We reserved a room here for a 3 night stay. Arrived late after a full workday to a room I felt safer to sleep in my car. Woke the next morning to reserve a room at a hotel 50 miles further away just to have a clean room to sleep in. Bed bugs in the draws and mattress. Floor shows mass water damage from bathroom.

Two words- Bed bugs!!!! The front desk was informed, but they were so nonchalant about it, no apologies, and they said they would “put a note for it”… upon arrival, the room smelled like cigarettes and the sheets had burn marks. Floor was dirty and warped! The stress and panic from our own clothes and belongings becoming infested with bed bugs was not worth any of it.

I recently stayed at this location! It was a bad experience. The hotel room was disgusting. The sheets had stains. The lamp shade had a lipstick stain. The room had mold and had a terrible odor. We had the room for two nights we decided to only stay one night and asked for a refund for one night. We have been given the run around about getting the refund when we were told they would issue the refund for the get go. Very disappointing

The worst place I have ever stayed. The smoke alarm was ripped off the wall. There was a used crusty washcloth hanging over the shower rod. The bolt on the inside of the door was ripped off. There was hair and dirt in the sheets, and bedding was stained and gross. I didn’t see any signs of bed bugs, so at least they had that going for them. Pay the extra money and stay anywhere else but here. Absolutely do not recommend!

If you are looking for a comfortable bed with amazing pillows and clean sheets and two nice size towels to take a hot shower and you also want to enjoy the low rate knowing that you’re not going to be at the Hilton then this is the place to stay. Very nice management and the cleaning lady was also lovely. I love my Redroof inns. But I also know that I’m getting what I paid for and I’m OK with that. Will definitely stay here again.

The first room floor wasn’t swept properly, holes in the wall, sheets was stained & smelled moldy. The second room wasn’t wiped down properly, tub was dirty , sheets were stained & also had a moldy smell to it. The third room was a little better than the other two rooms but also wasn’t swept properly, had a subway sandwich still in the refrigerator with a chip on top of the refrigerator, with a big ball of cat hair by the air conditioner. We came four hours away & it was already 8pm when we arrived. Went though 3 uncleaned rooms & was ready to settle me & my family in. So it was obvious we wasn’t getting a cleaned room so me & my fiancé decided to clean the room ourselves. We wiped down all surfaces, cleaned the bathroom, swept & mopped the whole room. Right when we finished cleaning the whole room , we found mold on both the bed skirts. So we couldn’t sleep in there. But they couldn’t give me a refund right away & I didn’t want to be out of a room or money so we decided to take the bed skirts off since we already cleaned the whole room. Through all of that trouble I at least would’ve expected some money back or a discount on another day or something to fulfill the complications but all they could offer was late check which is only a hour after the original check out. Also we stayed 2 nights & after the first night we found mold in the bathroom too. So it was a horrible stay ! Need better housekeeping! Make the hotel match the review rates!

$80 for a room for 9 hours?! Advertised as $55. And it was going to be 8 til I said something. If everywhere else werent sold out... And thats not mentioning how gross it is. I wanted to stop for a shower and sleep but i couldnt even bring myself to step on the floor barefoot. Edited to add towels with hair and dirt on them

The room smelled awful when we first walked in. Comforter was dirty as well. Remote wouldn't actually control the TV, but it would control the set top box. I was willing to look past those things and stay, but the final straw was seeing a roach climbing on the wall. To the guys credit, he did offer to move us to another room, but if there is one roach visible, there are hundreds lurking. Wasn't going to take any chances.

Have stayed here many time because of location/proximity to Frankenmuth MI. And they are pet friendly. Property is run down and needs attention. Often find problems with cleanliness. Good idea to ask to see room first. I will stay here again only because of the location. Would stay elsewhere if i had an option with same features.

