Khanqah e Niyaziyah is one of the oldest if not THE oldest Khanqah in Bareilly. It contains within itself Shrines of Chishti saints the most renowned and prominent of which is Hazrat Shah Niyaz Ahmad Chishti Barelvi Ψ±ΨΩ…Ω‡ Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨͺΨΉΨ§Ω„Ω‰. He was a Shaykh of the Chishti Sufi Order and was well versed in various fields of Islamic Knowledge. He is said to have studied Hadith or the science of Prophetic Narrations from the Grand Master of his time Hazrat Shah Abdul Azeez Dehlvi the son of famous Shah Waliullah Dehlvi Ψ±ΨΩ…Ω‡Ω… Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨͺΨΉΨ§Ω„Ω‰. If I talk about the place, it's beautifully carved in a medieval style native to Indo-Arabic monuments. It has two entrances, one main hall where people can pray Namaz. The Shrines are slightly elevated above ground level for the sake of respect and the place is usually brimming with visitors and a sound of Qawwali can be readily heard emanating from the halls at all times.
