Nice atmosphere and good food! Glad they are open for dine-in now! We enjoyed the Korean pancake appetizer, #1 spicy pork, #5 sweet and sour crispy chicken, and shrimp with noodles!

Gaga & Hoo was enchanting. Found it on a road trip. Best surprise! 1. We weren’t sure we were going the right way, as you have to drive through a residential area to get to it. The restaurant is in a slightly past its glory days country club facility. So it was a little quirky even on approach. 2. We arrived right at 11 AM, and it was deserted and the main dining room lights were off. It was like walking onto a movie set. The owner was in the kitchen and told us to sit wherever we wanted. He was lovely and told us about his son, who is currently a university student, and he is clearly proud of him. 3. My husband ordered tea, and it came in an awesome Death Star teapot/teacup set. 4. Most importantly, this was THE MOST DELICIOUS KOREAN FOOD I have ever eaten outside of Korea. It was so fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I lived in Seoul many years ago, and dangus! This food was outstanding. 5. Great value for the money. It was not very expensive. 6. I would say that this is one of the best restaurants in the entire state of Iowa. A hidden gem, and I would look for reasons to head back out that way to eat there again.

Exceptional food as always! The atmosphere is also lovely. The owner used to serenade the guests, though we haven't seen that in a bit. Pictured is the Bossam(Boiled pork wraps), Je-yuk-bokkeum (Spicy Stir-fried Pork), and the Bibimbap. The kimchi is also very delicious!

We went on Good Friday so it wasn't real busy at the time we went which was around 5:30 pm. Very friendly staff... Had the shrimp and vegetable Stir fry. A tad sweet but, it was so good.. Had a couple drinks. Overall not bad on prices.. Oh, They even had one of those robot servers... It was pretty cool to see... No it didn't serve us...😊 Will definitely go back again..

Everything about this restaurant is fabulous! The vibe, food, owners and now they've added a robot server to make it even more unique. :) Doesn't' feel like you're in Iowa anymore so we are beyond fortunate to have this place in Fort Dodge!

Absolutely phenomenal food. Great service, live music and attentive staff. Far exceeded expectations, wish I had time to return again before leaving town. The spicy pork dish was amazingly flavorful and spicy, adequate portion. LOVED IT

Googled places in Fort Dodge on our way to MN. Wondered if we were going the right way but google was correct. Everything was excellent! Ginger tea was great, noodle with shrimp was so tasty with the perfect seasonings and the dumplings were the best we’ve ever had. All three patrons give this place 5 stars!!!

This venue nailed the lighting and music. They clearly care, and have a very rare talent called 'Imagination' which was a grand surprise. The giant TV took you on an adventure through Korea. The robot server and my human server both had awesome manners and personalities (Thought very different of course.) And the food was decadent. In addition, we were gifted Korean Pickles and Cabbage Kimchi, another fantastic surprise going beyond what was expected. It's become my favorite place to take out of town guests, as you can feel a soul resides in this establishment. I have heard stories besides just mine about thier hospitality. I will visit again, and often. I also did recon around the space, much knowledge to be read on the walls.. and they definitly added pinches of Korea around with plants and gardening gear. All folded neatly of course. I felt zen, I ate great flavors, and my brain was engaged. 10 outta 10.

Excellent bibimbap! Get it in the stone bowl. My kids got the stir-fried noodles with veggies, and my picky dad who typically only eats at American restaurants got the breaded pork and was happy. So there is something for everyone!

I went here to hangout with some of my friends, and we all absolutely loved this place! The staff was so friendly and made sure everything was good. The food is so delicious!! One of the workers was so fun to talk to, despite a slight language barrier we were all happy to make a connection. I will definitely be coming back here with my mom this summer💕! I recommend this place, whether you’re going by yourself or with others it’s a warm and welcoming environment. (All the decorations are so pretty aswell!!)

We have a great experience with great food and even live music. Our waitress, Nicole, was rushing us even though it was slow. (For example, taking our tip before we were ready to leave, it was 6 pm). But I must not let a bad apple taint this amazing orchard.

My husband and I are from WI and were visiting the Grotto of the Redemption. I found this wonderful gem online and had my husband drive 50 minutes from our hotel so we could eat there. I love Korean food, and had eaten a lot of it in Koreatown in LA when I lived there. The food was delicious and the service personable! My husband and I agreed it was worth the drive...Thank you Number One and Young for a memorable evening!

Every once in a great while, you get an urge to use the word "serendipity". Gaga & Hoo is that place! As newcomers to Fort Dodge, my wife and I were google-searching for an Asian restaurant in town which we figured was a long shot. Much to her surprise, my wife found Gaga & Hoo, a Korean restaurant, located less than 10 minutes away from downtown Fort Dodge! She hurriedly called and made a dinner reservation. A few more surprises were to be encountered including: its location (a country club - nothing like what you might think... in a positive way), the owners (soft-spoken but very polite and hospitable) - lady of the house is the owner/greeter and husband is the owner/chef who also sings the 70's folk songs and plays guitar in-between preparing dishes & greeting guests, and finally the food! The menu is limited for obvious reasons; however, what they do serve are authentically Korean and amazingly delectable. We have been frequenting Gaga & Hoo just about once a week for the past 3 - 4 months. We have our favorites, but every dish we have tried has been delightful. For you steak lovers, they also serve Ribeye and Filet Mignon - try either one without asking for any specific temperature (leave it to the chef!). One word of caution - soup (stew) dishes which happen to be my personal favorites can be very hot & spicy. Give them a try - you will be pleasantly surprised!

From Chicago on a business trip. Awesome food and hospitality from the owners! Me and my colleague enjoyed a long conversation of the owner (chef) and his wife. One of the best spots Please check it out

The food was great, flavorful and well portioned. The selection limited and the prices were reasonable to the portions. The reason for low review is very poor service. One waitress covering entire restaurant was, is, too big a task. We got 1/2 of our order then 15min later the other half. Then waited 30 min for a check after finishing meal. The service is a big deal and makes me very reluctant to return for in person service.

Everything about our experience was awesome. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and the owner was the best host. It’s a fantastic change of pace from normal fort dodge restaurants. If you haven’t been there you should treat yourself. Can’t wait to go again.
