The
Ancil
Hoffman
Golf
Course
in
Carmichael,
California
is
in
a
beautiful
location.
It
borders
the
American
River,
so
big
trees
and
natural
foliage
line
the
fairways,
providing
plenty
of
shade
on
sunny
days,
and
wildlife
sightings,
like
deer
and
squirrels
are
a
common
occurrence.
The
scenic
environment
makes
for
a
very
peaceful
setting
to
enjoy
a
round
of
golf.
A
major
advantage
is
its
convenient
location
for
myself
and
many
in
the
Carmichael
and
Sacramento
area,
making
it
easily
accessible
to
many
golfers.
However,
this
accessibility
can
lead
to
some
downsides.
Tee
times
can
be
limited
at
peak
times,
making
it
more
difficult
to
book
a
slot,
but
if
you
make
the
drive
and
can’t
get
on
right
away,
there
are
some
nice
walking
trails
down
to
the
the
river
and
almost
nothing
beats
watching
your
worries
wash
away
with
the
flow
of
a
river.
In
summary,
I
really
like
the
Ancil
Hoffman
Golf
Course,
not
only
for
the
pleasant
golfing
environment
and
convenient
location,
but
for
the
feeling
of
spending
an
afternoon
in
the
woods
and
by
the
river.
I
recommend
it!