The man was professional and nice at check in. I went to my room, their was feces and hair all over the bathroom, sink area and both beds. (I was given a dirty room) I went down and told the guy what I found and he wanted me to go to a one bed. I told him, I have two kids. (We have to have two beds.) I told him, I would clean the room. I also told him, i would remake the beds if he gave me the bedding, gloves and cleaner to do so. He did give me the supplies needed and I cleaned the room. I didn't get a refund or discount on my stay being I cleaned the room I was staying in. The guy was irritated. But he knew he gave me a dirty room. I could tell by his facial expressions when I first checked in. He told me he was putting me in a one bed room at check in and I said "no." I have to have two beds, being i reserved a room with two beds. Then he gave me a dirty room, instead of telling me they didn't have a two bed available. He wasnt honest with me. Overall, 1 rating accross the board.

Upon my arrival. The check in person informed me I had made two bookings. When i also informed him that i also only needed to stay 3 nights and not 4 as booked. He informed me that I'd have to cancel the 2nd booking charges as well as get my 4th night refund through the third party booking app company. Upon my return home. I called the third party company explaining what occurred. Together we called this motel location. The staff werr inform them that there was no 2nd booking made and that the motel is to issue the refunds for both charges on my credit card. I received a email from the staff confirming they investigated their accounts and agreed to refund both charges. After 3 months and several emails and phone calls with all levels of RRI management. I have yet to receive my refund of approximately $135 US dollars. That's close to $200 Canadian. My point IS. This is a matter of integrity and honesty of business. Of which it appears all levels of RRI management does not get at all. Travelers, be warned... and... spread the word of this type of business practice.

I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn Saginaw - Frankenmuth Hotel for a weekend getaway, and it was truly wonderful! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, being close to shopping and dining options, as well as other attractions in the area. The hotel was also very clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in the area.

My van broke down on the highway. At 50 a night online price. They charge more at the desk I found the rooms clean, people friendly, nice service. It was a good place to stay while I got my situation worked out. May others be blessed in the same circumstance! Hallelujah. Jesus!!!

So my friend was staying here. 2nd day she asked for some fresh towels, NOPE. She had to bring them her towels to be washed. She asked for fresh bedding on the 3rd day and same thing, she had to bring hers down to be washed. She's at day 5 now and still hasn't gotten her comforter back. Thankfully there was 2 geds in the room and she could still cover up at night. Front desk doesn't like to give guests a receipt if you pay cash then tried to say she didn't pay. When I paid for her to stay one more night I used my cc card. The man literally picked his nose then touched my card. I was devastated 😢. Do not recommend at all. Got my credit card bill and they double charged me!!! Then when I went up there they threw me out and said basically to bad. Do not stay here people, they are crooks

I was in room 114. The sheets and blankets were dirty as well as the floor. I called for them to come see and he said he’d give me another room, he made the bed back up like I’d never been there so I’m guessing he was going to sell it to some unknowingly person. I moved to room 107 only to find the bottom sheet was disgusting and the top sheet and comforter brand new. The room was updated more than the previous room but I still don’t understand why they don’t wash the sheets in this dungeon. I’ll never patronize this hotel again. It’s nasty and disgusting!!!

The Red Roof Inn New Jersey is better.. I killed 3 spiders my first night in my room. They offered me a new room. Then talked me into staying in the same room after someone came to re clean the room. Horrible smell lingered. The sheets had stains an lastly there was a gap in the door, that could be a reason for the spiders coming inside. Very disappointing and won't stay here again.

Indeed a great stay at this motel. Rooms are superior and the check in process was absolutely friendly and they didn't charge me for pets though. I would surely recommend this at the price offered.

Stayed a few Nights for last minute bookings. We Enjoy Red Roof Inn Hotels when they are Upgraded. This Hotel could use a little more upgraded like the Top Bedding but Towels and Sheets were Clean (We use our own Top Bedding anyway)... The Hotel could keep upgrading and Making Improvements...It is not the Nicest or newest, but Overall I think it was very Clean and Comfortable and they were very Hospitable. Giving 5 Stars because they are doing things to improve the rooms and property and it seems to us that the Ratings Given are just bad experiences vs the Overall Deserved Rating. Maybe At the Moment they are 4 instead of 5 but as long as they keep making things better, this can be a really great Hotel for The Red Roof Inn Properties (along with a number of other Red Roof Inns making changes for the better).

