I attended the show called "Chuhal" by Natakkaar Mandali. Theater is of 100 seats Capacity when filled it's packed. Stage is big enough to cater a show There are 2 freshrooms which are clean. Parking is available to cater around 10-15 cars. Beside this theater there is RAM MANOHAR LOHIA HOSPITAL, tea shops and small snacks along with it. Over all nice experience.

today I watched The curse of Hamlet by the Saitan theatre group on June 5th 2022. The show was fabulous also because of the arrangements in the theatre. it was a nice experience. The theatre is Located at a prime location in Delhi . it is a perfect place for many artists and also for audiences who are interested in watching theatre play . After NSD at Mandi House this is the place where there are regular shows available for theatre play. Interested people can also follow Akshara theatre on Instagram for regular updates about the shows . It is not that spacious and also the seats are not that comfortable but it gives a classic feeling of a theatre. The small size of the room makes the theatre artist voice to reach every corner without the help of any microphones or speakers.

Location is prime, seating capacity is less and not too comfort. You can go for it and enjoy the play.

Not the best theatre but also not the worst. Theatre is very small. The seats are very uncomfortable too. There is not much leg room which just ruins the whole experience

Well designed for theatre and plays. This place has a vintage looks from inside. Mainly the lighting arrangement and the seat arrangement are very appropriate. It was an amazing experience ,working with all of these talented artists in a play in Akshara Theatre.

I have had many wonderful experiences of my life there. Had watched plenty of theatres at Akshara. It’s always a delight being there. It’s a lovely set up, seats available on first come first serve basis, huge stage, lights and sounds are well managed. Highly recommended.

Its so small and compact that it can get claustrophobic for some. And fire safety measures are not as visible as they shud be. I always feel scared when I am watching a show there

It is a good place, build in a kind of archaic manner. Though the inner hall size I found little small from what I expected, rest it is good.

The place is good for having theatre shows. The place contains AC and fixed wooden seats. The toilets and parking are also available. The seating is not too comfortable though.

The artists are very talented and professional in this theatre. They know how to entertain the audience. They know what viewers want to see and make their stories accordingly. I have stopped going to cinema halls from when I started watching their plays. Note: If you want to enjoy their play then please book your tickets in advance because their shows get houseful very quickly.

Perfectly set up for theater and performances. The interior exudes a vintage charm, particularly with its well-planned lighting and seating. My experience collaborating with such skilled artists at Akshara Theatre was truly exceptional.

Nice little theatre.. capacity between 85 to 95..seats are fixid rigid type and might not be suitable for a bigger person..but proximity to stage make u feel very much into the act..you might get parking if reached earlier

This place is really nice if you're attending a stand-up comedy show as place is small so the interaction is more.

A great place to experience different forms of arts and recreation. The theatre is located in a very prime location, which can be accessed by all modes of transportation. You can check this out for drama, standup comedy, theatres, and many more things. They have 2 gentle dogs(one is Rottweiler for sure and the other is a boxer not confirmed.) They also have an amphitheater and canteen for an artist to practice and chill.

The setting of the theatre is very intimate and makes you feel like a part of the action/play. The lighting and sounds are on point and overall, a great way to enjoy performances.

The seats are very narrow. And the place is suffocating. Luckily the play I watched was nice. Won't be going back to this theatre.

Great small cozy lil theatre in the midst of central delhi. Seating is good for shows less than 1 hour long and the lighting and sound is decent.

The Show was Great. It was my First experience & I so much liked it. About theatre, the rating is about that only. It is not well maintained and lacks so many things in the view of hygiene. No Social distancing in practice. Too close to sit. No mandatary hand sanatization. No seat nos on seat, calculate manualy. Basic wooden chairs with little cushioning & no fancy facilities. Parking is bit tricky, first come basis. Stage is not too large but worth the people performing on it beautifully.

As well said, "Theatre is the art of looking at ourselves" seems true when I visited first time to watch 'Ashadh Ka Ek Din' Hindi play by Mohan Rakesh at Akshara Theatre.. Located just next to RML Hospital having small space for parking and somewhat small sitting space but it's beautiful... Looking forward for another play...

Nice ambience and small room space. Just two things were missing parking space was not available . People parked their cars outside the theatre and secondly the lighting as we were confused on the road where this theatre at. No lighting their to point out the place.

Quality of plays has degraded big time. Recently went to see Charandas chor by rajesh Tiwari. Very bad directed. It was like 20 act play. Many dialogues were not audible. Thetare had one canteen now that has been removed. Need an upgrade on infra and play terms.

The Show ""Meeta ki kahani"" Experience was something like "A breath of a Fresh air"πŸ’«πŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸŒΈ when you are bored of doing the same thing. It was my first ever experience of a Live Play (by Vijay Tendulkar ji ) which was organized on 02.04.2022 at Akshara Theatre, New Delhi. By my loved once ❀️❀️❀️"4th Dimension theatre Group" when I entered in theatre I was so attracted by design of the wooden stage which was lighten up by dramatic yellow bulb lights. experience of watching it from so close was so exciting. I want to give a Thanks to the director Mr. Praveen Kumar Sir who gave me the opportunity to experience this amazing show. and also to the cast (Rahul Shukla, Rinki Negi, Ambika Kimothi, Saabir, Aayushi ) of "meeta ki kahani" for making my first experience as an amazing.
