Service was so slow and they were not even busy. We came at 3pm on a Saturday. The 3 tables seated after us received their food before ours. One table in particular seated right next to us spent the whole time chit chatting with the manager who despite the fact that we were in such close proximity and our server came by 4x telling us our food is next, the manager chose to ignore us and not even acknowledge that we have been waiting for our food for 45 minutes which was the lenghth of time she spent chatting with that table. When our food finally came, it was cold and dry. Also, our utensils and plates were dirty with stains on them which was so disgusting. Very disappointed with this local place, there are lots of really good seafood places in St Augustine dont waste your time here.

Highly highly recommend this jewel. Glad we found this restaurant for supper tonight. We sat outside on the patio and the breeze from the river was so nice with the live music. The calamari was so good along with the goat cheese, oysters, and tuna nachos. The selection on our table ranged from seafood to steak to a burger. Everything was 10/10. The fried scallops was some of the best scallops I have had in a long time. The service was 10/10 I mean on point with refills and friendly staff. Food also came out very fast to be busy. The only downfall we had was a steak was cooked on the medium to well side instead of rare. The manager came over and apologized and fixed the issue. We will definitely be back for the great service and food.

Luckily we found this place and decided to eat there. This place is a beauty. Loved those surroundings of tress, plants, boats and water. I must say I loved my poke bowl, the best I had, tuna was so dam fresh and good, we also had catch of the day, rice wasn’t good though, kids enjoyed their shrimps and chips. Sushi was also refreshing. It was really good food so plz if you are there don’t miss it.

The best seafood boil my boyfriend and I have ever had hands down! I absolutely loved the shrimp and grits. It was a huge portion and very filling. We also got Conch fritters as an appetizer, they were very fresh and light. They came with 6 fritters, about the size of ping pong balls. Our server was Mason. He was very attentive and nice. We will most definitely be back, but with our families!

Nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating is nice-however we sat in because of the heat. We arrived at 4 when they first opened so got seated right away. By 4:30-5:00 it was getting pretty busy. The parking lot right in front of the restaurant is tiny. But there seemed to be plenty in the other two lots right nearby, it isn't a far walk. Waitress was right on time for everything and very pleasant. Food was great. My husband had the Redfish special and said it was cooked perfect. I had the fish sandwich which was also good. They also bring out a small warm loaf of bread.

Staff is accommodating and was very helpful in serving my party. The location is a little hidden but the view by the river and outside was really nice! Food was good, although I ordered a California Roll and I don't think I got a California Roll which was disappointing. Overall a nice and scenic experience!

1st visit Super Fresh and Friendly 😍 stopped for a quick sip and a nibble before I make dinner. The service was extremely attentive and atmosphere was a hidden beach gem💯 The food came out quickly and delicious 😋 perfect beginning to the night! #FOF A+

It was a 30-minute wait to be seated. There is a garden area and ocean view to wait to be called. They have indoor/outdoor seating. The views are beautiful no matter where you sit as they have floor to ceiling windows in most of the restaurant. The portions are filling, and the flavors are worth the wait. Everyone was friendly, and the waiter was very insightful on the menu. If you are in the area, day or night, it's definitely worth stopping for a bite and drink, the bar has various options.

OMG! This place is off da hook! Great food, great and friendly service and staff, great ambiance! Highly, Highly, Highly recommended! If you miss this place, you’re only hurting your life experiences! The KeyTinini was great too! I had the grilled mahi-mahi and the boss had the Captain’s Plattter. The batter is light and delicious in itself.

The food is really good, and the portions are very good for the price. Service fast, and he always checks on us. The atmosphere is awesome. We definitely recommend it.

I made the decision to have my welcome party at their upstairs banquet room for 125 people and to say it went perfect is an understatement. Sheri was fantastic to work with! She understood our budget and alerted us promptly if we wanted to up the bar tab for our guests when we hit our “limit”. I was too busy mingling that I didn’t get a chance to have any food but my guests couldn’t stop raving about the bacon wrapped scallops we had passed. It was alittle warm but it was on the second floor in August in Florida so not their fault lol. It was also VERY spacious, I never felt crowded with 125 people plus the patio was a huge bonus. Would highly recommend anyone use Kingfish grill for their event/dinner!! Thank you!

The answer is yes, love this place. Came here once a few years back to have dinner with my mom after a nice wine and boat tour right next door and they give you a small discount for coming to this restaurant after. Place is adorable, and fun. Live music, good food, on the water... who can really complain... paradise. On the business side of things I am an event coordinator for an awesome company...we host seminars all over Northeast FL and I had to give this place a try. They have an amazing private dinning room area, awesome view of the harbor. Sheri & Danielle take care of the private dining, work on the bar downstairs too during the week. The staff are easy to work with & just nice. (Seems to be hard to find these days). Never a stress and works with you on whatever you need. The place is heaven. Go check it out and request them lol! We love this place. It's not that we found it looking for a seafood place to eat, we found it by visiting a facility we're taking a fishing trip with. We seen so many people going into Kingfish Grill, we decided to visit to see what was what. The menu and the atmosphere set the tone. The food was delicious and we plan to bring our families here when they come to visit. Great job Kingfish Grill, you have two customers for life!!

Surf and turf sushi roll was delicious. The New England Seafood Chowder was so good I had a bowl for dessert. Chef Luke was a gracious host.

Good mix of local and tourists. This is one of those hidden little gems and I'm betting the locals probably have mixed feelings about it becoming more popular. Great location and the food was really good. Very nice and attentive wait staff. Will be going back again.

Excellent service! And friendly! I had the scallops, grilled. Green beans and rice. We were in a hurry, to make our boat tour near by, and we need not worry. The timing was perfect. Lunch and then boat tour. Iced tea, not sweetened was excellent. Eating outside by the water was great!

Well, I have to say the ribs and the calamari were exceptional! And the location and atmosphere was all you could hope for in St. Augustine. Our server was a very attentive and nice girl. Unfortunately, that’s where the good part ended. The fried shrimp were mediocre at best, the fried scallops were not good and the fried Mahi Mahi chunks tasted about three weeks old… couldn’t get past the first bite. Left them on the plate. Such a shame to waste a great location and nice staff by serving mediocre seafood. This isn’t what I would call a seafood restaurant. Anyone can fry up frozen stuff. Every place can’t be good I guess. Even the cornbread was awful 😞. Won’t be going back.

Good location! Laid back atmosphere. We walked right in with a large party. Outdoor seating with beautiful landscaping, decor, and views of the boats and water. The food was excellent! Fried goat cheese app is fantastic. Swordfish, Mahi with thai-chili sauce, raw oysters, crab legs, were all fresh and well prepared. We had a birthday and they made an ice cream sandwich cake for the birthday girl and gave ice cream sandwiches to all the kids. Servers were also great.
