Probably one of the worst medical facilities I’ve gone to. It’s one of those places where if you have tattoos or anything like that ( im also very thin and malnourished due to my medical condition) they treat you like a straight up tweaker. I have a rare medical condition called EDS and whenever im there having an flare up they basically scoff like “how dare i come in with a rare disease instead of a broken foot”, i am also autistic and they are not accommodating of that. I asked for a glass of water because i was so dehydrated and the women at the desk ordering starbucks rolled their eyes. This place is an absolute nightmare for the mentally and physically disabled and i would hope people working in the medical field would have a little empathy but i guess some people are just here for a paycheck. Switching my provider ASAP.

My mother recently went there to the emergency room because she passed out at home. She stayed for around 2 weeks. With complications out of anyone's hands, she passed away. However she was treated very well by the staff there. They accommodated us and our large family in every way and was very understanding of our needs. She passed with her dignity intact. I couldn't imagine that going (although tough) any smoother and stress free than it did. They kept us very well informed every step of the way. Thank you

The Kaiser Permanente hospital at Vallejo is a state of the art facility with dedicated doctors, nurses, and medical staff. The facility is clean and easy to enter. The hospital is big so be sure to arrive early if you are trying to find a new department. There are parking spots at the front entrance that are designated mostly for handicapped parking and there is a large parking structure nearby.

Brought my son in to hospital on the advise of the advise nurse. Puke lethargic. We been here there hours and kid is passed out. Told several people about this and we are still waiting. Two fights broke out. Lady told me 4-5 hours are normal wait times. I have never waited this long in my life!!!! It’s funny that we were told to come in and if he passes out call and ambulance but we get here he passed out and no one cared. Place is a joke.

Facility seems nice, but I have a big issue with the attitudes of the personnel. Some of the staff, the security to the nurses, some not all are NOT friendly. While visiting a patient in the ICU, I get looks and stares and not asking if I need any help. Security seems agitated, and thre nurses just stare at me and not say anything even if I said Hi first.

I've been healthy so I've little reason to go to the hospital until my recent broken leg requiring 2 surgeries, several nights stay, and followup visits. Overall I feel like I was well taken care of. Most of my needs were met and when there was an issue, my efforts to be respectful but forceful were met with compassion and solutions. I will continue to use Kaiser.

Completely incapable of taking a toddler with t1d. Staff had zero clue how to approach how address lowering bg. Dr claimed to be a pediatric dr. He had zero clue. My daughter went into dka and we took her straight to cpmc 8 hrs later. Kaiser is an awful hospital. The paramedics refused our request to goto Oakland children's and they are equally irresponsible. It's been a long week I forgot to mention even more awful things that happened with my daughter being admitted to er. They weighed her using the bed which indicated she was 52 lbs, we refused to accept that number so they kept weighing her on the bed which returned the high number. They brought in a scale and it indicated her weight as 14lbs less. This could have been a deadly mistake with giving my daughter medication based on her weight. After the long horrible experience which included 7 busses attempting to give her an iv, 2 of which were from nicu, they continued to discharge my daughter as she continued to puke.

I was there yesterday 6/26/2023 the emergency room was the worst ever. Never had experience something like this i got there at 4:30pm and only 3 patients ahead of me i was in so much pain crying screaming and no one will help went in till 9pm for and ultrasound and the lady was very nice came out to the hallway and crying screaming from pain and no one did nothing got up at 1:30am and said this is so ridiculous not even pain medicine. And the nurse said it’s up to you if you want to leave but you are next in line, i said I’ve been next in line since 7pm. I will never go back to Kaiser in Vallejo. Need better workers there. Tue girl at the front did not help at all, she said let me talk to the nurse and never did. All the patients left soo mad no one stayed.

Dr Williams and his team are absolutely the best of the best. He cares listens and finds an accommodating solution to any issues I’ve had big or small. His time and patience are greatly appreciated. I wish he could be my doctor for everything

You schedule your appointment and still have to wait. The expensive test that we have to pay but is it really necessary. Lack of communication from my doctor, that I have to hear from different personnel’s!

Dr. Ma, at Kaiser Vallejo, is patient and understanding with moms' need to know more. He is knowledgeable and shows he cares about my child's care. His predecessor Dr. Lou, who cared for all three of my children, was great too. Dr. Ma does not fall short of those big shoes!

As always, Dr. Yee was punctual, professional, very friendly, and totally devoted to finding answers to all my questions. During the entire time of my visit, I felt listened to, appreciated and under the best of care. Dr. Yee touches on every aspect of your concerns and gives some of the best advice there is to be had. She is an asset to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, and I am very fortunate to have her as my primary care physician. In the midst of some very difficult times, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was always there, extremely approachable, and ever willing to help. I recommend her highly.

The team of professionals at this facility are all excellent. Be sure to ask a lot of questions. And have a list of your medications if asked as well as a list of preventative issues. They are not psychics. Which leads me to believe that everyone should be educated on their health related issues to prevent things that may come up. Kaiser HMO is only as good as the user in taking care of ones self(or at least a little better); if you follow this advise you will do well in the Kaiser system.

