The food here is OUTSTANDING. Service is extremely good as well. They are very creative and the freshness is evident. Flavors work together, lots to choose from. If you love Sushi, you have to try this place...

“Phenomenal!” Real Blue Fin Tuna Toro. Serious sushi. I cannot stop thinking about the sushi I ate here. My wife and I dream about eating here. Three times now we have relocated our vacations to St. Augustine just to eat the sushi at Ginger Bistro. Few places in this country can offer an Omakase Experience as revered as Chef Tuna’s at Ginger Bistro. If only Miami could have a sushi place like this.... Our multi course meal was a journey through the senses. Starting off with “melt in your mouth” Blue Fin Toro sashimi, real Wagyu beef, fresh Caviar, Salmon Toro, cooked blue fin tuna and, eventually, reaching its crescendo with a succulent Miso marinated Chilean Sea Bass cooked to perfection. Everything immediately melts in your mouth and disintegrates with just the push of your tongue on your palate, Each taste is bursting with flavors and leaves an unforgettable linger in your mouth. Holding back our reaction to the food is impossible. I felt like getting down on my knee’s to praise the chef in gratitude. Never have I tried Aged Blue Fin Tuna so fresh with Salmon caviar, Cilantro, 24 kt gold flakes on a buttery toast. The bite sized Toro rolls are just the right size to fit in your mouth, and it melts away there in seconds. The rolls fit in your mouth, as they should. You wont find any mayonnaise or heavy sauces poured all over your food here. This is the best opportunity for anyone to savor a real sushi experience.

We were looking forward to going here. It was an especially chilly night, which demanded a good ole bowl of savory ramen. I heard their sushi was on point too, so those two were on the list for sure. When we arrived it was busy, but we were seated right away since there were three tables available. The staff was very nice and responsive. When we sat down we immediately ordered our drinks and a sushi roll appetizer. It was the crunchy spicy tuna roll. We got our drinks and were still browsing the menu for the right ramen and other items. It probably took another 15 minutes to make up our minds. We landed on the spicy Godzilla ramen (extra spicy) with extra chili oil and the Flagler roll. Fifteen more minutes go by and still no appetizer. My wife asked about our appetizer, and the waitress said she'd check. Next thing we know, my wife's ramen arrived but no appetizer sushi roll or the Flagler roll. We asked our waitress why we still hadn't received our sushi rolls, and she said the sushi bar was very backed up. This was super frustrating to hear, because had we known that we wouldn't receive our appetizer when we expected or the two dinner items at the same time we would've steered clear of ordering sushi altogether. Another fifteen mins later, after the arrival of the ramen, our rolls arrived. My wife and I shared the ramen so we could at least eat together. The ramen was hot and savory. I wish there were double the noodles but overall a pretty decent ramen bowl. The crunchy spicy tuna roll was pretty good and the Flagler roll was just ok. The textures were off for my taste. I would come back but maybe just for the ramen and/or order the sushi with the expectation it could be late. If we had guests with us it would be very inconvenient, since we'd all potentially not be eating at the same time depending on what we ordered. I highly suggest they fix the timing of the delivery of food and fix the way the efficiency of the sushi creation, or at least tell guests there is a delay at the sushi bar to give customers the option to change their order to avoid disappointment. My wife questions my 4-star rating, because of the poor communication about our food, so she said she'd need to go back a second time to see if that was just a busy night. I'm sticking with the 4-stars for now, but it seems like we'll go back to try at least one more time.

We dined here after they completed renovations, and what a great job they did! The interior is modern and cozy with ample seating and warm lighting. What we enjoyed: -Sushi was on point, fresh and delicious. -Ramen was excellent. We had the Tonkatsu with sliced pork and the Godzilla with shredded beef. The meats were tender and tasty. The broth was excellent. Be warned--the Godzilla is SPICY. They are not playing around! I loved it but so many other places claim spicy dishes that are not truly hot that you need to be prepared. This is the real deal. -Krab Rangoons were hot and crispy and the filling we plentiful and delicious. -Service was excellent. Tea cups and water were kept filled. -Scallop and Filet Hibachi was delicious with a nice portion of both proteins and a perfect side serving of fried rice. What we didn't enjoy: Absolutely nothing! Everything was great. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely return.

Ordered Curry Ramen takeout. I asked to have sliced pork instead of the fried chicken that is listed on the menu. Broth was delicious, noodles more chewy than I’m used to when I order NYC ramen. I was disappointed I didn’t get any fish cakes - I did not realize since I didn’t get the fried chicken I wasn’t getting any fish cakes either and that wasn’t communicated to me. I did pay for an extra egg too. Next time I eat there I’ll let them know.

This was was our first time here but will absolutely be back! The service was top notch, everyone was very attentive and the food came fresh out of the kitchen quickly. The only feedback I could provide is that the chicken in the chicken fried rice was overcooked and dry, but the flavor of the sushi was amazing.

Very clean, sushi is great! Hibachi was good, although fried rice had a cinnamon taste, which was different. Service was excellent and quick. I have 3 stars on the atmosphere because the music was terrible, too loud, and a constant shrill female voice. I appreciate different cultures, but this music was not tolerable.

Edit 3/18/23: they redeemed themselves! The tonkotsu ramen was spectacular, beating any ramen I have had. The sushi was great and the bento box lunch was massive! Eh, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. We used to LOVE their ramen and sushi options. It seems they have let a few things go. The Ramen flavor was not rich like Japanese ramen, lacked salt and had a strange sweet flavor. The spicy tuna roll was mega spicy, strange for what it is. They also served my kids about 15 min before we got served so they pretty much finished before we got our food. I did leave disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic. I asked for sushi roll recommendations and both were so so good. The Honeymoon roll and the 2020 roll are magical. The ramen was delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive. This is a must try

Jimmy Smith sushi roll was very good. Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Belly was OK. The pork was a bit tough. They were out of the Asahi beer which was a bummer but they have a good selection of drinks. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere wasn't bad but the jazz music they were playing was annoying.
