Very calm and beautiful place. This Quinta is a part of a huge space with 80km of trails. The Quinta itself has lot's of different areas: for trails, for picknick, areas with golds, horses, donkeys, vegetable fields, forest, lake etc. There are parking places. Even if you see many cars don't think that you will see many people inside. The territory is so big, that you don't meet many people on your way. There are toilets and a place where you can buy local tasty honey. And on the weekends there is a place with tasty burgers!

A magical place. Modern visitor centre with nice and helpful staff. We did the easy 4km walk around the farm on a cloudy/rainy day and it was lovely. The parts we enjoyed most were the stable with horse and donkeys, the large vegetables garden and the farm animals in the wide open spaces. The landscapes are beautiful!

Amazing place to go with your childrens. You can see some animals (horses, chickens, donkeys, goat). You can do a picnic with an amazing view. And you can buy some vegetables and bread :D

Well managed outdoor complex with a nice (and easy) walking trail. Recommended for a slow walk or easy bike ride. Some animals can be spotted through the trail, though not as many as there used to be, so it seems. Map and directions are found throughout the trail. Easy to access with any car, plus it has a huge & free parking space. The trail starts and ends at the same place & it took us about an 1.5-2hrs with some stops.

This place is one of my frequent hikes. It is very spacious therefore provides a good view of the Sintra mountain, Penha Longa, the sea and the skyline. The stables and farm animals make it rustic. Sometimes you hear the donkeys, which are very funny. My last trip was on an extremely chilly windy day. It turned out not as windy as I expected. They have cut down the giant eucalyptus tree by the road. I really miss them, though I am getting used to the open but beautiful view of the farm from the road. Some of the trails are being developed on the north foot of the hill. They will provide more choices of route for frequent hikers.

The walk was quite short. The vegetable garden was closed and we didn’t see any animals except the horse in the stall.

Great for an outdoor weekend with family. Kids loved picking organic vegetable at the farm. Great for hiking and biking.

The staff at the main space have become extremely unfriendly and make you feel unwelcome. The rest of the staff at the vegetable farm are lovely!

Please help! My son left his black BTWINN balance bike in the dirt parking lot of Quinta do Pisão this afternoon around 1pm. If anyone finds it, please reply to this post!

Fantastic place to visit. The scenery is incredible. There are varying walks for all abilities. They also offer the option to rent e-bikes and normal bikes as well for a reasonable price. We saw goats, sheep, donkeys and horses. The staff were lovely and the gift shop was very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit, and can be enjoyed in any weather! You can even take your pooch if they are kept on a lead.

Beautiful scenery, quiet and great for some meditation time. Please respect that whenever you decide to visit. The farm, "Horta do Pisão" has some very delicious veggies for a really bargain price, completely clean of any chemical products, and must add, the staff is very welcoming, specially Isabelle, she will welcome you and your kids in a really caring way. Thank you for the learning experience.

Nice walking path to enjoy with family and friends. You can get to see horses and sheep. They should have better signboards about routes as you can easily miss which way to exit out of the area.

You can visit it for free. The space is very well kept and you can see donkeys. There are also options to buy snacks and drinks (although they are not very cheap)
