Fabulous experience! Both the food and staff exceeded expectations. The staff is super attentive and friendly. I believe the chef might have esp because our order flew out of the kitchen like the chef knew what we wanted before we arrived. Try the thin crust 🍕 pizza, it is excellent and you can add anything you want. Yippee! While your at it, double your tip because the standard 15% tip didn't seem fair since the prices are really really economical. Trust me, we checked the bill twice yo make sure all of our bar drinks and food where on it, they where. So, show the staff lots of love with a better tip. This is definitely on the list to go back to when we are in the area.

Stopped in here with a group before a show at The Dow. This place is perfect. Clean, cozy neighborhood dive bar with excellent food and great staff. The place was packed out on a Friday and I’d be willing to bet it’s like that most days. Definitely will stop back by when we’re passing through Saginaw.

Such a great hometown bar. They are constantly adding to there menu and listening to customer feedback. Staff has been a TEAM for quite some time and it makes for a great atmosphere.

I was here with my Sweetheart and my best friend, Kathy. Girls, Merl's is the place to go in Saginaw if you want a stiff drink and a game on the television set. It was good to be home with friends at Merl's!

Amazing!!! I travel 75% of the year for work … needless to say I eat out a lot. This place, its staff, food, atmosphere and clientele are absolutely awesome. The Manager (sorry forget his name) treated me like we were old friends… great guy and knows how to make a stiff drink. Perfect neighborhood bar with something for everyone. Thanks again!!

Small hometown pub atmosphere. Lots of televisions for sports viewing. Great food. Real brick oven pizzas and the service is top notch!

Always a great time here. I love coming out when I get a chance too. Highly recommend at any point in time. Dave and Mj are amazing bartenders. Just an outstanding experience, gotta try it at least once.

Everything was good aside from the nudge machines. I won $60 and they give you a gift card for the restaurant. Everywhere else that has nudge machines pays out in VISA gift cards. I heard from other regulars that they weren’t paid out via restaurant gift card so must just be something they do to new comers? Would be crazy winning $1500 and having to spend it all back at the restaurant!

When I get back to Saginaw, I always go to Merl's! The drinks 🍸 🍺 🍻 are always exactly what me and the gals need.

Nice place and Friendly Staff BUT they did NOT have the Bud Light Seltzer Drinks I wanted even though they had an advertisement hanging on the Wall for them??😱🤦😥🤷
