The service is a bit lacking when it is a little busier. Food can come to the guests at different times, drinks might be forgotten... The food itself is OK, I guess. Although, as the restaurant is supposed to be an Italian place, having a long list of pizzas, it is somewhat baffling that the first pizza on the list is some sort of strange texmex take on a ham pizza with salsa sauce added for who knows why. Basically, it is just ruining the pizza. Sure, it is stated that the pizza has the salsa on it and I could have chosen something else, but I kind of did not think about it until it was in front of me. I was hungry, I finished it, but I still do not understand what the salsa was supposed to add to the pizza. And the grilled salmon was partially charred. Not great. Sitting outside is quite nice, although the sound system is ridiculous. Basically, only one low level small speaker was working, giving off a flat tin-like sound (think speakers of 90s PC computers). All in all, it was fine(ish), but considering all the other options you can find in a 100m radius, I really do not know why you should choose this place.

The terrace area was nice. Fries and sauce were tasty. Sadly the steak was overcooked and very chewy.

I had the pan pizza Oro Spear and my fiance had the pan Castello. The pictures don't do them justice. They were packed with maybe 1.5" worth of flavorful toppings, gooey cheese, crispy crust, and absolutely delicious!! The server was also super nice. Beautiful atmosphere and view of the church across the street. Highly recommend!

While staying in Kuressaare, I ate at Castello 3 evenings in a row. Every meal was absolutely incredible. Their beef liver with red wine was possibly the greatest dining experience I've ever had. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was lovely. If you happen to dine here, be sure to treat yourself to their wonderful raspberry desert!

Very empty, quick service but then forgot about the deserts in the end. Good pizza and kitchen give food very quickly. Specially recommend fish soup very good. There is a lot of choosing for pizza but only few main dishes like duck, schnitzel and fish or some salads. Never the less it’s a quick eat with ok price and good quality. So in the end nice place.

The service was nice and friendly, place was cosy, food was OK but really nothing specal. Duck was overcoocked as well as chicken in caesar salad. Meat and fish platter was all good, as well as pizza.

We really loved the restaurant and enjoyed the food. Fish and meat plate and duck as main dish were the best ❤️ This place appeared so much better than overrated “la perla”.

Cozy charming terrace, tasty menu, reasonable prices. But, small remark. Please train your staff, that dishes must be brought to all the guests at the table at the same time. Not like pasta for 1 guest and then pizza for another after 10 minutes. Other than that all was fine

Location is very close to the city centre. Delicious food and good service. There are lovely summer terrace with fountain in the backyard. We ate pasta with chanterelle mushrooms and cream. It tasted good.

Castello restaurant offers a good dining experience with delicious food and attentive service. The beetroot pizza was an unique experience. twist. The crust was perfectly crispy and the toppings were generously spread across the pizza. The combination of the earthy beetroot and the creamy goat cheese created a delightful balance of flavors. The prosciutto tasted like your average ham and cheese pizza, lacking the unique and distinct flavor that one would expect from prosciutto. The crust, however, was cooked to perfection with a nice crispness that added a pleasant texture to the overall experience. They could benefit from a cozier atmosphere. The seating arrangement could be improved to offer more privacy

Hyvää pizzaa ja kaunis terassi, jossa pysyi lämpimänä tuulisellakin säällä seinien ja vilttien ansiosta. Lämmityslamppu olisi ollut myös mahdollinen. Saatiin suht samaan aikaan ruuat vaikka meitä oli iso porukka.
