Went with my friend’s dog who’s not normally off lead and she had a great time with mine running about, climbing and sniffing but the favourite by far was the water. Plenty of space to run and chase a ball as well as a great selection of obstacles for them to try out. There’s even a shaded bench so you can sit and relax whilst they play. Definitely worth a visit even if you don’t have a reactive or nervous dog.

Visited Dogwood with my Tamaskan. He is just 1 year old and can be reactive to certain dogs as a young one can with a big attitude and lots of confidence. We booked into the West Field which is more private with no chance of seeing other dogs walking past. He ran in and went straight to the sensory garden and had a good sniff then came running back to check we were still there before running off to explore. There was so much for him to sniff and explore and also have a good run safely. Well recommended, he loved it, obviously we visited around Halloween time, hence the bony arm he found and was running around with before we managed to get it off him :) Amazing place

My dog gets so excited when we arrive at Dogwood. She loves it and we can relax and let her go mad because it’s totally secure, no little gaps for escape artists to squeeze through. There are so many things for dogs to do, jump on, slide down and tire themselves out. We love it and are so grateful to Dogwood for providing a secure playground.

Gambit and I had a really good first visit. When we arrived we met Katie and she was really nice and understanding. Gambit is reactive of people and Katie understood this and let gambit choose whether he wanted to say hello or not. Katie explained everything so well on how the field works, you even get a welcome pack and treats. Every secure field I have been too in the past haven't done this so I thought it was a really nice touch and gesture. The field itself: Omg it is just perfect. It has everything for your dog to explore, Climbing frames, jumps, tunnels, sand pit to dig in, Sensory garden with herbs in like lavender etc for them to sniff. Also a pool for them to dip their legs in on a hot day to cool off. Literally everything you can think of. The fencing is also really secure for all type of dogs. The gate system is also really well thought out and works perfectly.

This is an amazing space to let my reactive dog, Missy, have some safe off lead time. There are plenty of activities there to help keep her busy and engaged, we can't wait to work on mastering the obstacle course! The field is completely secure and is a huge space for the dogs to explore. It's so nice to see her happy and relaxed without having to worry about other dogs turning up and not worry about her disappearing anywhere.

We had our first outing at Dogwood (West field) on 15th Jan 2022 with our rescued greyhound Bella. The arrangements were made online and we were given clear directions and information via email. We were met on the day by Ruben who gave us an excellent information pack and professionally explained how to access the site, the security features and details of all the facilities including picnic bench, fresh water and toilet facilities. Once the introductions were over we were free to make use of the large field and all the various equipment - sand pit for digging, agility course etc. Bella, who is a nervous girl with very poor recall, really enjoyed the scents and running free. The set up is really great and very secure with high mesh fences - it seems very professional run. We are so pleased to find Dogwood and have already booked another session. Highly recommended.

My first day at the Dogwood Adventure Play (East Field) was a lot of fun for my 3 dogs as well as myself! My dogs are highly reactive however the field was extremely big allowing them to run around with the freedom knowing nothing bad will happen as it is extremely secure providing some peace of mind and a stress-free play for my dogs. Dave was extremely welcoming and friendly when introducing us to the field and all of the fun activities for my dogs to do (they didn’t even bark at him much😅). Overall was a really good experience and can gladly say I will be back many more times 😁. I highly recommend going!!!

We brought Barnie for his first visit yesterday, not really knowing what it was all about. After been met by a Dogwood member of staff we were informed of how and what the rules were. We didn't expect such a variety of obstacles in the field, Barnie loved it, sniffing the herbs and went straight in the water pool although it was a bit grassy. Having the field to ourselves without any distractions was great managed to do a bit of training but it was lovely to see Barnie running free not having to watch if he was eating something he shouldn't. All in all will book again a great set up. Thank you.

The boys love their trips to Dogwood Adventure Play, we have been going since they first opened. Exclusive use to either East or West secure field with a field in-between they are perfect for reactive dogs or if you just want to let your dogs run free safely. There are lots of activities to keep them busy and regular new additions. The fields are extremely well maintained and I can't recommend them highly enough 😊

Great place to take your dogs who are maybe scared of other dogs or are have behavioural issues. You basically book one of two fields for 50 mins. The are secure, have water facilities. When I take my dogs, they are so relaxed (probably because I'm relaxed) with no worries as they're the only dogs in for that 50 mins.

We love Dogwood . We have reactive dogs with the potential to escape . Dogwood is very secure and the fields are separated from each other. The fields are constantly updated with areas to stimulate your dog.. Our very scared Romanian rescue loved it here . It was the only place she felt safe to play . Definitely recommend if you want a field that’s been designed for keeping your dog safe and happy.

