Service was great and attentive. Such a cute place to sit and work on your laptop.

Very nice place in a modern building, quiet and gives you the business vibe. Big space to move. Very relaxing, great place to talk with a love one and just xxpress yourself and still feel private. I love this place. Staff gives good service and clean your table without your realizing.

Lovely, Calm and friendly space to get a bite, garb a coffee, work remotely or chill with your mates. Not sure how it looks during rush hour, but my experience here was great. The cappuccino I ordered was a little to strong, but the barista fixed it for me while a smile.

Neat and comfy, had a awesome almond milk coffee here. The barista was friendly and had a positive energy. We had two take away coffees but due to awesome environment and great service, we ended up sitting down and enjoying our coffee here. BEST PART IS THAT THEIR MUSIC IS AWESOME, it complemented the art work so well.

An alright experience, great lunch spot and fairly speedy with reliable service. Atmosphere is low key and approachable. Definitely can go back, willing to try out the vast menu

Noisy road ruins atmosphere a bit. But there is a single tint later to provide some privacy. Food was great, I had a cheese and tomato toasty. Their coffee is also really good. Do not buy the white hot chocolate...does not taste good. Better buy their Mocha!

Service was bad - servers barely pay any attention, atmosphere was almost like the staff didn't want you there or want to be there themselves. Omelette was flatter than a pancake and lazy and somehow they managed to mess up how the eggs tasted. Way to much vanilla in the flapjacks too. Overall pretty bad experience especially compared to other bootleggers. Would suggest going anywhere else If you want something worth your money.

We ordered coffee and banana loaf for starters and breakfasts that contained halloumi. They informed us that they had no halloumi and we opted to leave but they gifted us with coffee on the go and banana loaf to take home. Amazing service!

On paper, the experience one should have here should be great, but unfortunately the staff are the biggest let down. Lack of knowledge of coffee making, poor communication and cleanliness, coupled with being slow to action orders and follow up. On a number of occasions, the shop has been open 2 hours later than it should be.

Never have I ever seen such a well run establishment like the Bootleggers situated at Woodstock Quarter. Amazing food, great service and big shoutout to their manager Chad for being on top of his game. Definitely bringing the whole office back for lunch soon.

To sum up my experience in one word... disappointed. I ordered my breakfast at 9.12am. The restaurant wasn't busy and I counted 2 tables that were occupied. By 9.40am I still hadn't received my breakfast. I definitely won't be coming back in a hurry.

Not used to such small portions guys? Usually I love your bagels, however R94 for a tiny bagel which also barely had any cream cheese on it is not worth it. Dry and small.

The place is okay and the staff is trying however I'm not happy with their portions and prices. I got 2 slices of banana bread without peanut butter and it R49. There's a bistro that serves 2 slices of banana bread but their portions are very satisfactory. The guys had the bootEgger- the tomatoes were sour; eggs dry insteas6ofnthe sunny side up they ordered and one got an espresso and not americano

Never been in this restaurant before, we just walked in and I have to say that we are impressed with food, staff and vibe. Yes, prices are bit high but as I can see, portions are good size too. We had peri peri liver, self made omelette and chicken burger, everything was delicious. Music creates good vibe. Staff is very friendly and happy to assist. I have read previous reviews and I don't know and don't judge their reviews and experience, but ours was great and I do definitely recommend.

Went to Cape Town with my person in March, we stayed at Woodstock Quarters and decided to eat breakfast at Bootleggers everyday. I wasn't sure what to order, but the waiter recommended this chicken liver breakfast that was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast any day.

There was hairs in my bowl of chips I requested a fresh bowl of chips.

Not impressed with our first visit here. Ordered two fried eggs and toast, asked for our coffee to arrive with the breakfast which it didn't. By the time the eggs arrived a full 30 min later coffee was cold. Sunnyside up eggs with broken yolks and partially raw albumen. Asked for the latte to be warmed up, came back microwaved boiling hot. Not even an offer to remake it. It's a lovely atmosphere and ambience but unfortunately the quality of service left a bitter taste in our mouths.
