If you are in the area don’t lose the chance to have this Mexican Food tour. La Casita Restaurant Is definitely one of the places in town with a huge variety in their Food Menu. You name it and they will bring you a deliciously and traditionally made Mexican meals. The dishes are generous well served and all of it is delicious. The place is spotlessly clean with an excellent atmosphere. Friendly Personnel and fear prices. Don’t miss this place! Well done, A+

Being from the south and here on business my coworker and I wanted some mexican for dinner yesterday. I saw La Casita had a good rating and we chose to go there. Its very open and has plenty of seating. I will say the salsa was by far probably the worst salsa I've ever had. I'm not sure if thats a northern thing but what seemed to be diced carrots in the salsa just isnt a thing down south. The chori pollo was amazing and definitely a larger portion than I'm used to. It came with the cheese enchilada which is different and even that was delicious. My body was not ready for the level of spiciness from the chorizo. In years past the chorizo has never been that spicy and it in a sense shocked my body and taste buds but it was so worth it as everything was delicious. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the salsa. This is definitely a place to go to enjoy some great Mexican food.

I've only been here one other time years ago when my daughter was 3 I believe so it only seemed fitting to come again when she's 6 and my son is 3. First I love that there's fun kid slush drinks, my done got blue and was having fun with a blue tongue and my daughter got red and enjoyed the flavor. They got their kids entrees while I got mine . The food was great and definitely had a relaxing time. We arrived shortly after noon when I thought it would be way too busy but it really wasn't so bad because we got seated right away. All in all a fun experience again. Hopefully others will have as good of an experience as us.

Pollo fundido with shredded chicken and mildly spicy cream cheese sauce is tasty. Fried ice cream with cinnamon ice cream is great! They need to bring back their outside seating.

I decided to order something other than a chicken chimi today - the Mango Shrimp Tacos ! Soooooo delicious! If you ❤️ Mango & you ❤️ shrimp - you need this to make your day magnificent! Our server was so attentive and prompt - the La Casita experience was the best we've ever had. One thing - who puts carrots in salsa? As a non-carrot-beliver, it's weird. This doesn't stop me from coming back - the rest of the food is worth overlooking this carrot salsa weirdness. 😁

Very cool restaurant. The food was a little dry but the atmosphere made up for it.

It's a well-kept secret, but the Lunch Specials at La Casita extend into Saturday. (11 am to 2 pm) We arrived almost exactly at noon and were seated immediately. The complimentary chips were fresh and crispy, the salsa was sublime, and the portions were excellent. The prices were more than reasonable, especially the burritos and chimichangas! There was a smile on the face of every staff member we encountered. By the time we left - the parking lot was three times fuller than when we arrived. The next time you are in Waite Park and the lot at China Star Buffet is looking a little crowded, I highly recommend crossing the street to La Casita!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the St Cloud area. Food, drinks and service are always good. Stopped in today for lunch and margaritas. Everything was excellent.

Wasn't busy at the time and our first time there. Was hot outside so we were eating light with their nachos. Our son just did a dessert which he said was great. Our nachos were lacking chips and the chips served complimentary before the meal are the same, very thin so don't work well for nachos at all. Flavor was good so we may have to go back and try them again.

I had a ground beef Chimmy and fried ice cream and my wife had the taco salad. All excellent! Server was on the ball with answering our questions and refilling our drinks. The decor was colorful and everything was clean including the washroom. Two 👍👍 from us.

This is an absolute horrible place. I came all the way down from California and was extremely disappointed. I ordered a Mexicali and what I got was nothing like the description. 😡 Although I will say, the fries were magnificent. 🤤

One of my top 10 Mexican restaurants in the United States. I've never had a bad meal here. The food is authentic and flavorful. The portions are big and the value is outstanding. I was born in New Mexico, lived in Colorado, and spent many vacations in Arizona. I eat at a LOT of Mexican restaurants and La Casita is one of the best. A must try is the Prickly Pear Margarita blended, and the Fajita Salad Bowl with shrimp. Use their salsa and queso as your "dressing". It's out of this world!

I have nothing negative to say it was all good. The day I went it was pretty busy and the waiter kept checking on us making sure our drinks were good. The food came quick. Price is decent atmosphere is good. So there was nothing bad that I can think of.

Just about as authentic Mexican as you can get north of the border. Amanda at the bar made great recommendations - she won't steer you wrong. Food was delish! Atmosphere is authentic too. If you like Mexican cuisine you will love La Casita.

Great atmosphere and great food! Large portions for the price. Drinks were cheerfully refilled and the food was delivered fast and hot. An option for a spicier salsa with the chips would be nice. We didn't have room for dessert, so will have to try that next time

It was standard Mexican food. The carrots in the salsa really threw us off. We mentioned it to locals and they say they don’t like the salsa here either. Everything else was okay, your typical Mexican dishes. My husband and brother said the beef is spicy (I have a high spice tolerance so I thought it was just seasoned). We probably won’t be back namely because of the salsa.

Great food with a good atmosphere. The service here is always great but it can be a bit crowded. The restaurant has high ceilings which give it a more grand feel. Overall you will not be disappointed 😁

Sat at the bar and experienced great service, food was good, atmosphere was good and the bar tender made sure I was taken care of. I will be back next time I'm in st cloud.

La Casita is a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday! We hadn't been there in a couple of years so thought we would try it....they did not disappoint! We were able to make reservations on a Thursday night, my free birthday meal was excellent, the atmosphere is so fun, margaritas were delicious, prices were reasonable, and our waiter provided excellent customer service! We definitely will be going back in the future!
