The museum, unravels the mystique of the cult of Lord Krishna. It endeavours to present the multifaceted personality of Krishna as narrated in the episodes of Mahabharata and the Bhagvata Purana. The museum has six galleries, three each in two blocks. On display are stone sculptures, bronze castings, leaf etchings, miniature paintings, clay pottery and terracotta artifacts. An extension of this museum is the Multimedia Mahabharata and Gita Gallery set up by Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Nestled within its walls, the Krishna Museum beckons visitors on an extraordinary journey into the enigmatic realm of Lord Krishna. Here, the multifaceted persona of Krishna, as woven into the tapestry of the Mahabharata and the Bhagvata Purana, unfolds in all its splendor. This captivating museum comprises six galleries, divided evenly between two blocks. Each gallery holds a treasure trove of artifacts that breathe life into the legend of Lord Krishna. Stone sculptures, bronze castings, delicate leaf etchings, exquisite terracotta creations, and particularly, the miniature paintings, bear testament to the craftsmanship of the era. The level of intricacy and devotion poured into each miniature painting truly struck me. These masterpieces felt like a glimpse into the artist's soul, capturing the essence of devotion and storytelling. It was as if they held a mirror to the spiritual journey of Lord Krishna. The aura is palpable, and one can almost sense the presence of the deity within the walls. Stepping into the museum feels like a pilgrimage into the heart of devotion and artistry. Every piece, meticulously curated, narrates a story of its own, echoing the timeless tales of Krishna's divine escapades. As an extension of this sanctuary of culture, the Multimedia Mahabharata and Gita Gallery, a collaboration between Haryana Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, offers a digital odyssey through the epic. It seamlessly intertwines technology with tradition, providing a dynamic and immersive experience for modern audiences. The Krishna Museum stands as a beacon, not only to the devotees of Lord Krishna but to all seekers of wisdom and lovers of art. It offers a rare glimpse into the cultural tapestry of ancient India, preserving the legacy of Lord Krishna for generations to come. In conclusion, a visit to the Krishna Museum is akin to embarking on a spiritual sojourn, where the essence of Lord Krishna permeates every corner. Its meticulously curated exhibits and innovative multimedia gallery pay homage to the enduring legacy of this divine deity. For anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of India, this museum is an absolute must-visit.

A place devoted to lord Krishna and and the era of Mahabharata depicting some scenes of Mahabharata and finest historical relics dating as back as 2nd century from all over India. From harrapan artifacts to embroidery, this place has lot to offer And to the surprise it's only 30 rupees for the entry ticket. But this place needs proper attention and maintenance. It's located adjacent to science panorama and worth a visit.

Srikrishna Museum is situated beside Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre in same complex. Ground Floor has bronze, wooden and terracotta sculptures of Lord Krishna. First Floor has wall paintings of different materials and styles like Palm Leaf Paintings, Cloth Paintings in Rajasthani, Odisha Styles. Second Floor has adaptation of various scenes of Mahabharat and Lord Krishna’ Birth to God Forms. Photography and Videography is banned in the museum. Cleanliness and Maintenance of museum is very good. ONLINE Ticket Booking System of Srikrishna Museum Trust is complete FAILURE. I know, the STRICTNESS of GUARDS is good for discipline and maintenance of museum. But still their INTERFERENCE is more than expected. ADVICE - If you are a lover of archeology, you haven’t seen Mahabharat & Sri Krishna on Television and haven’t read Geeta or Mahabharat, then you should visit this museum OTHERWISE no need to visit. Hope The Review Helps !!! Regards

It's one of the best places to visit when you go to Kurukshetra. Amazing piece of wooden art. The architecture of building is also amazing. Had a wonderful experience here. You can buy ticket from window as well as online by scanning the QR code. If on a tour of institution, it will be cheaper. I visited it about a decade ago when I was a kid and now again in April 2023. This place has its own charm. One thing also to be noted that you should have interest in the Mahabharata if you visit Kurukshetra. This place is filled with tons of references.

👍👍 Om Nama Shivay 🧡 One of the best temple in the Kurukshetra. Shiva and Shakti are both given utmost importance in the day-to-day life of Haryanvi. It had more similarities to Dravidian-style temples as it has Pond and a Sacred tree in it. And most importantly Haryanvis knew about Karthikeya/Murugan...
