What a beautiful place! I arrived at 8:30am and the water was super still and the smell of the nature was so fresh. Breathtaking experience. My family enjoyed this place very much. Inexpensive and the staff is super friendly. I recommend this place.

I love this place. I actually jumped from the waterfall. Beautiful turquoise waters. On the colder side. You must watch out for the entrance as the sign is very easy to miss and has been worn out by the rain. It is a dirt entrance and road. I would suggest having a good car as the entrance is on a steep rocky hill. Hit full speed to go up or you will get stuck. After you get to the entrance the fee is $100 Dominican Pesos per person. The walk down to the falls is also very steep and rocky. Coming up is a minor hike but tiresome none the less. The stairs, to call it that are very steep. When you reach the fall sitting space is very limited and there are many MANY rocks. There is a small area in which the water is not deep. Suitable for kids and those who can't swim. There is a rope that is available from time to time to help navigate the deep end but people often drown the rope so its not always there. The deep end however (roughly 75% of the falls) is VERY deep. I would only recommend for good swimmers. I love it. Its a beautiful serene place to relax and have a good swim!

Whoa was super dope! I didn't get in the water wish I would've it was a very hot day. But I had a blast! Make sure you have good walking shoes maybe plan to have slip resistant as there are some slick spots. Also light foldable chairs is a good idea and a good cooler with wheels because from parking to the site is a pretty good distance of a walk

For those who have not enjoyed this natural beauty, I recommend it! but I inform you so that there are no surprises... entrance fee is $3 per person and $3 for parking. The route to the river is a bit difficult for those who are not used to walking or pregnant women. otherwise perfect!

We have driven by this spot a dozen times and finally stopped to check it out. Right off the highway, relatively easy 5 minute walk to the falls. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as the climb is steep. Clean, cool water. We came while it was raining and it was virtually empty, like a private oasis. Definitely worth checking out.

Well worth the stop when heading north from Santo Domingo. The area was clean and no garbage around. Be careful on the path leading to the falls, as it can be slippery even with hiking shoes on.

Very nice waterfall just off highway. Good way to break up a drive and go for a swim. The waterfall is about 3 minutes off highway on a somewhat rough dirt road (my small rental car was fine) then a 5 minute walk down to falls. Entrance is 100 pesos per person and that means there is secure parking, which I liked because I had all my luggage in car. We were only visitor there at 11-12 noon. Nice place to swim.

The river is nice, the problem is the people in charge, they need to improve the stairs we have to use to go down and the whole place,it's no safe for kids, its stone all over the place and you can feel easily, as I say the river es beautiful 😉 😀

Epic waterfall! The water is perfectly blue and clear. So swimmable. Very short half hour walk to the waterfall, mostly downhill with some steps. Easy to access the waterfall itself from the pool. Met some cool Estonians here, but that’s besides the point. One of many beautiful waterfalls on the island of Dominican Republic, and a must see for anyone passing through the area! Instagram @nukeyhov

Good place for christian catholic people. There were not sufficient WC provided. Because of this, the people needed to wait too much to do their personal needs. In addition, as there were not so many WC for the people, these WC were not as hygienic as expected.

The water is amazing and everything . The walk down and up is tough but it’s definitely an experience(they have a taxi that takes you down and up for $50pesos each person). I will definitely go again. A lot of people on weekends

Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! Very cold because it is legit a hole and the walk down and up are steep and tough but nonetheless it was worth the trek.

It's a nice hike to the falls but the water is great. Pack light though!!

Good place for a dip on warm day. Since you have to pay an entrance fee they could at least clean the disgusting toilets and maintain the hand rails on the path to the waterfall.
