Don't waste your time or your hard earned money at this unprofessional establishment. They have no consideration or respect for their patrons time and I would rate them 0 stars if Google gave me the ability to do so. Their communication style is rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. I had two appointments scheduled for 9AM for both of my daughters. We finally decided to leave at 11 AM because neither of them had their hair started after waiting for 2 long hours in an extremely hot salon that lacks any functioning air conditioning. These people intentionally overbook appointments just in case some of them fall through. They had ten people scheduled for 9 AM with only five braiders available. If you value your time and money, and exceptional customer service is important to you then avoid this business at all costs. There are so many other options available for braiding services in the Baltimore area, choose another one and thank me later!!

I got my hair done in what had to suppose had been small Knotless a few months ago. They charge an extra 20 dollars to mix the colors which was fine. My hair did not look like I went to a shop. It looks like someone who just started and had no experience. I went back and told them all my hair looked frizzy and the braids need to be cleaned up. I also express how I was not satisfied with how my hair looked. I would give them a zero star if possible. Don't waste your time or money. I took my hair out two weeks later. It was a waste of my money.

Tried them again bc I need my hair done last minute. Will not be going back. Unnecessarily rough and rude. I did not till at time of payment because I tip cash to EVERYONE who touched my head at the end. The main woman doing my hair then rudely commented in her language saying “tip us tip us” and how I need to get money. She wasn’t even done my hair. My parts are crooked and took way longer than needed. Beware

I got my hair braided end of July on one of the hottest days of summer. This shop is on the second floor and it gets hot! It took 7 hours to get kinky twists. My parts were very crooked. The ladies that got knotless or traditional braids were out much quicker and hair was gorgeous.

I got my hair braided here in the past and everything was great. This time was much different for starters mostly new braiders that seem to need a lot of assistance with parting, price knowledge etc. my braider was extremely slow it took 10 hours for medium knotless. Her customer service was terrible. They need exterminators asap for the endless marching roaches. Two stars for the young lady who ended up finishing my hair she was polite and much faster than the First Lady. Lastly these ladies should be mindful that you are working closely with customers deodorant is a must.

I will not be coming back here for starters I seen the flyer on Instagram that’s said KNOTLESS BRAIDS WAIST LENGTH for $180 dollars I’m like okay not bad I only came because my usual braider canceled….anyway I get there sit in the chair the lady ask me how I want my hair so I showed her the flyer they put on Instagram so she went to go talk to somebody then came back and told me my braids will basically stop at mid back length now any other hair shop they usually give me waist length not mid back length I feel Like I was scammed out of my money not only that they braided my hair mid back length and made my curls extra long and even with the curls my braids still aren’t waist length idk if they don’t know the difference between mid back or waist length but these braids aren’t the same braids from instagram they definitely have multiple people braiding my hair my hair is just a mess honestly I will be taking it out and going downtown to get it redone the right way. My hair is literally more curls then braids.

My first experience was back in September of this year, u went and got knotless medium braids and paid 160 which isn't bad, I went just this past Friday, I made my appointment online for large knotless which was priced at 160. I make my appointment and get there they charge me 200 and my hair looks the exact same when I went back in September. Why have a price list if y'all change the price once the customer is in the chair. My is 3b hair type so it's not like I have super thick coarse hair. Don't think I'll be coming back here at all

I have been to braids Connexion before and most times I’ve had great experiences. In my opinion, it’s best to go to a braider who has more experience, ( you’ll be done faster, cleaner parts , better results). Most recently I got bohemian braids which came out beautiful the first day. But the amount of shedding , I’ve encountered is ridiculous. I personally don’t believe when you ask for human hair, the hair is 100% human hair. It feels like it’s mixed with synthetic. Also the technique that the curly hair is feeded into the braids, increases the shedding… 3/5 stars for last experience

From beginning to end, I had a great experience. I needed my hair braided and my regular person was not available. I needed it to be safe to park. I really didn't want to have to do a deposit up front. I called and they asked me to send a picture. She gave me quote that I was satisfied with. I made the appointment. Then I read the reviews and I got nervous. Usually you may see one or two bad reviews and I could live with that but this has a lot of bad reviews but I noticed that Braid connection addressed them anyway. So I went to the appointment and I am glad I did. Musu did my hair and she did an excellent job. It's been two weeks now and I'm still loving it and it's still looking good. The place had a wonderful atmosphere. I went to the Gwynn Oak salon. I was impressed with all the women there. Everyone was pleasant and hardworking. I will return. Thank you Braid Connection for a wonderful experience.

The shop is very dirty and the employees were arguing with a client. Very unsanitary and overpriced. The shop's employees should do their own hair. They were trying to force me to take a picture, I refused, I wanted to run out of there at that point.
