I happened upon Orpheu Porto on one of my random walks, and, drawn in, I loved every moment! The team was great, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was truly welcoming. The drinks and food, while plenty to choose from on the menu, all seemed delicious; and what I selected: delicious in real life! Thank you to everyone at Orpheu Porto for the wonderful experience! This quaint spot is worth every moment of your time and I give it a huge recommendation if you're in Porto!

Very nice place! Strongly recommended! Had brunch here two days in a row already! Great food, cozy atmosphere, price is fair, and very considerate and helpful service! I’m happy to have found this place and definitely will go back! Strongly recommend their “pot” dish, scrambled egg, marinated shrimps! Drinks are also quite nice!

the place is so so cute and the service was amazing! the attention to detail by the staff (Bruna and Javier) was truly appreciated and makes the place that much better. we ordered a drink each and a few dishes but felt the food we ordered was just okay - nothing really special about it. would come back for the service and atmosphere though! great staff

A wonderful find. We stumbled across this place and are so glad we did. Small and homely restaurant run by Andre and his family. Beautiful outdoor seating with a great view along the street and absolutely fantastic selection of expertly crafted cocktails and an extensive range of tapas choices to suit any palate. We accompanied our meal with the sparkling apple and cinnamon sangria- so delicious! A great place for dinner with friends or a romantic dinner for 2. Would recommend coming in early sunset to enjoy the view and sit outside and soak up the ambience- we did have to queue for approximately 20 minutes- but well worth the wait! Thank you Andre and team!

This place was very close to the apartment I stayed and I always saw people. Went to try and I wasn't disappointed. Prices are good. I had brunch here, I tried the salmon toast and it was super. Also the passion fruit tea was very good. I didn't like the cappuccino so much though.

Amazing cocktails and really reasonable prices. The bramble and passion port cocktails were 10/10 and they gave us free olives too. Window seat is great for people watching.

We went here three times while in Porto. This restaurant has great atmosphere, staff, and food. However, the cocktails are the best I’ve ever had. Each visit was a great experience.

Incredible quality produce with delicious combinations and tasty wines to accompany. We enjoyed a couple of meat platters, an incredible camenbert with Portuguese wine and port. Generous portions and lovely warm service.

Without a doubt, one of our favorite meals in Porto! We loved every moment: from the creative plates, to the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. We wanted to try everything, and will make sure this is the first stop on our next trip to the city. Try the bruschetta with ricotta, pumpkin jam and walnuts and the Orpheu spritz and enjoy a lazy weekend (or weekday) afternoon!

Absolutely amazing place to go and eat! All food is served in small portions (perfect to share for 2) and quite cheap. The waiter was very nice and always up for a small talk or a joke. The cocktail are very good and very cheap. The location is in a small, quite and cozy street in Porto. I 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto.

Great food and drinks! We ordered two bruschetta, the melted cheese, and one of the miscellaneous patties + one drink each. I thought we might have under ordered but we ended up stuffed. The melted cheese portion is HUGE!

As a vegetarian, there were soooo many vegetarian tapas options here compared to most tapas restaurants we’ve visited in Portugal! (There are also many meat/fish options for those who eat those). The service was also fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely evening here to enjoy some of the good tapas and outstanding sangria's. Especially the latter I would recommend. Seating area outside is on a stairs with wonderful view, indoor you can expect coziness. We had a bit of a wait, before and after we had a table, but def worth it.

Best Place in Porto! We enjoyed a lunch snack with a pitcher of lemonade and absolutely loved it. The staff is exceptional - I have never met people as friendly as here! The look of the food was awesome - and the taste even better. When in Porto, it is a must to go here! But bring some time, since it is always crowded and not many seats are available. We loved it! Thank you so much!!

