This restaurant has incredibly rude staff, a disorganized kitchen, and a messy lobby. They let my food get cold while waiting for an order to be finished. They did not clean the lobby at all. One person there is friendly and polite, but the rest of them were definitely disengaged. The food quality is definitely not where it should be.

Walked in at 7:55. Asked for Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, was told no. When I asked why, I was told "we turn the grill off at 8:30pm and the grill was already clean. This is insanity. There is no signs up anywhere stating that if you order at X time that X may not be available due to equipment being shut off AN HOUR before the store closes (Store hours say 9 pm). I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years (restaurants specifically) and know that no one wants to "stay late", but it isn't staying late when there's an HOUR to go and you've decided that you just want to leave when the store closes. I've been to this store twice and both times, there was next to nothing ready. And that's fine, I told them (both times) that waiting for fresh food wasn't a problem, what is a problem is being told that I couldn't have a dish ...because the employees didn't feel like working. If the job is too demanding then perhaps that job isn't for you. But when that store serves food..and has set posted hours, then those who chose to work there need to honor their end of the deal.

Where do I even begin. Every time I come to this location it is literally just a disaster. You think after at least 5 times of this happening I would cut my losses. I'm not sure if it's lack of management or what is going on. The workers have no direction and always look completely lost. There is usually one poor worker trying to hold it all together mind you it's never the manager. The food if they ever have any that is also looks dried out and rarely tastes right.

Normally this place is mediocre and you pay for what you get but this last time we went, was not okay. There was 6 people working (4 on line, 2 cooking). Our greeter was very nice however he was the only good thing that came from our visit. The rest of the staff acted like they had no sense of urgency or care in the world that there were multiple people waiting for their orders and food to be cooked. The second line person had headphones in and was not attentive nor welcoming at all. The two women on the line were pleasant but again, no sense of urgency at all. There were only 2 cooks working the whole time and 4 line staff were just standing there watching and not helping.. When we finally got our order, 1/2 our food was hot and 1/2 was cold due to waiting 15 minutes for the selected food. We also got an additional order of wontons which we did not order, but thanks for the cold cream cheese (I feel bad for whoever was supposed to get these). It's pretty ridiculous that there seemed to be no manager on site or if they were, they were okay with how service was being handled. We will definitely take our money and time elsewhere.

Updating my review for vegetarians now that Panda has included Beyond Orange Chicken, which I combined with the Power Greens. The food was very good, and it's a great new entree. Very tasty! Be aware that the Beyond entree might require about a 10 min wait since they make it fresh. At the moment, their fountain drink machine is temporarily not working, so it's bottled drinks. All in all, some positive momentum!

02/26/2023 NO IDEA what happened, but this place is awful now. Used to be great at customer service. NOT TONIGHT! Went here for my older kids and myself. Was told they didn't have the plates they used to and are now serving out of BOXES. WHAT THE HELL?! MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. They will lie and tell you the "family deal" is cheaper, but I usually pay $40 for everything and today - it was $65. Not to mention that the guy serving the "boxes" of food - had NO IDEA what I was talking about or what he was doing, and they did NOT give me 2 things I asked for - after asking 3 times and asking them to MAKE SURE the items were in the bag. I should have checked myself, but I was 3 hours from home, tired and just wanted to GET HOME. I will NOT be back to this location! I was not the only one displeased and confused by their new "box" method and prices. And don't ask for a MEDIUM BOX. It's SUPER SMALL.

Hey! Previous kitchen manager here! I’m long gone and so are the cooks I trained along with all management in the entire state! The food is no longer being made properly OR safely and you should not eat here for the sake of your health. The regional manager drove away all the people who made sure you weren’t receiving a plate of food poisoning. If you insist on risking your well-being here, ask that your food be made fresh and temped in front of you. If it does not reach 165 degrees, it has not killed the cross-contaminating bacteria of the meats in that kitchen. That includes the side dishes, and even my best cooks took tons of training just to cook chow mein correctly. These guys have none of that training. Beware and take care.

I have always loved this place and while the food remains good the front end staff are just a bunch of high school college kids who don't care about you. I was told it would be a 7 minute wait for the shrimp. I said I would wait. I was told they would bring it to me. I waited 25 minutes in store before I saw other people getting it. Perhaps they forgot about me. Doubt it. Then when I asked for it they looked at me like I was lying. Barely gave it to me. Either train your staff better or get someone who cares at least 15%.

Great dinner tonight. Loved the Honey Walnut Shrimp and the new Chili Crispy Shrimp was excellent. Just the perfect amount of spice and heat.

