Check in and out was not good. Super tight and disorganized area, with the concierge taking up half the space and seemingly doing nothing. Told our room would be ready in half an hour so we waited, and waited and waited, in 105 degree heat. No water was offered, nor a place to sit. When we checked out there was no room for guests coming and going so we all stood in the heat waiting for our turn, and there sat the concierge, not looking or speaking to any us. Such a poor representation for a "fine hotel". Best part of our stay was the room. It was lovely, with a beautiful view of the vineyards. Pool is not great. Nice loungers but all with dirty towels from prior guests. Dinner staff at Acacia House were tired and spread thin. We found many of the staff to be working in two different places. A/C in our room went out at 11pm and it was hot. The bartender brought us a portable unit that he didn't know how to operate. Overall the staff was really nice but the whole experience felt like we were visiting on a soft opening of a new property. Meaning it didn't feel put together enough to be a luxury property. We have stayed at all the other luxury properties in the area and this one is not on par. Too bad. Hope they get it together as the rooms are beautiful and worthy of top notch service to match. To close, we just received our bill from them, which doubled each of our charges and took a half hour phone call to sort out. Overall not what we expect from this kind of property.

Stayed in a corner suite with vineyard view and wrap around deck. Went in mid-May on a quiet weekend and had a wonderful time. Hotel was not as capacity, which was nice. Pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Easy walk into town. TIP: Ask for a room on the top floor because you can hear people walking above you.

We went there for my girlfriends birthday and booked using Hyatt pts around 45k for a standard room with a vineyard for one of the weekend days in summer of July the cash price was around a 1000$. You don’t pay resort or destination fee when booked with points. They upgraded us to a nicer room with a bathtub and fireplace in the patio. They also had a complimentary chilled bottle of brut champagne for the birthday girl with a note and a bottle of red wine in the room. The valet parking was complimentary and they would charge my Tesla everytime we handed it over to the valet. I would say our experience was surprisingly way better than what I have read in reviews and comments but it maybe due to the birthday occasion I let them know of in advance. Anyways I was very happy with the service. Ps I have only a basic discoverer status with hyatt

We found the property very private and intimate. The view of the vines were very romantic. The beds and pillows were very soft, and the free coffee was excellent. We preferred to walk to town for breakfast and lunch, so the location was convenient. Can't comment on the restaurant though. There is a bridge to Beringer next door so we were able to get a $20 or $30 discount on wine tasting there.

I had the most wonderful time at Alila Napa this past weekend. All the staffs were very friendly and helpful, and they even gifted us a bottle of wine for my birthday. We spent the whole night sitting in the balcony by the fire, drinking wine, and listening to the sound of nature. It was amazing waking up right next to the vineyard, and I was staring at the amazing view all morning until we checked out. We were on the ground floor but didn’t have any noise issue from upstairs or neighboring units. I would happily choose ground floor over higher floors because the terrace doesn’t have railings and you feel closer to the vineyard. The breakfast at the acacia house was good too. I’d love to go back for another hotel staycation. Thanks Alila team for making my birthday weekend so memorable!

A magical, luxurious hospitality experience. The staff are attentive, kind, and seem authentically happy. The accommodations and amenities inspire delight and exquisite comfort. The grounds are lusciously landscaped, full of aromatic lavender bushes and nestled alongside vineyard views and mountain vistas. There is a spa-like tranquility throughout the resort and the atmosphere of spa itself was pure serenity. My time spent here was the ultimate reset, and I returned home well rested and full of gratitude and peace. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope I can return soon!

Amazing service, very accommodating to every need. Our room had a fire pit with vineyard views, which made it a very unique and romantic experience. The menu for breakfast was delicious, I'd highly recommend the "healthy Elvis". I cannot wait for my next trip to Napa Valley... I know where I'll be staying at!

Spent a fantastic stay at Alila. Staff was very attentive and friendly, special shout out to Alana who made us feel so welcome on our honeymoon. Poolside service was great, property and rooms are very clean and we appreciated the complimentary EV charging that’s done by the valets without asking.

The place to stay in heart of Napa. Just off main road, but close enough to action. Much of main facility is within a carved out farmhouse from 1920's, which is really cool. Forbes trained team accommodated every need and available around the clock. Three meal a day restaurant and spa are available daily. Most rooms have a view of Beringer estate vineyard and Spring Mountain AVA...with your own fire pit too. This is walking distance from downtown St. Helena...and easily accessible to either northern or southern Napa. Do yourself a favor and book here.

