 4 star, but if she's not there the hake and chips always tastes like a couple of hours old, we changed to a fish and chips shop where the food is cooked while you wait

I normally buy fish from Marinas,but this time I was very disappointed as the fish I bought tasted like it was fried in old oil and the snoek tasted like dried snoek.

Nice and clean place. Ample parking outside. There is seating inside as well as outside. The staff are friendly. Food is lovely
