One out of 5 stars is actually too generous for this location. I'd give it half a star if I could. There were so many things that went wrong during this experience so please bear with me. I tried to order online and found out when I got to the location that they don't have the "iPad" to accept online orders(how about you inform the company IT person to get the online ordering disabled until you do?). I told the worker that I had never been to this place before so I don't know how it works. All she said was just order. No explanation on how the menu works with the different combos or anything. I asked to pull up to the window since the drive thru speaker was killing my ears. The initial worker was very rude. They ended up over charging me because I upgraded my burgers to double meat. They were too lazy to change the order and charged my card a second time for the 2 extra patties even though my combo was their special for the night. All the females had loose ponytails and no hairnets. The female working the fryer had her mask below her upper lip. Now to the food. The burger patties were so dry like they had been sitting in a food warmer for a while. The burger patties also tasted like they were mass produced frozen patties that had been thawed out. The tomatoes were old, the lettuce was wilted, and the mushrooms are canned. The fries were lukewarm at best. The chicken tenders barely had any meat they were so thin. The cheese curds were overcooked. The funnel fries were undercooked and oily, definitely not enough to be worth what they are charging. The onion rings were nothing special, tasted like Members Mark brand. The pop was lacking in syrup and tasted flat. Last but not least, my double bigger cheeseburger had NO cheese. I would never recommend this location. Hopefully the other locations have higher standards than this one. If you have working taste buds, don't waste your time here.

Far better alternative to McDonald's! For the price and quantity of food, you can't go wrong! Eating here is more about nostalgia for me - I appreciate that it tastes the same, years and years past. It was a little frustrating that we couldn't walk up and order and had to get back in our car to go through the drive thru. I imagine some business has been lost from vehicles that can't go through the tight turn at the drive up window and not being able to walk up. There's a decent amount of picnic tables and trash cans for outdoor dining. Perfect on a nice weather day!

Food is always hot and fresh (except the buns are almost always dry) either way, great serving size for the price. Customer service is always hit or miss. Most times it’s a miss 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would like to be more kind to a regional restaurant chain, but other than the fact that it has no dining room (drive-thru and picnic tables only), Burger Time just doesn’t stand out from the competition. There’s nothing that stands out in a bad way, either, the food is made fresh, and it’s a reasonable, if not great, value. But the flavors and menu items uninspired—if it weren’t for the fried pickles, I’d have a hard time believing this menu had changed in the past twenty years, the burgers look unappealing due to a lack of attention when making them, and there are many places close by where your dollar will go farther.

Great place that supports live music. Brad and his friendly crew go all out to provide great service and great food! Their pizza is actually the best 'bar pizza' I've ever had.

food is good staff is incompetent and cant get an order right. 3 visits in a row order has been wrong. instead of making a new chicken sandwich, wipe off lettuce and tomato and sauce that makes sandwich and hands back. unacceptable

We were going to get Taco Bell and noticed this burger shop next to it. We prefer supporting local small businesses, so we jumped onto Division and pulled up to the order speaker. Quick service, huge burgers, decent prices, and fries identical to McDonald's. I mean, no complaints from us. Buffalo chicken sandwich, bacon cheeseburger, chicken strips, and mushroom swiss burger for our family...absolutely worth it! We'll be back!

Service was great. Food was not too bad for the price you pay for. The french fries could use a little more seasoning. That would be my only complaint. Overall, great food for the price and great service. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

$7.99 burger special on Tuesday is a massive Mushroom and swiss burger (about 6 inches across) , fries, and LARGE soda. This is easily the best burger deal in W.P. /St Cloud area (on Tuesdays). The burger is not only huge but it's quite tasty. If you go on any other day, I'd make sure to grab the deep fried pickles. A few years ago they had a Patty Melt that i wish they'd bring back, and currently they're not offering shakes :( But if you have a hunger that only a good burger [made quickly ] can satisfy , then this is the spot for you.

My mom was the first to bring me here as a child. (At least 20+yrs. ago) I'm surprised that they have made it through COVID-19. Well I loved the food then, and I still love the food here today. I'm never let down when I have ordered here.

I stopped by here 2 weeks ago after stopping at the one in Grand Forks. The food was excellent and location was very clean. I used to eat at one of these that was in Elk River 30 years ago and I thought that the company had gone under. I'm glad to see that they are still around. The only complaint that I have is that I wish you had a location in Waconia so that I could enjoy the food more.

Enormous let down. Fries were cold and soggy. And along with the funnel fries way undercooked. Burgers were not made correctly and were basic premade patty with little flavor you can get anywhere. Corn dog was very good.

Love the food usually, today it was not top notch. Burger not quite cooked and really sloppy. Fries soo, so.

Burger time is an old favorite, you either love it or you don't! This particular location has no easy way to get in. One way Street entrance, so you end up making a lot of you turns to get in! I love to feed the birds when they visit! Very entertaining.

Burger Time is drive through only. No dine in or take out per se. I think their burgers are fantastic. I wish there were more of these places around. I only know of this one in St. Cloud and one in St. Paul. There used to be more of them when I was in my late teens and early twenties. Good fast food at a decent price.

The only reason I didn't give Burger Time 5 stars are the prices. The food is pretty expensive for being fast food

Same great service and food for the last 17 years I have been going. If you have not tried it, I would recommend stop by for lunch.

First time trying today - I really liked the fries. My Jalapeno burger had a fair amount of peppers on it and just enough salsa to not be messy. I wish my burger was a bit warmer, but I also understand the salsa needs to be stored cold. I'll be back! Beats culvers fries by a mile!!

Great food. Just don't order online, the workers didn't accept the online order so it got cancelled. Waiting for the refund now. Will go back just won't do online at all anymore!!!

Even though they're a little heavy-handed with the mayonnaise it still was a good experience, fries were excellent super hot and season perfectly. I will be returning and recommending this place to other people.

Never tried this place and first will be last. The burger that I had was very dry and plain, no seasoning on the meat whatsoever. All I could taste was the onion that was strong. Friendly service though.
