Food was good, walked from hotel to get some eggs benedict and they were tasty. A nice surprise was a free slice of pie, wasn't aware of that and the pie we had was good. The issue I have is the inside needs some work, immediate attention is needed on the drop ceiling and the air vents, probably the filthiest ceiling I have ever seen in a restaurant, and that air is being circulated in the restaurant.

Great service here. Very attentive waitress. Food was brought quickly 😋. Tha best double cheese burger. 2 quarter pound patties cooked to order. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions and thousand island dressing. American cheese, bacon and onion rings make this a delicious and very large burger. Topped off with a side of fries. Don't forget the pie for dessert. I had the triple berry but they have many choices.

All you can eat Fish Friday is so good. Amazing and friendly staff. The fish comes out so hot and so good. And excellent price. Definitely worth trying if you like fish. Just ask for a reorder when the bring your fish out each time and it will come out just as you finish. Maybe I'm lucky but the timing was perfect. Definitely worth it. And it's a great price for an all you can eat. Yummmm

Myself and a friend dined here this morning 08/19/2021 for breakfast! I ordered the 3-3-3 Breakfast: Three Eggs, Three slices of French Toast and Three sausage links with a side order of Grits and a coffee. Lisa our waitress, was very accommodating and friendly. Our orders were prepared quickly and all food items were prepared perfectly! Lisa checked in on us and kept our coffee's full. Great service and food experience. Highly Recommend!

It had been many years since I was in the area where there was a Village Inn so I was not going to miss the opportunity to stop while passing through. As with the last time I was here the food and service was outstanding. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive to our requests. She took our order and in no time returned with our meal. I had the ultimate breakfast skillet and it was very filling. Definitely a good choice. There is truly something for everyone here and all priced reasonably. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Village Inn.

Had a great visit! The woman behind the counter was so nice. She gave my friend and I a flower for Mother's Day! ❤️ She also came out after we left to make sure we were okay and told my husband and kids a story about Jamaica. Sweetest woman ever! The food was good and service was great too. Will definitely be back when we are visiting again.

Absolutely top notch down home diner! Everyone seemed to know each other. They were fairly busy, more of a locals place. The "country music star" omelet was one of the best omelets I've ever had! No kidding. Pretty easy on the pocketbook too. Very friendly service from everyone. Great place!

We absolutely loved everything. The food is tasty and portions are big enough for a very hungry person. I would eat here at anytime forsure. Linh service(our server) was top. Not just her genuine willing to do her job but her smile made us feel like royalty. Prices are super fair. Parking available on-site. Take quarters if you have small kids for the claw machine. Bathrooms were impeccable.

Impressed!! With everything! Fun decorations, many being signs with 'feel good' sayings. Fantastic menu made it hard to decide, which is a good thing. 😉 Hostess was warm and friendly, server was definitely on her game! Great place! Really good food!

Absolutely my new favorite restaurant. If you want the best turkey dinner that you've ever had, better than what you get at Thanksgiving then this is the place. Fresh carved turkey breast, stuffing , gravy, mashed potatoes and a biscuit with cranberry sauce.. , it's unbelievable!! I also highly recommend the fish and chips. They use amazing fresh cod that's got a crunchy batter with the best sweet coleslaw. Also they have an amazing cheese burger cooked just the way you like it with nice hot fries. And on Wednesdays you can't beat the fresh fruit or cream pies that are free with every entree. This is absolutely my favorite go-to place. Don't forget the breakfast, I've had it there twice it's absolutely the best old fashion breakfast. amazing French toast.!!

I got the bacon and eggs. The food was good. My memorable experience was Toby the hostess. It might be spelt different, I didn't get a good look at her name tag but man, was she a character. I'd go back just to see her again. Also, it was brunch rush on a Sunday and I was sat in less than 15 minutes so that's a huge plus.

Went here for the first time with My Wife and step Daughters. I decided to have the 2-2-2 breakfast, which comes with two pancakes, two eyes, and either two strips of bacon or two sausage links, and it was very good. Our waitress was friendly and got Our order correct. We will return here in the future.

We have been here many times its always a great change from the burger places and seafood restaurants. You can count on the waitress giving you the best service over any restaurants around town. Breakfast all day and full southern style dinners with great biscuits! Sometimes you forget about the Village Inn because its on the tourist side of town but its worth the time and drive to eat here. Now the best part of the Village Inn is the huge quanity of homemade pies. Peanut butter to key lime to pumpkin they have many to choose from, by the slice or whole pie. ($5.95 to $15.00) well worth it. Holiday orders must be made early they said some holidays they make 5000 pies to fill orders. Order out or dine in, older building but its always clean inside. They do have a large seating room for larger groups.

Arrived with a party of 5 about almost at closing on a busy Saturday night and was welcomed graciously. The waitress Amy was amazing!!! She provided great suggestions and was promo putting in our order and bringing the food. Amy checked on us periodically and made the dining experience a very pleasant one! The food was good. We had the Double Cheeseburger, Turkey Club, and the Breakfast Bowl. Must try the Onion Rings!

Had a huge breakfast served by Dionne and the service was top notch. We were in town for a long weekend, but the folks at VI made us feel right at home...We will definitely visit every time we are in St. Augustine!

We were passing through on our way home 🇨🇦 and stopped in for breakfast based on other reviews. Great service! Food was served quickly and hot, veggie skillet and pancakes, coffee was hot and 👍🏻on the blend. If we happen through St. Augustine we’ll definitely stop by again.

The food was all real good. The wait wasnt bad. The only was i think they put us in the construction zone. Walls were getting plastered, trim work was down, and the back door by us looked like a construction door. But most important stuff the food and waitress were all good, plus they serve breakfast all day!

We met local friends here for brunch. Excellent service and food. I had a Denver omelet with ham cheese and veggies in it. My husband got a ham and cheese omelet. I'm not sure what was different. Both came with buttery hash browns and a choice of toast or pancakes. We both got the toast. Nice experience!

It’s sad I’ve been coming to VI for over 15 years now, this is by far the absolute worst, I will never come back and that’s sad, what was once a hidden crown jewel of St.Augustine has now become a rusted out wash board waiting to be replaced or completely gone. I’ve never had such horrible table side service from anyone who had worked there now or prior, the food was ok, everything looked and tasted like it was microwaved, the French toast was SOAKED in butter, the waitress was just stand-offish, the other waitress had no care in the world, my son had spilt my glass of tea and I had to walk to someone just to get napkins, then had to wait even longer just for my food to get there an ask for a refill. Just all around a horrible experience, and I’ve never had that at the VI, the amount of repair needed the mold on the walls, the overall structure of the building I’m surprised it hasn’t been shut down already. If I could leave negative stars about this place I would. I will say the one redeeming thing was the hostess she was absolutely amazing she reminded me so much (rest her soul) of Ms. Barbara, but sadly at the end of the day I will not be coming back, while the outside looks nice, the inside is not great and the service is even worse and the food is now subpar with no love put in to it like it use to have. What once was a thriving, happy place where memories where made is now a place that will only serve as a memory for me and my family.
