In a nook right in downtown St Augustine is a treasure. Quiet inside dining experience where it seems many locals go. Michael’s is just that. Prices are not for the faith of heart. But neither is the delicious food. Not an extensive menu for food, but incredible for wine. We had a lovely Spanish wine with a beautiful porterhouse, medium rare and perfectly cooked. The potatoes were simple and tasty. The house salad is perfect size and the dressing made in house so light, not vinegary, perfect. The charcuterie board as the appetizer very good with lots of flavors to temp and try. We got bananas foster but I wish I had tried the chocolate tart. Champagne toast to start the meal was a lovely touch. Perfect for date night for a very special someone.

My wife and I had dinner at Michael's for our anniversary and what a meal it was! I can't say enough for the food, the service, and the ambiance. Beautiful interior with comfortable "sofa" seating. Our server, Oliver, was extremely attentive and informative making our first visit welcoming and providing us with the necessary information to make the best menu choices. Located Downtown, you do need to find parking and walk over to the restaurant through the wonderful streets of St. Augustine. The Red Pomegranate Sangria was incredibly delicious and complex, perfectly balanced, and quite strong. We learned the sangria is made from whatever bottles of wine have been opened previously for several days and may contain some of their pricier selections. If you love wine, this is the place for you. The wine list is quite extensive. Beers are only in bottles or cans, but they offer a wide variety of local selections. Frankly, I'd suggest the Sangria. They offer a "Date Night Experience" for only $200 (for two) which includes three appetizers, an amazing tomahawk marinade aged ribeye, and one dessert. Because it was our anniversary, they actually gave us two desserts. The appetizers were the bread, the shrimp, and the camembert. All were incredibly flavorful and delicious. But the tomahawk...what exceptional flavor and tenderness, and the meat on the bone so satisfying to tear off with your teeth! Propriety be damned, I got my face dirty on this one and do not care. Huge portion that we were able to take at least half home for additional meals. Comes with a bowl of vegetables including a superb layered scalloped potato piece that was crunchy on the outside and tender within. For additional we chose the mushroom "crust" which was a cacophony of large mushrooms smothering the meat and making for an exciting accompaniment. We took the desserts home and ate them later, a Dark Chocolate Tort and Tres Leches both decadent and delicious. From the presentation of the food, the table cleanups by whoever happened to walk by and see the need while our server took care of another table, water refills, and general friendliness, the experience was definitely elevated all around. I don't think we'll wait until our next anniversary before we return for another go at that delightful menu! Pro Tips: There is an outside garden seating area that is first come first serve. We ate inside but it looked very nice if you enjoy outside dining. Let them know if you have any special dietary needs and they will bend over backwards to accommodate! The owner is opening two more restaurants, another downtown and seafood restaurant at a hotel by Vilano Beach! Can't wait to try those as well.

Saying that this place is good is not justice enough. We eat here by luck. We were just walking down the street, and we saw the place how cute it was, and that it was a steak house. So we decided to go in without checking any reviews. The first thing that impacted us was how attentive and nice the host was. She went above and beyond to get us a table ready. We were seated in the patio because we were dinning with out big dog. Then the server was super attentive, and knowledgeable. He explained everything to perfect, and made some really good recommendations. Now, for the most important thing. The food was out of this world. What amazing taste. We had the Montaditos, and a goat cheese for appetizers. For the main event we had a Ribeye and a Filet Mignon. Both were cooked to perfection and amazing taste. I did something that I haven’t done before. I saved this place as favorite in Google Maps, so if I ever come back, I remember to visit them again.

Arguably one of the very best meals I've had in my life! Our service was on point, the diversity of the chef's tasting menu delighted us with each new course. Having the chef deliver each course was an unexpected treat! Her culinary and art training were obvious on every plate. The wine pairings were spot on too. Expensive, but oh-so-worth-it.

This is unmistakably one of if not, the best restaurants in the St. Augustine area. We were immediately taken in by the decor, ambiance, and friendly greetings extended. We opted to order their two-person special for the evening which consisted of charcuterie, salad, Tomahawk Steak, two sides, and dessert for two. Each was exceptionally plated and absolutely flavorful. Our steak was cooked to perfection. Servings were generous. Our servers were dutifully attentive and friendly for the entire experience. For us, it was indeed an exceptionally delightful experience.

Michael’s restaurant was a good choice for our dinner when we went for our girls trip at St. Agustine. The restaurant was so cute, we sat outdoor and the temperature was perfect in February. Our server was knowledgeable with the menu and always made sure our table was taking care off. Each of the food that we ordered was so good and they tasted so fresh and meet our foodie taste bud. Great food, nice place, nice experience. You got our vote Michael’s!

