We opted for Srikara Hospitals – Secunderabad, after hearing about the various success stories on knee replacement surgeries by Dr Akhil Dadi. But after the experience of how they treat the patients referred by Railways, we deeply regret the decision to opt for Srikara. First, we were told that Dr Akhil Dadi won’t be consulting patients from Railways nor will operate them under SCR/CGHS cases at the reception itself. We had to insist and got his appointment only after waiting for more than 1hour. Our consultation ended with a complaint on reception staff and they being scolded by Dr Akhil in front of us (drama of sorts) and a reluctant commitment from Dr Akhil that he would be operating on my mother. After the consultation, the real marketing starts with his PA Mr Harish. You'll be shown various brands in terms of low, budget, premium ranges of implants (chromium cobalt-low & high flexibility, oxynium & gold knee) with different price ranges and exploiting your emotions. After deciding the "CORRECT (financially suitable)" option, we were given options for payment too......bill and no bill (i.e, cash payments)........after bargaining, we opted for the cash payment (oxynium implant with robotic procedure -75k per knee) in excess of the package as per the Railway scheme. On the day of operation, we were informed Dr Akhil Dadi would be talking to us regarding the operation but we had to wait for 4 hrs (from 6AM till 10AM) to be operated and was not even informed the status of operation till the cash was handed over. After that within 5 mins she was shifted from 3rd floor to OT on the 5th floor. We insisted on meeting Dr Akhil Dadi for a conversation before my mother was shifted to OT. My father met him near OT door to take care of my mother and was completely surprised when Dr Akhil refused to operate as decided and sticking to the railway scheme adamantly (all this in front his trusted fellow Mr Harish). It seemed as if he was either not communicated about the payment or he was not happy with the amount. We couldn’t believe if it’s happening for real or it’s a movie scene, where the operating doctor talks about the package before going for an operation? What confidence will the Patient or the Patient’s attendants have when the doctor is upset right before the procedure? With these doubts in mind we insisted that Dr Akhil assure that he’s going to operate on my mother as agreed earlier, which he refused to do in person and suggested to cancel the operation. With no assurance and options left, in view of my mother's health & safety, we had to cancel the operation and discharge my mother from the hospital. I would have given zero-star rating but as there is no option for even half star I have to give one star very reluctantly. This was our most recent (on 16/11/19) personal experience with the most talented Dr Akhil Dadi & Team @ Srikara Hospital, Secunderabad, very famous for Total Knee Replacement surgeries in Hyderabad. UPDATE: After the experience @ Srikara, we were fortunate to be supported by our Rly Doctor and kindly referred mother to KIMS (Dr. Uday Krishna) on 19/11/19. We immediately admitted her to KIMS on the same day, where it was decided to operate on 20/11/19. Dr Uday Krishna reassured my mother that he would take care of her as his own family member before shifting her to the OT. He talked to us and ensured oxynium implant along with his team (Dr Rohit, Dr Ravneesh & Nursing Staff) were very professional in their patent care before operation and after. After the operation, we were shown the photos and videos of the implant to clear any little doubts left in our minds.......after 24 hours observation in ICU, she was shifted to room on 21/11/19. After 3 days on observation, she was discharged from KIMS without anymore complications (infection, fever etc.,) on 25/11/19. With this experience , we're all glad that everything went well in a smooth manner and hope my mother has a full recovery soon. (BTW, the amount paid at KIMS was only 1/3rd of the amount agreed at Srikara).

It's very awesome service and a good experience. Very humble nurse and sisters. In time u will get your service as per management schedule. Food from the hospital canteen with good packing to only patients. As per nutrition patients will be served egg white, tomato soup, chapati, dal, roti, veg fry, butter milk etc. Rooms are big and full space with diah tv connect and AC. In time the nurse and sister will come and do their jobs as instructed. Also the washroom cleaners will come and do their duties. The main important thing I like is that doctors will listen with patience and also respond in a very good and clear way. I think every patient is well and satisfied with the service. It's a little bit expensive and i think it's affordable and it depends on the case. OP care was very good when we entered as an emergency. I feel good in service and talking about doctors and interactions with them. The only thing I didn't like is aayas every time keep on asking you for tips. If you clean the room, lift guys, shifting from icu to room for every movement they will ask you for tips. Rest all very good in taking care of patients and services.

