A beautiful old cemetery that has seen a lot and received many tears... The cemetery has existed since 1792 and burials ceased in 1910, but there are tombstones from the Second World War. About 40,000 people are buried there. It is very deserted and is turning into a park, but there are still many well-preserved graves. In this cemetery lie people who did a lot for Rzeszów. The educational path also begins here. I recommend visiting it because you won't see such tombstones in new cemeteries. Eternal rest grant them, O Lord....

A historic cemetery that is increasingly turning into a park. Many tombstones testifying to the city's rich past are works of art. Traces of rifle bullets can be found on some monuments, some marked with pennants of the 1830 and 1863 uprisings.

A very atmospheric place. An old historic cemetery, there are not many such places in Rzeszów. It's worth coming here. On a shady summer day, you can rest for a while in the shade of old trees

A beautiful cemetery - a small monument. The history there dates back to the 18th century, there are many beautiful tombstones and places remembering the November and January Uprisings. It is worth going for a short walk and a moment of reflection. In summer, open until 8 p.m. A unique and diverse old-growth forest. There are plaques on the walls commemorating the inhabitants of Rzeszów, including one of the most famous - Tadeusz Nalepa.

Very mysterious and quiet place. If you walk by, be sure to take a look. I can't say that I saw something incredible here, but the figures and statues are very beautiful.

What a wonderful place, we found it by accident while wandering around Rzeszów and it's WOW. A very atmospheric place with beautiful tombstones, it's hard to leave. In the hot summer it is a perfect place for a walk.

(Translated by Google) The cemetery has a unique atmosphere created by scattered tombstones and old trees. Everything seems to be neglected, left unattended, and yet the trimmed and well-kept greenery creates a unique whole with decaying tombstones. It is a pity that time has been so badly imprinted on the tombstones.

(Translated by Google) A picturesque place worth visiting - a monument to the history of the inhabitants of Rzeszów. (Original) Miejsce malownicze i warte odwiedzenia - pomnik historii mieszkańców Rzeszowa.

It is certainly worth learning about the history of the cemetery itself and the people who are buried there, but its greatest advantage is that it is a bastion of peace and quiet in the center of the provincial city of Rzeszów. Therefore, it is worth visiting even for simple recreational purposes.