I had the pleasure of staying at the Red Roof Inn Saginaw - Frankenmuth Hotel recently for a weekend getaway. From the moment I stepped inside the hotel, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that was created by the attentive staff. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the televisions and wifi worked perfectly. I especially enjoyed the convenient location of the hotel, which was only a short drive away from some of the area's best attractions. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the Red Roof Inn Saginaw - Frankenmuth Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay!

I had a great stay at the Red Roof Inn Saginaw - Frankenmuth Hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast place nearby was also delicious, and the amenities were great. The location was perfect - close to the city center and all the attractions of Frankenmuth. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in the area.

This place was awful. We had ants show up the next morning after our first overnight and every morning after waking up throughout our stay. The man at the front desk didn’t care stating it’s cold and that they come in and when it’s warm weather they leave. The floors were dirty even though they looked clean in the online photos they were anything but! When I sprayed the floor to kill the ants daily and wipe them up the toilet paper came up black! There were cobwebs all over too. The microwave had dried up food in it. The roll in shower chair was broken so my handicap mom couldn’t take a shower at all. There was constant noise from people who were staying there long term it looked like as well as the people who checked in one night banging doors on their car and yelling at one another right next door to our room. It was not comfortable to be near or around. We had a snowstorm dump between 5-8 inches of snow on our last overnight and when I called the front desk to see if they were going to shovel us out so we could leave he said no!! Mind you my mom is handicap and doesn’t walk well and has to be rolled out to our car and you have to help her in. Within a few minutes of the phone call to the front desk there was a knock on the door and it was the man from the front desk who handed men two shovels asking if they would work? I was shocked that I had to dig us out and that he was too lazy and full of excuses why they wouldn’t clear us out so we could leave. I would never ever stay here!!!!! This hotel needs to be shut down. It is awful. The photos are deceiving vs what the rooms are really like: dirty, filthy, and insect infested with an owner who doesn’t care. Had I booked directly with them vs thru my tmobile discount which is a third party using priceline, etc I would have checked out immediately and gotten my money back and found a better hotel for myself, my mom who was s handicap, and my dog. They are a zero rating in my book.

Check in was great, room was nice for the price. Got busy around 11_12pm and noisy for awhile. That was the only downside

It was absolutely horrible and disgusting. Sheets, pillows, comforter all had stains, strands of hair everywhere, and cigarette burns on the sheets. Changed rooms and same problems were in that room. Under the bed was disgusting and had tissues and cigarette butts. The bathroom started to reek of cigarette smoke that was coming from the ceiling vent that must have been coming from another room. Outside the doors of the rooms was tons of trash, hundreds of cigarette butts and even a needle cap! The population hanging around town looked like they were on drugs and were acting crazy. Absolutely the worst hotel experience of our lives. Absolutely disgusting. I wish I read the reviews first!!

Very very clean and really super quiet for a red roof!! The manager was great as well. Seemed no nonsense type of guy! Passing thru on the way to a friend's place. Pleasantly surprised!!

You know those hotels/motels you see in your home town that you wouldn’t recommend to people staying at? This is that kind. Don’t get me wrong the staff is nice. But the cleanliness of the room was appalling. And the room overall just looked like it had been on its last leg. But hey, you get what you pay for.

The clerk was nice and gave me a larger room for the same price for the same price. But, the room was filthy!! It was like, song, someone made the bed and closed the door. There was trash underneath the bed the tub was nasty no surface was wiped off!

Overall experience is fantastic for the price. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the room was clean and pretty much spacious, the bath area is absolutely clean. Room ambiance is good. No disturbance from outside and the amenities were great. The location was perfect - close to the city center. I would definitely recommend this motel for the best hospitality experience in low price.

This place is a great value, the location is very convenient and it's mostly quiet. The building is older but it's well maintained. The staff is kind. As a woman traveling alone with a child I was comfortable here, and for a reasonable price. The hot water is incredible and the air conditioning works perfectly.