We came in and got 2 plates and 6 cream cheese rangoons. Devon was pleasant. He offered sauces, we declined, then he insisted on sweet and sour sauce (which we did not know they had). His determination on an enjoyable experience with our food was a breath of fresh air in regards to fast food. Thank you Devon :)

I am mortified. Horrific service overall…if i could give zero stars…I would. After a long day of work, I was looking forward to having some noodles to reward myself. My friend recommended that I tried panda express and I took her advice. To only have been made to wait for 40 minutes for my food until one of the staff told me they were out of their chicken! They tried to console me with a gift card if I came back the next morning, why would i have noodles in the morning??? Anyways, I left with no food and even more hunger. Also, people who were behind me in the queue were served before I was! Highly disappointed with the staff and will not be going back again.

Sat inside to eat with my family when a parent and a kid came in. The mom asked the staff if the kid could try a piece of orange chicken to see if he liked it and the four people standing there refused so they left and said they're going to Jersey mikes instead. That refusal to do minimal work cost the restaurant $20-$30. On top of that, the aforementioned four people stood there talking about TV shows while all of the tables were dirty and no one bothered to get to them until we were getting up to leave. This is on a Sunday afternoon with 10-15 customers coming in while we were there. Bad staff for business.

We went here last night 6/20/23 and got sick!!!! I got the lo mien with the new shrimp and beef and broccoli. The lo mien and the shrimp tasted fine but the beef and broccoli had a weird flavor and sure enough a few hours later is was making a great escape. This is the second time we have gone in and been dissatisfied by this panda. The last time the servers were rude and the sections were sparse and looked old. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The customer service was horrible. My boyfriend and I went out to eat at Panda Express in St. Cloud, MN. Our date was ruined by the employee’s unfriendliness. I asked for some different sauces for my food and I was ignored 2 times. I then proceeded to ask another employee if they had any soy sauce and he pointed me back to the original worker. Once I asked for the 3rd time he grumpily grabbed the soy sauce and pushed it at me. He wouldn’t speak to me when I had a question, it was very rude. I would not go here unless the customer service improves.

Good, mediocre Chinese food. They didn't have a lot of options when I was there, but the Beyond orange chicken was surprisingly pretty good. They didn't have chopsticks or soy sauce though, which seemed odd for a Chinese restaurant. Oh well. Regardless it is a quick, easy meal that satisfied a craving for chow mein.

I went in and saw they had a single portion of orange chicken, one of the dishes I wanted. They claimed it would be at least a 4 minute wait and that I wouldn’t want what they had left. I was polite and patient. Yet right in front of me they gave the apparently “not good” portion to another lady, then when another lady walked in for double orange chicken, they told me because she paid in advance they’ll be making hers before mine once the new batch is done. They never gave me a “prepay” option, I was in the store several minutes before she paid, and yet they treated me terribly considering I’m always a good customer. They proceeded to talk down to me and did not care that I left with nothing. As someone who has worked in food service before and apparently had bosses with higher standards in the past, not one of them smiled, not one of them were friendly, and they picked favorites on customers. Unacceptable - restaurant leadership, please take notice and coach your staff or find better staff.

This is pretty good Chinese for a fast food joint! It's a bit pricey for me, but it was well worth the coupon discount price. I took my order to go, but the place looked clean & organized. Service was fast & employees were friendly.

I’m a Panda Express lover. I often go to Panda Express and I usually order a plate with half noodles, half rice, kongpao chicken and teriyaki chicken. It was my first time at this store at St. Cloud. Other stores has bigger sizes plate and food portion is a lot more than here. We had 1 and half scoop of rice and one scoop of each chicken. So compared to the price and other locations food portion is very low. They really needs to focus on their food quantity.

Food 5 stars, staff 3-4 stars, other 1 star. Last time I was here they were out of all utensils. Imagine eating without utensils. This time no chopsticks. A china restaurant without chopsticks. They need a new ordering person.

Food was hot and fresh but serving portions very skimpy compared to other Panda locations I've been at.

Improvement over my last visit. This was my last and final attempt to continue to love Panda Express. I don't know what happened to the previous 2 visits. The product was absolutely horrible! This final shot was almost back to normal! I ate all my food and loved it again! Keep everything consistent and I will continue to love it.

The absolute be meal to date from Panda. We got the family deal with white rice, orange chicken and Sweetfire chicken. The veggies in the sweetfire were perfectly cooked with the right amount of heat. The orange chicken was the best yet. We also got 1 plate with fried rice, bejing beef, honey chicken. All was amazing. We ordered ahead and once we arrive it was incredibly busy but we waited maybe 5 mins for our fresh hot food to take home. Definitely deserve the 5 stars and more. Thanks Panda Employees for the wonderful supper!! We will be back!
