My husband and I wanted a weekend away and a place to stay and go to "Night of Lights" in St. Augustine. I am so thankful we found this amazing place to stay. Such an inviting location from the start. The staff was always so kind and welcoming from the front desk, the housekeeping and for sure the staff in the breakfast area. Mr. Farid and all the others were so helpful and were there to for sure make your breakfast time amazing. They offer such a great breakfast from pancakes, meat, potatoes, eggs and biscuits and gravy. So much more offered for breakfast if you want simple. (Loved the home feel of people knowing each other) This location was above par on cleanliness. Rooms were comfortable for sure and all your needs provided. The view from our room on the third floor gave us an amazing Sunrise view. I am so so happy we chose Vilano beach for this stay. Close enough to everything yet peaceful. THANK YOU TO THE STAFF!!!

My stay at this Holiday Inn was perfect. I came in late after a long drive, and I was greeted with southern hospitality. The lady who checked me in made me and my wife feel at home. During my stay, there was only a few other guests staying there, which made the experience more intimate and quiet. The rooms were super clean and modern. My room had a balcony which had a great view of St. Augustine in the distance, and a view of the beach. Just 10 minutes away from St. Augustine Historic Downtown. The entire staff were warm and welcoming! Overall, I will be returning to this Holiday Inn and I will also recommend others to stay here!

The rooms are nice, clean and large every room comes with a balcony. Although you are unable to see the ocean, you most definitely can hear it!! Follow the beautiful mosaic sparkling sidewalk that looks like waves. Go either way one end is the river with a magnificent Pier made of cement. A surprise awaits for you at the beginning. Follow the path the opposite way and you will walk right into the ocean. Don't worry about not being on the pricey beachfront , you are on an island of the beach. The grocery store Publix is just a few steps away. You are able to stroll anywhere! You couldn't find a staff member more dedicated to their jobs. They each will go above and beyond with smiles on their faces. The swimming pool is inside and heated! Make your reservation and stay at the best place you have ever encountered. Arriving and discovering the size of the room, along with having a terrace, left me pleasantly astonished. This place truly stands out for its exceptional quality considering the price. During check-in, Kory at the lobby was remarkably kind. (I intended to write this review immediately, but I've been delayed, so I'm unsure if I remember the name accurately. To the kind gentleman, thank you!) It's a place where it feels almost regretful to only use for sleeping. The staff during breakfast treated us so kindly, just like family. During my travels where my primary need is a place to sleep, I frequently choose Holiday Inn, and this stay might just be the warmest memory I'll retain. We connected our HDMI cable and enjoyed watching movies comfortably. The bed is crucial, and its higher height compared to other places made it even more comfortable. Moreover, we were promptly assisted with a downtown tour at a discounted rate, enhancing our enjoyment of St. Augustine beyond our expectations. This is a place I'd love to revisit.

New hotel and very nice. Breakfast was the best in terms of hotel "free breakfasts", with a nice selection of food. The fresh cut-up fruit was excellent, served in little "to-go" cups. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located 2 blocks from a nice Publix grocery store and 4-5 blocks from the beach. They lend out beach chairs and other beach supplies. The beach is beautiful and is a wonderful place to catch the sunrise while sipping a fresh cup of coffee. The hotel is located across the bridge from St. Augustine (5 minute drive) with plenty of parking. Highly recommended!

This was the most relaxing, most extraordinary get away with the best views, kindest, most attentive staff, and the most memorable opportunity to bond with my husband. Truly, from the staff offering us homemade banana muffins at the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had, to the balcony that took our breath away, this was a once in a lifetime experience. I hope for all of you reading this that you get to experience that lowering of blood pressure and rising of priorities that comes with a stay at this extraordinary place. St Augustine itself was a wonderful historical place to visit, the ocean itself is worth that moment that you feel small in a universe that is so big, but this hotel is a blissful peaceful oasis that really makes the whole experience mean so, so much more! Vilano Beach Holiday Inn Express —— we will be back! ♥️

The best Holiday Inn Express we've ever stayed at. This hotel is absolutely amazing and it all starts at the top. From the owner was on site and very friendly and involved in the day to day operations. Michael the general manager who was very helpful with questions and reservations prior to our arrival. Korey and Austin at the front desk were amazing and Patrick in the breakfast area was so friendly. We had fabulous room with an amazing view. I would give this hotel 10 🌟

We had so much fun during our stay here! We loved the heated pool and relaxing/taking photos outside in the lounge area!!! Our room was an amazing suite with a private bedroom!! Plenty of space for all of us girls. The hotel staff is so friendly and accommodating!! We were a 3 minute walk to our boat tour from the vilano pier. We had beautiful views of the sunset from our balcony. Going to recommend all of our friends to stay here!!

Just returned from St. Augustine and had to comment about this hotel. The thing I noticed most was that the staff was happy and really seemed to want to make us happy. We were a tour group and most of the time don't always feel like we're welcomed. Breakfast is a great event with everything you could possibly want plus fresh fruit delivered to your table! The management team couldn't be more accommodating. This hotel should be rated 5 stars re

This hotel was fantastic! Far exceeded my expectations for a Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and had a massive balcony. It was lovely to sit outside at night and watch the sun set. The gentleman who runs the breakfast was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. He even came around offering fresh fruit on a tray. The breakfast was better than your average free breakfast. I would 100% stay here again, especially with their additional of a diner and coffee shop that open soon.