If you're looking for a romantic, upscale restaurant for the perfect celebration dinner, then look no further! The steak was the absolute best steak I have ever had! The homemade, gourmet butters, truffle fries and the poached shrimp was divine!

This place was amazing! The food was delicious, atmosphere on point and service top notch. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a really nice night out. I had the beef Wellington and it was mouth watering. My husband had the salmon dish and it was soooo good. The wine list was like no other. Our server was above any expectations. We will definitely be back!

Dinner for 5 during a family rendezvous in St. Augustine to celebrate Father's day. Always enjoy a good steakhouse and try to stay away from the chains when possible. 7:00 reservation and was seated promptly. Michael's was known as the "Tasting Room" in a prior life so the wine selection was vast. With that said I was surprised to learn that they served beer and wine only. Appetizers and salads were tasty and served promply. We all had steaks ranging from ribeye and wague to fillet and wellington. I enjoy my steak char-medium and was bit dissopointed that they did not prepare my steak "charred" as requested and confirmed. My daughter likes her steak "black and blue" and did not get her steak as requested either. The Wellington was a hit, but the wague was a bit stringy and tough. The sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes were plentiful and well prepared. Desserts of a chocolate torte and bananas foster were shared with the table. The bananas foster was no more than banana cake with various fresh fruit. The coffee was fresh and hot. The service was a bit to rigid for an upscale steakhouse. Our server was outspoken and direct as she reminded me of my elementary school cafeteria lady. The decor is dark and, along with the atmosphere, were both eclectic. All in all it was just "OK" . I will try other area steakhouses next time in St. Augustine.

The Chef’s dinner was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We were blown away by every single dish, and the wine pairing was perfect. I wish I could eat here every day, seriously… it’s that good. You have to come check it out!

Hubby and I had a reservation for our anniversary, it was our first time coming here. The service from the moment my partner and I entered the door was amazing. Our servers were incredible and the kindest. The service quality, the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant were everything you could ever ask for! Words are not enough to describe it. This place is insanely beautiful. We ended up skipping dessert because we were so stuffed from our entrée, and we regret not trying it but when we come back again, dessert will definitely be on the plate. Highly recommend coming here. 100/10!

I chose the cod fish. It was wonderful. It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. All of it perfectly cooked and nicely presented. I felt that the meal was well priced. I chose the cheese cake for dessert and was perfectly satisfied with it. The ambience was quite pleasant and the sound level was quite comfortable. I have to say, my wife and I enjoyed our evening at Michaels very, very much. I truly am looking forward to a return visit one day...

12/10. There is no way my time could’ve been any better. They treated me so kindly. I was dining alone and I came here from a recommendation and was not disappointed at all! Amy and Christian were both divine, amazing service, and the food was even better. They’re able to work with filo dough?!? Amazing. I had a lobster tail & the beef Wellington, absolutely amazing. I wish I could tell everyone how great they are x10. From the host to me leaving, happy happy happy!

There's no pulling punches, Michael's is incredible. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top notch and friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful. The best pork chop is hands down I've ever had in my entire life. Everyone loved their apps, entrees, and desserts.

The mushrooms were 10 out of 10! The shrimp had a unique flavor profile that the whole table loved! The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was also spectacular! We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious, the service was wonderful - we had Sean who was friendly, helpful and very professional. St Augustine was a pitstop on our honeymoon roadtrip and we'd happily come back here for a meal. Dessert was to die for 🤤

Quaint location historic downtown. Great food. The beef Wellington special was tasty. The sweet plantain wrapped in prociutto with datil guava sauce was bursting with flavor. Our server was a bit opinionated and pushy. I gotta give it to her; at least she admitted it😊 Did not disappoint. Would definitely return.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! The wine list is amazing and the food is superb. My steak was perfectly cooked. Great wait staff. The location is perfect as well, right in the middle of town. Parking is a challenge-I took an Uber. Reservations are a good idea.

This dinner was an amazing experience. Everything we order was a delightful nothing disappointed. We went as a family but is such a romantic atmosphere that Ill come back but just with my husband.. Our server was Amy she was such a sweetheart, was great talking to her about our root and our beautiful Puerto Rico, and to know that the owner was raised in PR and that the fusion of his flavors in each dish as that Puertorican Flavor was the cherry on the top.

Delicious food and great wine selection. It is recommended to make a reservation and ask for a place on the courtyard. The courtyard has both heaters and fans.
