This a good place to visit with your family as here you can see various idols and images of the period of Lord Rama's exile during the Ramayana. It isn't the place where it all took place actually, but here it is shown beautifully. In Panchvati, there's a small "Picnic Point" (cafe) where you can have a light lunch. Coming here in Summer is not recommended as it's very hot and dry as-well-as less enjoyble during Summers.

Panchvati is a major tourist draw in Pilani. It is built and managed by the Birla Trust in Pilani. According to Ramayana, Panchvati was the place where Ram went to live during his vanvas or exile. Panchvati in Pilani is a place which tries to recreate the different episodes of Ram's life. It is situated in a large green area, which has a number of trees, shrubs and bushes giving the feeling of being in a forest. The area has thousands of aloe vera plants, mud passages and pagdandis. In the middle of the greenery, life-sized figures of Ram, Laxman, Sita, Hanuman and other characters of Ramayana have been placed. The figures are attempts to narrate and recreate various events of the holy scripture of Ramayana. The place takes one back into the ancient and mythological world and gives an impression that one is in the actual Panchvati forest where Lord Ram lived. The tourists coming to Pilani should visit Panchvati for the enjoyable experience it offers to the visitors.

Panchvati required immediate attention for survive. Most of the thing available about to die. Deer also required special attention. There is lot of opportunities to devlopment of tourism. Visited by lot of school and college tour as well as local public. Full space available.

A very good place developed by the Birlas offering a small area of nature with artificial scenes, statues of characters from the Ramayana and a few live deer. The park remains open from 9 am to 5 pm and provides facilities of public convenience. The park deserves the attraction of the public.

It's a nini zoo where you can hang out and enjoy some peace. It's a really great place to go with your family or alone. You will also find a big statue of shiv jii. Overall you'll enjoy the company of animals and greenery around here.

This is one of the most famous tourist place in Pilani, Rajasthan. It used to be a very beautiful place but these days it is in poor state without any maintenance. The trash is spilled all over and plants are not being watered.

  • 3/5 Diku C. 1 year ago on Google
Here the management is not right, there is no cleanliness, there is no one to guide the tourist, the animals that used to be there are also over, there is a need for a lot of improvement.