Oh my goodness, this place was incredible. The most delicious food, amazing drinks and the friendliest staff. We visited for an early dinner at about 6pm and were the only ones there - 15 minutes later there were two other tables and by 7pm it was full. It's quite small, so I'd recommend getting there early. Between two of us we had the olives, the camembert, the hummus trilogy, and the beef carpaccio. There was a really good number of veggie options. They also had a brilliant selection of mocktails and cocktails which looked and tasted amazing. Staff were so friendly, checking that everything was good and offering more bread and nachos. Honestly can't praise this place enough, you absolutely must visit. Great location close to the river - would recommend an early dinner here before watching the sun set over the river. It was the most expensive place we ate at in Porto (we paid €60 including a tip) but also the best by far and the price was completely justified by the quality of the food and drink, the location and the lovely staff.

Such a fantastic place! The service from the moment we arrived was impeccable, and continued throughout our visit. The cocktails were fab - perfectly presented and just the right size. The taste really complements the food on offer. We shared 3 dishes between the 2 of us, and were pleased to be offered complimentary top ups of bread and nachos throughout the meal. Our unexpected favourite was the Orpheu pot - our favourite dish, in fact, from all of our meals in Porto! If you’re at a loss to where to eat out whilst visiting this beautiful city, make an effort to come here and you won’t be disappointed. It’s great value for money, too, and you can check out their menu beforehand on their website. I will be back next time I’m lucky enough to be around! Thanks all :)

This small restaurant was a great place to get a bite. We stopped by twice during our week in Porto. Very friendly staff, delicious food, generous portions and good drinks. It is a very small place, and up a small side-street but well worth the visit.

Very nice bar to get some nice cocktails and tapas. The cheese and meat board was well explained by the waitress. I would recommend the passion mule cocktail if you like rum with some passion fruit. I recommend this place for a late afternoon/evening drink accompanied by tapas.

Came back a couple of times. Be sure to try the Christmas drink and the traditional Portuguese cake-‘like a tasty Oh Henry bar. Sooooo good. Be sure to watch the bartender in action - master of style!

The meat & cheese board was incredible. Beautifully presented and delicious. Staff was super friendly. This won't be a quick visit, but the wait is worth it!

Cute little place in Porto Portugal. Tapas, my favorite way to eat. We had some really nice mocktails (as we had toured the Duoro Valley that day), Olives, bread, a trio of hummus with salad, Goat Cheese with fig jam. All delicious and what we were looking for after a day of wine and port tasting and a big lunch. Perfect!

I can't rate this restaurant highly enough. We went on a Friday evening and, I guess it had gone in our favor that it had been raining all day, because we didn't need to wait long for a table. I believe they can sometimes be a bit of a wait for a table, however, I can assure you it would definitely be worth the wait. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had a seat inside where they promptly took pur order. We ordered the "board", and it was absolutely stunning the waiter talked us through everything that was included and gave us some information about all the cheese and meat on the platter. We were given bread alongside and offered more once we had run out. The picture speaks for itself but this was insanely good. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, we had a hard time deciding which ones to get as there are so many to choose from. The waiters were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us, this place is incredibly special and I would recommend everybody tries it at least once!

Sat outside on a Fri afternoon & had an enjoyable bottle of wine & a few tapas (mussels, shrimp, cockles patty, bruschetta). Everything was delicious, they were very welcoming of diners ordering more bread, & service was good. Also very cutely decorated indoors :)

Amazing little spot and one of my favorite meals in Porto! You can tell they put their heart and soul into this business and people flock here all hours of the day. The Orpheau eggs were so good that we ordered them TWICE!

Absolutely divine - I can not rave about this place enough. Me and 2 friends shared the charcuterie board and honey Camembert walnut dish and it was delicious. The atmosphere, staff and food were all wonderful and especially welcoming . I would definitely recommend this place as a must for anyone visiting Porto.

Tapas and cocktails were delicious. Best meal of our stay. Great vegetarian and vegan options. The orpheu pot was my favourite, closely followed by the trilogy of ( homemade) hummus. Port cocktails expertly made and so lovely. Fantastic vibe, staff super friendly. Definitely a must-visit.