My Experience with Srikara Hospitals is like getting treatment from a Government hospital even after paying lacs. Doctors : Doctors are very good and experts in their area, Akhil sir , whatever time he spends (2-3 mins)time with patient is Good. Hospital Management : is the worst , they treat like you are getting free service ,Especially Dr Akil's PA Sandhya, she feels like she is the doctor , Not sure she is also the owner of the hospital , but her way she treats patients is like that . Billing Dept : this is another kind of Govt department ,they will work only after multiple follow-ups , even after paying 70K cash without bills and they got 100% approval for the bills they submitted for insurance. still they demand for 1-2 K . PR Dept: the person in PR dept never came in contact during pre-post hospitalization ,just 5 mins before discharge he comes and ask for feedback and ask for 5Strar rating, not sure if this what he is paid for. Summary : if you have any direct contact with Doctors then go for it , if you go directly ,you end up paying more than others. it is fully commercial and worst hospital management .

They won't respond until we call them multiple times and not even remember what medicine they are giving to which patients. Worst thing is the food the canteen people provide to patients. I have been visiting a hospital recognized by TS Government for followup treatment of Cardiac Disease and have been regularly getting Medical Reimbursement. Since Srikara Hospital, Secunderabad also has Good cardiologist, I have visited this hospital for the same. I was very happy with the consultation services of the Cardiologist. But, when I have approached the Billing I/c for necessary certificates for Medical Reimbursement, he told that the medicines are not purchased from their pharmacy and hence no certificates can be given for reimbursement ! Management is requested to look into this matter and take necessary action.

Easily one of the best hospitals for knee replacement surgery's. While the specialist (Dr. Akhil Dadi) is quite good at what he does....the staff there is what makes times smoother for patients. Extremely dedicated and well natured...they tend to the smallest of your needs and make sure the patient is comfortable and well taken care off. My mother was admitted there for a full 8 days for a TKR surgery of both knees and they looked after her with complete conviction. Would recommend them to everyone. Much better in terms of response and seriousness when compared to Sunshine or Appollo.

Worst experience, service pathetic, false commitment. First pay consultation fees then again pay for X-ray. Once amount paid you need to wait for hours for just a doctor's consultation as because after paying the amount we cannot ignore nor skip the consultation. We came for consultation with some reference but had bitter experience. They sound better as collection agents rather than treatment being priority. Money 💰 Money Money only speaks nothing else matters

Visited the hospital for my leg. The hospital has 2 blocks. I came to the second block for Orthopedic here the hospital staff aren't wearing they mask. No hygiene is maintained in hospital. But doctor srinivas reddy is good explained me in a good way. I hope the hospital tries to keep hygiene methods and keep they educate they staff

My mother has undergone knee replacement surgery at the hospital. Dr. Akhil Dadi has performed the surgery. He is a doctor par excellence and his expertise in the field is well known. On consultation he advised for surgery right away. Previously also we had consulted him for surgical procedures for other family members. Thanks to Sir and his team of supporting staff at hospital everything went off well. The nurses, physiotherapists, nursing assistants and other staff have been very amicable, attending and responsive and made our stay at the hospital a little less painful. Personally I would like to add that knee replacement surgery allows an elderly person to stand on his/her feet and boosts their confidence to face the challenges of life.

Worst management and they are here to earn money not to serve the people..I strongly not recommend this hospital. Even they will discharge based on the sisters decision also ...while discharging no doctor will come and ask about the patient health conditions..once you pay the money they just say get lost..don't even care about your health once billing is finalized..instead of coming to this hospital..better go to some small hospital near by ur home..it saves a lot of money and your mental tension with staff..

