It is a small garden well tended and with a collection of trees coming from an unexpected place (an old neighborhood's slum that is long gone). Lots of family activities are done in this garden by our municipality.

What to say about the Almeida Garret Garden? What a great place to relax, bring the kids to play around, take in some much needed vitamin D, and even exercise. The Almeida Garret Gardens feature a well taken care of grass area, a children's playground, a small bar/cafeteria, a covered area to protect you from the rain or strong UV rays, as well as a nice fountain to relax to the sound of the water. I highly recommend it.
