Small tapas bar located on the square. Plenty of seats with umbrellas available. The bar has wide variety of drinks available, including the famous dessert wine Moscatel de Setubal (highly recommended). Unfortunately I did not try the tapas dishes, so I can’t review the food. Card and cash payment available.

Not many choices for vegans had to ask for pasta and beans from the menu to be combined from different dishes to have something edible as a main dish, the chef and staff was kind to make it hence the 3 stars. Hope they have more dishes in future.

Relatively expensive. Quality of food mediocre. What bothered me the most is that the food arrived cold. Staff unprofessional can't answer simple question about menu. Too slow bringing the food we could see was ready.

Inmitten der City von Setubal direkt am Marktplatz, gegenüber des Bürgermeisteramtes befindet sich diese schöne Location. Speziell wer seine Erfahrungen mit dem Getränk "Moscatel" machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Aber blauer Sangria in der legendären 5 Liter Karaffe zum teilen mit seinen besten Freunden ist das non Plus ultra an diesem Ort. Freundliche Leute. Schöne Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen.

Unfortunately this place has become a scam for tourists. Be careful of prices as they can change without warning from one glass of wine to the next. After ordering two of the same thing I was charged nearly double for the second glass. I was told it was the more expensive wine, but I was not asked if that was what I wanted. And for these prices service is incredibly slow. As further proof that it’s a spot set up for tourists, the servers refuse to speak Portuguese with you if you are not native. There are so many better places in Setúbal, this spot just isn’t worth it.

The croquettes made me feel sick, they don’t make them warm. The girl behind the bar was moody, unfriendly. The seating area is great, in the main square. It’s beautiful here. Really, a tourist trap but not too expensive - €7.60 for a cider and 3 disgusting croquettes, could be worse!

The service was very friendly and acceptable towards foreigners. The menu was pretty generic, but the pasta and hamburger tasted quite well. Smoking is allowed, so that was unfortunate due to the smell. It's a pretty simple and bland setup, but the chairs are in the shadows. Music is just the same Spotify piano playlist over and over with ads.

Nice bar and restaurant in a shady and open area. Unique selection of drinks and meals, emphasis on use of the local Moscatel fortified wine. Pleasant atmosphere outside but beware of pigeons and beggars. Had lunch and cocktails here; delicious. Other reviewers have remarked on the use of Spotify (free version) as background music here, it's not acceptable.

Really cute and excellent service... But the food was not great, grissly bits in the pasta and the cuttlefish was inedible. Plenty of other places around with much better food. Coffee/drinks just as good as anywhere else

If you are looking for a nice place for beer,coffee and pastel de nada, Moscatel setubal experience is one the best place. Super chill,nice music great staff and Price-quality!

Lovely views of the main square with outside tables and chairs to watch the world go by. A large range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Food is served here too. Great staff.

Perfect place to sit in Bocage. However a Sagres bottle is 40 cents more than another cafe perfect to sit. Huh

In the middle of a bustling square, this bar/pub meal place does a decent feed and good drinks to everyone. Natives and tourists alike sit and admire Setúbal as they drink coffee, cerveja, or the local "choco frita" in a cozy bar/restaurant.

In my opinion, the quality of the food and experience was not worth the price. The cocktail they make with the passion fruit is not enjoyable as they leave a lot of the seeds in it which can be dangerous if eaten. Also, there was a really bad smell of sewer beside the place and the bathrooms were dirty and not clean. The girl serving us was polite and nice, that’s about all. It would be much better to try the moscatel and eat some place else.

Terrible service, actually non-existent. 2 waitresses that are not on the floor at all, we could have left after finishing our meal they would not know, we’re only at the table to take the order after a 20 minute wait. Good was mediocre at best, not an spot to eat, ok for drinks

Good place clean service but little expensive for us(tourists) but other things is good, small food are delicious.

Really slow service spoiled this for us. Took over 2 hours for a salad and a main dish.

Didn’t take pictures, because we were too hungry. Tried pasta, rice with fish and their ice cream - everything was very tasty!

SHOCKING!! we never experienced such a rude waitress in all our lives last night. She looked like she just didn't want to be there and couldn't care less about the customers. We ordered the rice & bacalhau. The rice was undercooked and chewy. The white wine was warm. The toilets were filthy. This place is clearly having problems. Needless to say, we left the food and ended up having a McDonalds. It's a shame as the location is beautiful

The service is so bad that it ruins the whole experience. Staff is unprofessional aswell as rude. I told the waitress several times we were ready to order and all I got during those roughly 40minutes were literal laughs. Never in the restaurant field I had waiters mocking me. I had other experiences there and none of them compared with this last one, very unpleasant. Besides this point, the food and the decor of the place is good.

Some people live this place, some don't. For us, it's the go to spot for meeting up with friends (great Sangria!)

Nice cafe, had the soup of the day and some delicious brown bread. Highly recommend.