Had to go overnight to the Emergency Room for an Asthma Attack. Dr. Chen and all of the nurses were wonderful. They got my breathing under control super quick and we’re very caring. The hospital is also in a very unsafe area but with the amount of security there I felt very safe. I hope I never have to go back but if I do I know I’m in great care.

Dr. Paul Rubin has been a life saving, compassionate provider of extraordinary care to both me and my husband. His calm and caring demeanor provides exactly the right approach when dealing with our health. Dr. Rubin has been spot on with his diagnosis and has ultimately saved my life more than once. We are always so grateful to be in his care.

Dr. Villa is very professional and took her time to review my medical history and current medical concerns. I truly appreciate her time and expertise. However, getting an in-person appointment with my doctor took almost a month of wait. I hope Kaiser makes changes in our doctor's daily schedules so a patient can see the doctor and do not have to wait for a whole month!

The PA was very kind, competent, and made me feel at ease. She explained everything before she did it, and performed the (minor) surgery quickly. She followed up to make sure I was healing and got back to me very quickly with test results.

Dr. Ngo was incredibly professional and explained everything very clearly. She was understanding and answered all questions in a precise but compassionate way. The appointment felt efficient but also sufficient. She was excellent and I was sorry I didn't have the opportunity to compliment her at the end!

Dr. Lee is very compassionate and takes the time to explain every doubt or question. He cares and is very knowledgeable. I appreciate his patience, his kindness and how he goes out of his way to make sure you have absolutely no doubt in your head once you leave his office.

Hospital care is (was) great, from the ER to ICU, and the nurses are awesome. But, if you need to have lab work done, go to another kaiser if you can. The Vallejo kaiser lab sucks! The staff is doing the best they can, don't get me wrong, but the wait here, even with an appointment, is just ridiculous. It is always overcrowded and now they have moved covid testing back into fhe lab (it used to be a separate location) o

The eye doctor was outstanding in every way, but the procedure of actually obtaining glasses is poor. Personnel are personable and helpful, but needing an appointment (and nothing available for several days) and frame shopping is poor due to lack of cost availability and not enough employees available for info.

Although I am dealing with cancer, your entire team is caring and wonderful to visit. I am very impressed with them all. I love the piano in the lobby music and music during procedures. keep it up!

Both pre and post surgery physical therapy has been wonderful, from home health care to in-person visits. Each therapist, at each stage of my recovery is professional, knowledgeable and personable. I owe my recovery to the care I've received.

My experience has been a positive one from my first meeting, through my surgery, and post surgery. Step by step I was informed on what would be happening, and all x-rays were looked at with me. Any questions I have had, and continue to have are always answered in a caring manner. Highly recommend

Jonathan was extremely thorough with the assessment. His questions raised awareness of details that could cause my pain and discomfort. The suggested exercises are appropriate, challenging, and very beneficial. He understood that learnings from books might only apply to some patients; therefore, he considered my circumstances and symptoms cautiously and thoroughly and applied knowledge and experience accordingly. I am incredibly pleased with his care and treatment plan.

I registered online and was called in early when I got there. The nurse took my blood pressure and the doctor came in immediately after. My doctor is friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. We discussed my condition and collaborated on best next steps with the agreement to follow up if I did not get better, the nurse followed up and brought me up to speed on my immunizations. I went to the pharmacy and got my medication in 10 minutes. All in all I woke up in the morning with severe back pain was able to make an appointment that day, and then was able to get in and out of Kaiser with the right medication and an action plan and under 40 minutes. Fantastic!

I am so very glad to have N.P. Jennifer Boyce as my oncology provider. She completes the appointment efficiently, yet takes the time I need, making me feel I matter. She treats my whole person with compassion, understanding, care and concern. I believe she is competent, capable and knowledgeable. She helps me access and navigate resources so that I can comfortably, easily and confidently take care of myself. I feel comfortable being with her and talking with her.

Had to make a scary appointment at womens health for myself today and the person(I believe cynthia) on the phone was so kind and understanding and helped me feel so much better about the procedure I need. Cynthia explained it so well and quelled my fear from the negative stories you see online, I'm still not Excitited to need this but I feel so much better about the whole thing. I wish everyone was like this person.

The nurses and doctors took good care of me throughout my labor and the birth of my daughter. We also had a good experience while we stayed the night with my newborn baby. Nurses checked in and made sure we were taken care of with advice, snacks, assistance, medications, etc.

I always like it when I go here in the daytime. My last experience at the ER was a complete opposite from anything Id ever experienced. Extremely long wait, No updates from staff, Rudeness from the guy in reception and that passed on to other staff members for whatever reason. But the guy made some rude comment right when we got to the counter and it was downhill from there. I was not impressed. And I've been there before at night too - but this last time, made me prefer going thru leaps and bounds to avoid having to go to that ER unless I absolutely have to now. During the daytime - everything is Sunshine & Roses though!

I’ve received great care from almost my drs. The best thing about Kaiser is, if you don’t like a doctor you can change them. I’ve had to do that two or three times in the 40 years I’ve had them on my own. You cannot blame Kaiser for the way a certain doctor treats you, unless they don’t take action if a number of complaints have been made.
