👍👍 We went there today and it was pretty quiet inside the museum. The mask mandate has been lifted however many of the interactive exhibits and movies are still not available. We were told you can watch the movie on the NP website! The museum was still worth going through to read about the civil war... People often mention history,

We went there today and it was pretty quiet inside the museum. The mask mandate has been lifted however many of the interactive exhibits and movies are still not available. We were told you can watch the movie on the NP website! The museum was still worth going through to read about the civil war that took place and other bits of history. You can grab a map for the walking tour and go to 6 different spots. There is a small store where you can buy some park merchandise as well. Staff were super friendly with lots of knowledge!

Such a sobering experience. We visited here on my last day in Murfreesboro, and I’m so glad we were able to stop. I’d never seen a battlefield before, and imagining what these men went through is almost incomprehensible. I didn’t realize there was a gravesite, but it is there after you drive through and go past the visitor center. My friend has lived in this area for years and it was her first trip there, now she plans on taking guests there every time they visit.

We love the NPS, yet again they have done a great job making history come to life. Don't just read about history get out there and be in the moment. Great job NPS. You impress yet again.

Informational and interesting history lesson of the park. Our kids enjoyed walking through; a good selection of exhibits for all ages. The NPS did a good job of delivering the facts of the battle without actually choosing sides. It was clear the Union won the war but there was no conclusion in the exhibit of who won the battle; it was a good way to keep visitors mindful that this is a memorial of all soldiers not just Union or Confederate. Easy access from the interstate. Clean restrooms, and friendly staff.

Amazing place to see history rather than reading about it in a dry history book. I haven't been to Tennessee before this trip but one thing I wanted to do was visit battlefields. They have a 10 minute video about the war & the battle at Stones River. They have a visitor's center crammed with history and a gift shop. Then there are battlefields to walk.

A must see for history buffs. Definitely allow yourself some time to be able to explore the grounds and trails more. The visitor center has alot to see and learn. Don't forget your kids can get a junior ranger badge here as well.

👍👍 Definitely a unique experience! We added this as a stop on our roadtrip. It was fun for our whole family. Prepare to get dirty! We brought some supplies but they do have plenty of rental equipment for your hunt. Someone is on site to help identify your rocks and gems, too. The water play area wasn't...