Ebony, Thank you for sharing your note. I am local to Napa and have enjoyed visiting your property a number of times including a two-night stay several months ago. We enjoyed one of your suites looking out towards the Beringer Estate, which was lovely. The staff was attentive, the cocktails delicious, the restaurant was enjoyable, and we had fun walking to town three or four times during our stay. You look forward to returning in the near future.

First off this would have been a 1 star review if not for the excellent front of house desk manager at Alila. She made things right after a really bad night so huge kudos. I’ll also shout out the amazing pool side bartender Rebecca who was as pleasant and attentive as can be. Positives: Alila’s vineyard facing rooms are beautiful and until you walk all the way out to the balcony you don’t see the parking lot and main road nearby. They have lots of good amenities like a personal fire pit and beautiful bathroom/shower and Japanese Toto toilet seat/bidet. The pool is small but very pretty and was never overly crowded. The spa seemed quite nice and we enjoyed the relaxation rooms and steam rooms which are available to all guests at no charge. Negatives: The biggest one for us was that our A/C broke and despite our room being very hot (the technician said “wow it is toasty in here” when he came in), they were not able to fix it while we were out to dinner and only presented us with one possible solution despite my worries it wouldn’t help - some fans. I was told at the very least the fans would be placed in the room so it would be cooler by the time we returned from dinner. When we came back at 11 pm the fans were unceremoniously left outside the room (see picture) and it was still blazing hot inside because they had not been placed inside and no windows were opened. This meant we had to open the sliding glass door to try and cool the room down before we could attempt to sleep. It never fully cooled down and it was a miserable night of sleep for us. Again, the front of house manager made this right when we checked out but it was still painful for such an expensive “high end” resort. The other issues were mainly small things that I just expect more of from a place of this price and prestige such as a one person check in “lobby” where we were told to just wait outside in the heat when we arrived and were not called inside after the people before us checked in so we sat around for no real reason. Additionally we were told the outdoor bar would be open at 3 and that didn’t happen and staff was pulled from the pool our first night well before the bar was supposed to close. Just strange and not what I would expect from such an expensive property. Ultimately if the price or the points cost (candidly my wife and I had used all our Hyatt points we saved up for our anniversary stay) was lower then everything aside from the a/c would be a non issue but it just didn’t seem to match what they were claiming to be. I’d give them another shot in the future due solely to the front of house manager but I’d be wary.

I want to leave a review for Tracy the massage therapist! The spa was so relaxing! Three of us on a girls trip and indulged in the zenith massage! I have to say it might have been the BEST massage I’ve ever had!! Tracy’s hands and techniques are amazing!!! Thank you so much for making us the most relaxed girls in the resort!!

We loved our stay at the alila last week. It was the perfect place for a one night getaway. The hotel facilities are pristine and we had a room with huge windows looking out onto the vineyard. If you’re into wine tasting, the Beringer winery is conveniently located next door. Our massages were soooo good, our only regret was booking 50 mins instead of 80. All the food we ordered for lunch and dinner was great, we wouldn’t have changed anything. The drinks we great too, especially at the outdoor terrace bar. Special mention to favorite bartender Oscar for his hospitality and excellent cocktail making skills!

We had a wonderful stay and a special shout-out to the concierge team, especially Megan for her guidance and suggestions on places to visit! We loved the employees and the food and the beautiful soaker tub on the balcony. It was so peaceful on the property. We will be back.

Nice place to stay . Staff are very pleasant and courteous. Only thing is the valet guy who got our car didn’t recharge it, so we have to wait for like almost 2 hrs the following day. Good the supervisor name Jesus and another guy name Andrew handled the situation. They did very nice decorating our nephews wedding venue . Kudos to your staff.

This was one of the best resorts I've ever been to. Location is amazing! Walking distance to town. Staff was MORE than helpful. Complimentary valet, amazing views from our room, margarita at the bar was awesome! Pool was awesome as well as the pool staff was more than accommodating. I loved it so much that I already started planning my next trip and I was at the airport, returning home. You won't be disappointed with the Alila
