Decided to stay here for a night after reading all of the positive reviews. I wanted a place near the train station since we were leaving to Jaipur the next day. The bed and breakfast was clean, quiet and cosy. Nina was very accommodating and an excellent host. She gave us excellent restaurant tips, served us a delicious breakfast, and did my laundry for free which I really appreciate! She even offered to drive us to the train station! Nina inspires all of us to be better!

Nina is the most gracious & caring host we have ever stayed with. Her place is renowned over the years as a perfect home stay and having stayed there, we can say that it's the epitome of hospitality. There are a plethora of reasons of staying here & I'm listing a few of them below (not an exhaustive list) - Comfort & Convenience - Her place in Civil Lines is in close proximity to many of Delhi's major landmarks, Metro Stn & ISBT (Kashmere Gate). This made it a star attraction for us & many others. Yet, for those who are looking forward to a peaceful & tranquil stay, it offers that in equal measure too. Oberoi Apartments (erstwhile Curzon's House) is a nice, posh gated society and feels conveniently away from the hustle outside. We loved the verdant surroundings and a special mention for the peacocks & peahens that can be easily sighted inside the society premises. Room & Breakfast: The room was spacious and utilitarian & provided with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The drawing room was neatly decked and had a sizable collection of books to browse from. Because we were staying for a longer duration, having the provision to carry out laundry was super helpful too. Breakfast at Nina's was an experience of deliciousness alongwith nutrition (her homemade marmalade is a must try). A big shout out here for Chanda, for the wonderful variety of fares she brought to the table. Nina as a Superhost: She's really one, in every sense of the term! Her background in customer service maybe helps her excel in being an excellent host but, what distinctly stood out was the wonderful being that she's. Her thoughtfulness, generosity, exceptionally caring & welcoming demeanor made our stay really, really special. There's care & keen eye on every minute detail, which is difficult to be expressed in words and needs to be experienced first hand. She truly embodies and upholds the ancient Indian value of "Atithi Devo Bhava". This is a five-star & highly recommended property & if you're looking for a comfortable, convenient, value for money homestay in Delhi, then look no further.

I stayed with Nina on my first-ever visit to India in September 2022 and couldn’t have chosen a better place! Her home is an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of Delhi, a city that can be an assault on your senses sometimes. She even has a beautiful and cosy roof terrace. But most importantly, Nina is such a kind and and welcoming person. She dedicated an incredible amount of time to helping me with plans for exploring the city every day. Her suggestions were very helpful and it was a pleasure chatting with her because you can learn so much about Indian culture, cooking and lots of other things that are important in life. 😊She even organized yoga classes for me in her home. I liked staying with her so much that I even booked an extra night (4 nights in total). I can highly recommend Nina’s Homestay and will be happy to come back!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Nina Kochhar at her Homestay in Delhi. When we rang the doorbell, we were greeted by a gracious elderly woman radiating warmth and a welcoming atmosphere. The place is very safe, homely and well connected with metro and other means of road transport. The rooms are generously sized, the living area is indicative of her dedication to and affection for her family, and a shelf overflowing with books for an avid reader. She is willing to do her utmost to ensure your stay is pleasant. Please keep in mind that this is a homestay, so don't expect the same amenities you would find in a hotel. Should I ever be in Delhi again, this would be my go-to place for accommodations without a doubt, and I would gladly come back here again.

We really enjoyed our stay with Nina. The apartment is very cozy, the bed is large and comfortable and the terrace is a real oasis of well-being. Nina is a very hospitable and smart woman. Thank her we got the right advice for our short time in Delhi. We got our best breakfast in India at her Homestay. Thank you for so much hospitality.

Nina is an incredible host. Her rooms were rented out already but we were allowed to stay in her room. At breakfast we met the other guests from South Korea who were lovely and we’re hoping to stay in touch with them. Breakfast was amazing and customised after Nina heard my new founded love for kulfi (ice cream). This is a must do on your trip if you’re staying in New Delhi.

Nina has two rooms, one beautifully decorated dining space, small kitchen and a kind heart to offer. She is the coolest 70 year old I've ever met. Bringing more energy and warmth than any of us millennials. I've already stayed there twice on my visit to Delhi. Hoping to go back again. If you want a home away from home visit Nina's homestay. P.S the homestay is housed in a society founded in 1908. Filled with beautiful trees and birds. Plus she has a carefully curated personal terrace garden frequented by birds. Now it's upto you.

Homestays are one of the beautiful experiences of India, and Nina is a living treasure and archive of hospitality. She keeps a lovely home- simple and comfortable, with a magnificent rooftop garden- and the real luxury is her prescence, knowledge and generosity.
