A big pond is surrounded by trees and natural beauty. The weather and the fresh breeze is enjoyable here. Migrant birds comes to this place in the winter. You can vome here for relaxing. In the baishak many events are seen. The road is currently under construction so hopefully people may enjoy a smooth journey coming to this place very soon.

A wonderful place to see. This place is spectacular for both archeological and historical point of view. It is a big pond( Dighi) like a lake having 9 metre of average depth. Water remin here round the year. It is versatile place because it has many other things like migrating birds during winter, swimming point, picnic spot, green canopy around the pond. whole day visit here is enough because you can't stay with your family here over night. No good restaurants are available near this place.

Nilsagar is a historical lake, situated at a distance of 14 km in the north-west corner of present Nilphamari district headquarters in Gorgram union. It is believed that the historical Vedic king Virat dug this dighi and it was known as Virat Dighi Later came to be known as Binna Dighi. After independence, it became popularly known as Nile Sea and now it has been extensively renovated to entertain the wanderlust. Every year in the winter season numerous guest birds gather in this blue sea.
