I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shah, Dr. Schmidt, and the whole Nova IVF team. They treat you like family and take the time in getting to know you and work to find the right protocol and plan for you. Dr. Shah was so supportive. She would personally call to give updates. She worked with me to make sure I understood what is going on, took in consideration our wants and needs, and made sure I was comfortable with everything. The whole Nova IVF team are so friendly, helpful, supportive, and knowledgable. We have been to other doctors who treat you like you are just another patient, but Dr. Shah makes it feel like she is right there with you as if she is on this journey as well. This is the kind of doctor and team you want when going through such an emotional and difficult process.

Everyone from the front office staff to the coordinators to the physicians are welcoming, approachable and knowledgeable at NOVA. Everything was well organized and the follow through was excellent throughout. Being in the medical field, I keep up to date on the current standards and innovations in infertility treatments and was very pleased that this office was extremely current in their recommendations and practice. Our cycles were tailored to our individual situation with great success thanks to the expertise of Dr Shah and everyone at NOVA. I am a healthcare worker myself and have had numerous experiences working with medical offices and hospitals. Nova IVF is an exceptional team. One that pays close attention to your journey and shows the utmost care and empathy. I am so impressed at how organized and responsive they are as a team. My husband and I were experiencing secondary infertility for three years, with several failed rounds of IUI before starting our IVF journey with Nova. I cannot say enough good things about all of the staff and Dr. Shah. They are patient, caring and go above and beyond at explaining all aspects of treatment. There were never any surprises with invoicing and payments, everything was clearly explain and reflected on the invoices as discussed. I ended up having to get surgery to remove a fibroid after my egg retrieval and the team followed my surgery and recovery to ensure I was ready to try IVF again. After 8+ years of trying for a baby through ivf at two different clinics, Dr. Shah and the talented embryologists at Nova made our dreams come true. We were honestly ready to give up. Our last embryo transfer was a Hail Mary. We now have a very happy and healthy 13 mo toddler keeping us busy! Parenthood is a whole other animal next to TTC.😆 On a more serious note, there was a significant improvement in the number of eggs and embryos that Nova was able to produce compared to our previous ivf clinic. The staff at Nova were more detail-oriented and professional as well. Dr. Shah was extremely patient, understanding, and gentle with me. TTC-ing and facing failure at every turn is so, so hard. Dr. Shah has seen me at my lowest of lows. All I can say about that is that I am immensely grateful for her compassion and understanding during those times. To top it off, she is incredibly smart, well spoken, and skillful. I have so much confidence and respect for her. I would have given this exact review of Dr. Shah and the team at Nova even if we were not successful in having our baby. That’s how great she and the staff are.

Going through IVF is a tough journey, but my husband and I received incredible care throughout the whole process--from our initial consultation with Dr. Schmidt to our experience with Laura at the front desk to the incredibly capable hands of Dr. Shah and our care team--especially Linnea. This process can be full of difficult moments, so you want a team who believes this will happen for you. Through our entire experience that's exactly the environment that Dr. Shah created for us. Dr. Shah is an empathetic, professional, evidenced based doctor: I did egg freezing with her and her team. There was no pushiness or selling. I was treated with respect and care by her and her team. I was able to reach the office when needed. Dr Shah is extremely knowledgeable - I had a difficult scenario and she presented realistic expectations. I was so lucky to find this place especially after being seen at Spring Sunnyvale where I was treated like a number, the lady Dr G there has Poor bedside manner and she rushed the ultrasound and declared egg freezing wasn’t a good option for me, the staff made a medical order mistake, they ordered extra unnecessary tests, and it took tremendous effort to get medical records from them sent to Nova (they resisted and said they couldn’t but later reversed that). Quite honestly that place seems to be a conveyer belt location probably catering to people whose tech companies cover their procedures. Not sure if that is the reason for their lack of warmth and reasonableness in the process. My experience at Nova was the complete opposite- it was personable (and less tech ie didn’t use an app. I got personalized emails with updates which I prefer), warm, pressure free, and humane. The Nova IVF Team was wonderful to work with. Everyone, from Dr. Schmidt and Dr. Shah to the NPs, PAs, and administrative staff, was extremely caring and professional throughout the process. Dr. Shah and Dr. Schmidt were thoughtful about different approaches to take to secure healthy, viable embryos. The entire staff was extremely supportive and compassionate - they calmed my nerves throughout the process. I've had to reach out with questions outside of business hours, and the on-call support they provided was extremely helpful and reassuring. Dr. Schmidt is the best! Infertility isn't a linear journey. Definitely lots of curve balls. After 2 rounds of IVF and 5 rounds of FET, with Dr. Schmidt and his team's care, we now have our daughter (about to turn one month old). I had a very lovely experience at Nova IVF. All the staff there are very kind and caring here. I felt very well taken care off and they did a great job monitoring me to make sure that I am on track. I really like the medication and dosage that they created for me because my body responded well to it and recovery was very quick.
