Check
in
and
out
was
not
good.
Super
tight
and
disorganized
area,
with
the
concierge
taking
up
half
the
space
and
seemingly
doing
nothing.
Told
our
room
would
be
ready
in
half
an
hour
so
we
waited,
and
waited
and
waited,
in
105
degree
heat.
No
water
was
offered,
nor
a
place
to
sit.
When
we
checked
out
there
was
no
room
for
guests
coming
and
going
so
we
all
stood
in
the
heat
waiting
for
our
turn,
and
there
sat
the
concierge,
not
looking
or
speaking
to
any
us.
Such
a
poor
representation
for
a
"fine
hotel".
Best
part
of
our
stay
was
the
room.
It
was
lovely,
with
a
beautiful
view
of
the
vineyards.
Pool
is
not
great.
Nice
loungers
but
all
with
dirty
towels
from
prior
guests.
Dinner
staff
at
Acacia
House
were
tired
and
spread
thin.
We
found
many
of
the
staff
to
be
working
in
two
different
places.
A/C
in
our
room
went
out
at
11pm
and
it
was
hot.
The
bartender
brought
us
a
portable
unit
that
he
didn't
know
how
to
operate.
Overall
the
staff
was
really
nice
but
the
whole
experience
felt
like
we
were
visiting
on
a
soft
opening
of
a
new
property.
Meaning
it
didn't
feel
put
together
enough
to
be
a
luxury
property.
We
have
stayed
at
all
the
other
luxury
properties
in
the
area
and
this
one
is
not
on
par.
Too
bad.
Hope
they
get
it
together
as
the
rooms
are
beautiful
and
worthy
of
top
notch
service
to
match.
To
close,
we
just
received
our
bill
from
them,
which
doubled
each
of
our
charges
and
took
a
half
hour
phone
call
to
sort
out.
Overall
not
what
we
expect
from
this
kind
of
property.