Dr. Akhil Dadi is one of the best if not The Best in total knee replacement surgeries in India. Akhil sir did total knee replacement surgery for my dad with impeccable accuracy. As part of the preparation for surgery every aspect of my father's health was checked and Cardiologist, Neurologist, Anaesthesist talked to us personally and gave us advise. Dr Komal mam and Dr Patel sir have great knowledge and they took great care in suggesting the way forward. The medical care is affordable and accessible to people from all sections of society and further patients who have insurance can avail full benefits. Excellent service by Dr.Praveen Reddy garu, My mother's surgery completed on 23.11.2021 by Dr.Praveen Reddy for implant removal and knee replacement, The surgery took around 3.Hrs 30 Mins, but he took care of the surgery with a smile. and Praveen Reddy sir assistant Swapna Madam took care of pre and post surgery formalities personally. post surgery also he took care of everything and most importantly he charged with nominal fees. My Aunt was suffering with acute knee pain of both legs since few months. After due consultation and clinical findings Dr. Akhil Dadi prescribed left knee replacement first. She was admitted in Srikara Hospital, Secunderabad and surgery was done by Dr. Akhil Dadi. Post operative treatment is going on. As of now patient is quite normal. Would like to mention my personal experience at this Hospital: An excellent co-ordination and hospitality rather caring across the departments. Absolutely no fear of unwanted and sudden surprise to attendant on new requirements or tests to be conducted on patient. Dr. Akhil will be our Doctor for Ortho. G S Rao

My father went though total knee replacement surgery. The hospital was prompt and the process were explained clearly. The hospital staff was courteous and canteen facilities were available (plz Don't expect resturant kind of food. The taste was ok). All in all the experience was good. One area of improvement is the insurance structure. This could be improved as some of the charges were excluded out of package. --------------------- Update:- 31st Dec 21. My father got his surgery done on 15th Dec 21. We left the hospital on 18th Dec. His vitals were ok andnin control while we left the hospital. However, I have lost my father to cardiac arrest on 19th Dec 21. I am not sure if this is because of the surgery but atleast his heart might have been impacted because of the powerful medicines/anesthesia he was given during and post the surgery. I do not have the medical expertise to say whether surgery is the main cause or if the post operative care is not upto the mark, but surely the possibility of cardiac arrest after surgey and loosing life was not informed to us before the procedure

We have come for my father's thigh joint sugery and the doctors have taken really good care. The staff was also very supportive, they interact with us and help us maintain our calm.

Everything is fine, but there's no proper washroom for the visitors, six floor building but gave two just toilets for men and women which is not maintained properly, request to provide one washroom for two floors atleast. Thank you.

Because of this hospital I may have lost my father He is suffering from liver problem and his condition was serious we got admitted in srikara, doctors told that he will be fine and started medication but his condition was not improving and deteriorating after 1 week they used to discharge and after 2 days of discharge we had to admit him again Because the health was not improving and this continued for one and half month till my dad was in very serious condition. Then they told us to shift to other hospital so that their hospital reputation don't get effected and I get to know that there was no gastroenterology specialist in that branch and internal medicine doctor was treating my father. Then we went to other hospital and by god's grace and because of good specialist my father is alive and his health is improved

Even one star is too much for this hospital. We went to Dr.B.Abhishek as my dad suffered from shoulder pain. We showed the Dr our MRI. He didn’t even check the films. He just read the report for 8 sec and right away suggested for surgery. He tried to scare us by saying that the surgery has to be done immediately. He didn’t even check my dad’s hand movements. We then met many other Drs and came to know that surgery isn’t needed considering the movement of the hand.We were told by other Drs that exercise could probably help. They said that going for surgery is too early at this stage. Bottom line : He is very very very money minded. Don’t trust him. Better avoid consulting him. I lost my peace of mind after meeting him. I felt like my dad has got into some very serious trouble. This is how he made us feel. Very bad !!