What an amazing place this is i wish i had booked sooner! Simple and easy booking the most pleasant people i have met in a long time and i did not feel judged for needing a safe space for my dog. I have a GSD/Husky only a year old and he has some anxiety issues that we are helping him with he is a big baby and wants to meet everyone and every dog and is constantly on the go, but is a nightmare when onlead walks and his recall is there but its not the best and alot of people avoid us as he is a big lad but this place gives us both a place to relax and enjoy he can run and sniff to his heart’s content and i can just enjoy time with my dog without having to be on the look out for anyone it has been a relief and its nice to be able to enjoy time with my dog ❤️

Woody and his best pup friend Harvey, and another pup friend Chunk, visited Dogwood East on 2nd September for a perfectly fab 50 minutes of running, rolling, sniffing and exploring. We were so pleased to find a storage bench as soon as we entered the gate where we could store all our pup kit. There are so many incredible features for the dogs to enjoy! Of special interest to Woody our hound was of course the scent garden, but they all snorfled and romped their way through all of the adventure stops. As it was a warmer day, we were particularly delighted by the seemingly bottomless barrel of fresh water available to fill both the bowls provided and the bowls we had brought. We have booked 3 more sessions before the end of the year and are really looking forward to more great pup play adventures at Dogwood!

Amazing place to take my dogs 🐕. They run free without a care in the world. I recommend this experience to one and all dog people. They slept like babies when we got home. We'll be back time and again. A big thank you to Katie and the team 🙏 💙

Love taking my spaniel for a play at dogwood adventure. There’s plenty for him to do. There’s tunnels, jumps, climbing frames and a pool in the sensory garden. Just offers both myself and Monty the freedom to not worry about any other dogs being there as Monty thinks everyone is his friend and won’t always come back when I want him to. So it’s lovely and relaxing. Stress free.

Today was our introduction visit to Dogwood. Dave met us and told us everything we needed to know to use both fields. He was so friendly and we even got a welcome pack! We have used a few secure fields in the 2 years we've had our dog but this is hands down the best by far. It isn't just the size (the field is massive) but Katie has thought of everything for your dog. We all had a fabulous time, playing together and doing all the activities. Dave even met us at the end of the session to check everything was ok, which we thought was a lovely gesture. We travelled from North Tyneside, the distance won't be a barrier to us due these amazing facilities. See you soon Dogwood as we will be back.

Dogwood have the best dog fields in the area. They provide more than just a field. My two dogs love seeing what new scents they can find in the trees, plants, herbs, hay bales, tyres, obstacle courses etc. They can swim if they like in the pools. I love how the fields aren't flat they have gentle rolls to them. It's a little piece of bliss!

Dogwood is definitely not ‘just another field’ we visit a couple of different enclosed fields which are more local and Buzz tends to have a bit of a sniff about and do I dare say it is a bit bored at times. One . On Saturday as soon as Buzz was in the Dogwood field he was off. It felt really different and the interaction between Buzz and the kids was something I’d never seen. Dogwood is just different to other places and the time absolutely flew over. We could practice recall and walking off the lead beside us which we had been practicing at home the week before with no distractions and there was loads to do. Highly recommended

My dog had a great time. This dog adventure play has been well thought out. It has lots in the field & a fantastic section gated off with plants and a paddling pool in. Highly recommended.

We took 3 dogs to Dogwood Adventure Park. They are not let off the lead therefore we thought they would enjoy it. It went beyond all our expectations. The lovely staff were friendly and helpful assuring us of the safety elements such as the locks on the gates. We went to the west field which we chose as it the quieter of the two fields. It was fantastic. Our dogs loved tearing off and playing together and there were activity course such as tyres and wooden structures for them to climb on. There was water provided and poo bins also. I can honestly say I would recommend the Dogwood Adventure Park to anyone. Safe fun for any dog. Thank you.

Very friendly and helpful team. I was so impressed with all the activities that are in the large, secure field. My puppy loved being off lead to explore and zoom about. Definitely going to make a visit here a monthly treat. There is a picnic area available and fresh water and a dog bowl.

Literally just walked back in the house after our first session at Dogwood. Our induction was great, staff are so friendly and the time we spent in there was amazing! So much space and activities for our dogs. It was so nice to let our new puppy off her lead with no worries! Thank you so much, we will be back very soon and will be bringing our families dogs too. Very clean, areas to sit for us too. Just amazing, If I could give 10 stars I would! 😊

Had my introduction today to Dogwood and wow! The website sold it but in person it was so much better. My pup enjoyed being able to explore off the lead at his own pace and it was perfect for recall training. The option of the smaller scent garden for better recall if needed was great. We were made to feel welcome from arriving on site to leaving. We can't wait to book our next session! 🐾

First time visit today, had an introduction with a with a very friendly guy (didn't catch his name). Absolutely brilliant, will definitely be booking more sessions for my 3 boys, they absolutely loved it, lots of room and different areas for them to explore and plenty of exercise, would definitely recommend Dogwood, well done Katie and the team.
