Perfect and hidden in the middle of the city. Place for kids to play and grown ups to do a picnic. Only down side is having a very large slope

A nice surprise at the bottom of the park (unless you’ve been taking a peak on Google Maps before arriving). I’m no expert on mazes… but I feel this is a solid 4 stars because: (+) Aspect: It’s got some pretty cracking views East and South. (+) Vibe: Atmospheric and historic gardens and far from overcrowded (allowing a sprint finish) (-) Hedge quality: The hedge height is perfect for a tall-ish adult to absolutely trounce a child/anyone under 5ft… however there are quite a few gaps that one could reasonably argue aren’t QUITE cheating that it was hard to resist… it very much hollowed out the victory (-) A-Maze-ment: As the only official maze in Porto (that I am aware of), it’ll certainly scratch your maze itch… but for a more advanced challenge, just hit the streets of the old town. Still struggle to get my bearings.

It´s nice to spend some time around this quite and not super touristic destination in town.
