We’ve been to this club several times, but today our experience was unbelievably horrible. We went to use the restroom when we entered the club, and we exited towards the balcony as soon as we finished and a male employee yelled at us, and screamed saying that if we don’t buy a drink we need to leave. Before we could explain what we were doing, he grabbed me by my arm and threw me out the club. I’m a woman so I was so terrified. He then proceeded to grab my friends by the arm and shove us out the club so violently that my friend got a bruise on her arm. The other employees were telling us to leave while watching him physically assault us. I’ve travelled to so many countries and I haven’t ever seen male employees be so violent with women patrons before. At worst, even if we were causing problems you should call the authorities and not physically assault your patrons. Especially since we’ve been to this club several times before. I’m extremely disappointed, and I warn women from spending your money at this club, because there’s a chance that the male employees will be able to assault you without consequence.

Last Saturday night, my friends and I had a reservation there. I reached a bit late, but my friends were in there. Anyways, the bouncer didn't want to let me in, being disrespectful and kept pushing me and my other friend. I think because of my hair and that he looked on my passport. I kept telling him I'm 26, but he was like 30 and above, which is a rule which was just made to keep us away. Eventually, my friends inside managed to to talk to the manager, and he let us in. Inside the lounge and really near to our table, the bouncer kept pushing us to clear some area. One of the worst nights of my life, and if that's the way they treat customers, I don't recommend anyone to go!

Great service provided by the staff... Ambience was excellent, good music and grown crowd! Midtown is perfect destination for hanging with friends, great collection of the cocktails! Hands down this is the best lounge in Ethiopia!

Grab a cocktail and let your hair down. Midtown is one of the better nightlife spots in town, great setting and atmosphere, enjoyable music. Good customer service. Watch out for the Long Beach and Espresso Martini cocktails.

Although the place is beautiful, the employees are very disrespectful to women. I was yelled at for calling the waitress. He was close to hitting me. It's not only disrespectful but scary for women. It's sad for the management not handle this kind of situation. I rate the place four out five but the service is less than one. Ladies take care!

The whiskey served here is diluted with some cheap stuff. The Black Label bottle we ordered came with a fake seal. Wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for authentic liquor

The deejay on the Friday was great. The place wasn’t as packed as I expected but no worries there. Got 2 beef sliders and fries. They were tasteless. I didn’t even finish them. I think when in Addis just buy traditional food even at the club/bar. The low point of the evening was paying my bills. I’ve been to Addis several times in life and 98% of the time there’s going to be a payment issue with the bills, mostly because of the card machine (PDQ) or a calculation issue. To mitigate for those just carry cash and settle your bills every hour or so. Or after every purchase.

Consistent. They have great days and chill days. But it’s never a waste of time. Most days of week. 2021 update. They got a new manager. And he is on a power trip. Hopefully he will be gone soon. This was my favorite place.

It is a nice lounge with good music, however the prices are outrageous (6000 birr for a bottle of Black Label) 3x the retail price. The staff are rude, and was constantly being pushed by a waitress on the upstairs lounge. When I notified security he told me to "relax". Seeing as though I'm paying outraged prices I expect to be treated better.
