Haven’t been to fat boys for a while but today I’m super glad I came. It’s a busy Sunday but I was in in under five minutes. Server came took my order and suddenly remembered how fast they can serve up your food here. Certainly under 10 minutes. I ordered the bronco buster and did it ever bust my Hunger. Not even close to finishing at all. Only thing I wish is they would update their Decour because it looks like it’s from the 70s maybe a remodel of some sort but perhaps that’s the lore for the locals. We Jeep and we eat. After a trail ride down three lakes we decided to have a late lunch at fat boys. I have been going to fat boys since the 70s when there was one up on Highway 50. Always satisfied and the portions are generous. The photo is the feast for two. More than enough for the two of us to eat, the ribs were good, the corn was good, I love the baked beans and the thick toast. Our host was pleasant and helpful and she kept the sweet teas full. Tried them for dine in lunch for the first time. It was a bit awkward at first because I stood up front noting there was a wait to be seated podium. After a while the person at the register up front told me to wait closer to the podium so someone else would seat me. I ordered unsweet tea and the rib combo with sliced beef to go with it, slaw, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. I also got a side order of the okra to try. I enjoyed the tea and all sides. The meat was ok. Overall, the style reminded me of the chain, Sonny's barbecue. Not bad for a decent meal, but it was not my favorite.

Fat Boy's Bar-B-Q St. Cloud From the outside the building is dated, but well maintained. The décor inside accompanies the same theme as you walk throughout the restaurant. It kinda takes you back to the 80’s with a rustic, country atmosphere. The large dining room was filled with locals that were pleasant to engage in conversation with. My server, Angie, was very friendly and proficient and kept our sweet tea flowing. I enjoyed the salad bar where I was required to wear a disposable gloves that were provided by the restaurant. For my entrée I chose the ribs with French fries, baked beans, and garlic bread. The ribs were pretty darn good, and the fries were hot, the baked beans were unpleasantly mushy, the garlic bread resembled more of that of breakfast toast as it lacked any flavor of garlic. As you can see in my photos, I returned for breakfast, it was perfect! Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. Honestly, the service was pretty impeccable.

Not a fan. The chicken was very dry and the garlic bread tasted like mildly buttered toast. The fries were ok. I liked the mac and cheese, but I've seen costco samples that were bigger. But I went with a group and they all liked their food. And the service was great, that's why it's not a 2 star

This place is very good for some good home style BBQ. I always get the feast for 4. It has enough food for everyone. Staff is always friendly the lady even walked my order outside because I went back to the car after ordering take out. Nice restaurant, try it when you're in that area.

First time I’ve ever been here. I got breakfast which was one of the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. everyone there was friendly, food came out hot and fast.

We look forward to coming here every Friday night to end our week. We will either take out or dine in. Food is always amazing BUT the service is by far why we love it here so much. ESPECIALLY Hannah. She always treats my husband and I like family. We look forward to seeing her friendly smiling face all week.
