The hotel is quaint with very helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms are suited to a place that was built a 100 years ago. That’s the beauty and charm. A very different experience from the regular chain of hotels. Naomi and her staff make the stay a wonderful experience. Katrina rocks. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

The staff was fantastic however…..tv required an engineering degree, coffee pots had been removed from all rooms and the BEST part was the fact there is no heat in the building and it was the coldest it had been in decades. While a space heater was provided, we spent the night completely covered, including our heads, with blankets that felt more like furniture blankets than the True bedding blankets. We were thankful to wake up early and check out. That along with the fact that you can hear anything and everything int he hallway was enough for me to decide this was NOT the place for us. It’s quaint, has a great location with many amenities nearby with fantastic staff but it was not the restful night I had hoped for.

Katrina at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive when I told her the hotel charged the wrong credit card. I called back hoping to talk to someone else and Katrina doubled down on her rudeness.

Quaint little local hotel in St Cloud. Not a bad option if you are staying for a couple days. The hotel is 100 yrs old but has all the things you need to be comfy. The bed feels a bit lower quality, but it’s acceptable. To add the TV was out all night. So again nice place to put your head down.

Had reservations made for our anniversary, wanted so much to stay in an old hotel and not a franchise one. When we first arrived thinking we will go to the cozy little bar and have a drink before we went upstairs to unpack, —sat there for some time—no one addressed us that the bar was close, until finally a someone came up to us and told us the bar was closed. Once up stairs and in the process of unpacking. Thought —oh my what did we get into—- Horrible. All the good reviews I had been seeing—- we must of gotten the rotten egg one! The toilet paper roll was way in the back that hung up the wall in back of the toilet—Bumped my arm on the end of the sink every time I reached for some. When ready to take my shower and pulled back the curtain saw there was a missing water knob to the tub/shower-so could not turn on the water,—- thought ok for 2 nights we’d wash at the sink, —-no hot water. During the night the air condition was so loud we were not able to sleep. We decided to use the fan above the bed, My husband got up went looking to pull the chain, that was so short even a giant could not have reached it., He then pulled over the desk chair that was on wheels and I held it against the bed in order so it would not move and he’d fall (((very dangerous))) finally got the fan turned on. My husband also noticed the toilet was never fastened to the floor — thankful we didn’t see any leaks while there. Yes someone did tell us they would be up to address these negative issues once we made them known to housekeeping —-but that was not negotiable —-all that should of been tended to before they rented out that particular room. How could a hotel rent a room with No knob to turn on water in the tub — then on top NO hot water. The chain on the fan in the room, was dangerously too short to turn on. —Later when coming back to the hotel the the elevator was not working had to get the firemen back twice to fix it -mean while I had to walk the steps being in my 80’s with a bad hip was not what I thought I should be doing. When we were leaving I gave the receptionist a listing the problems we had while staying there, had asked her to see the manger saw it. with no response decided to write one again this time sending it in the mail. Again regarding the poor condition of the room—with no answer as of yet. I’m sure they at the time would of offered us another room, but we were there and all unpacked and settled in —why move if they would of just been aware of the problems before even renting the room, We can not give this Hotel a good review, —-our anniversary of 62 yrs was a big time disappointment. what a shame, when looking so forward to being there on our special time.

This place is more than I was expecting as I usually stain at big chains and the only hotel that was available near by was this one. It’s beautiful and in an old Americana style, room was clean (it look old but we’ll furnished and no funny smells) overall it was a great stay

Very cute older motel updated with character. I needed to stay in St. Cloud for a funeral and this motel was perfect location. Great Coffee store next door and food & drinks on other side. Excellent staff at front desk. I will stay again, just wish pillows where a better.

I recently found myself with a need for housing after living in the St. Cloud area for 10 years. No rental homes were available yet because this place is growing fast! I have stayed here at the Hunter Arms one full week, and it's been a very comfortable stay. I'll be back for another 10 days after a short beach weekend, only about 50 miles to the east in Coco Beach. This building was built in 1926, so obviously, it's a very old building but fairly well updated. As good a possible. The beds are comfortable, the linens are nice, showers are hot, and they have a refrigerator in rooms, nice TVs. There are multiple great restaurants and bars in walking distance, not to mention that quaint little downtown St. Cloud has lots of boutiques and shops to explore. I've been cooking on the grills at the lakeshore park located about a mile north for fun. Beautiful park. Also, this place is not too far from Orlando and surrounding attractions. Overall, the hotel is pretty cool. I absolutely love the wonderful managers and staff! I am greeted with every passing and feel very welcome here. The cost has been reasonable and meets my budget for an easy place, not too expensive to hold over at. I've loved the architecture of the hotel and the ease of getting around town. I am looking forward to my stay next week and any future trips to St Cloud!
