The temple is said to be both Shakti peeth and Siddhi peeth. This is where it's believed that Maa Sati's Navel and heart has supposedly fallen. This is a small temple which is surrounded by what looks like rooms for travellers to stay. It was quite dissapointing to see the temple which is said to be a Shakti peeth and Siddhi peeth to be in this manner and not developed or on the top pick list of visitors.

This is a must visit if you are in Haridwar. This is one of the Shakti peeth temple.l, and it's believed that Mata's Heart and navel fell here. Everyday Pooja and Aarti are offered here, you can plan to visit the evening 7pm Arti too. The temple is located very near and in 3-5mins walking distance from Mansa Devi temple/ Har ki Pauri. Generally this place is quite and you can get peaceful darshan and Mata and offer your prayers wholeheartedly.
