Worst hotel. They had wrecked my dads Father’s Day. I am from Florida, I had put the hotel in my dads name and they said because he lived in St. Cloud they wouldn’t let us stay. Even though I paid for it. It just wasn’t in my name because I wasn’t there yet. My dad is a US vet, I was surprising him for Father’s Day to get him out of the house, but they wrecked it. They were really rude, we were staying there for 4 nights. They already took my money. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I stay at a lot of hotels. The lady in the front(Tamara) said she had no idea what the number was that we could call, she said they didn’t have a customer service at all and there was nothing she could help us with. Even customers behind us, were upset that we couldn’t stay. This is my dads first Father’s Day with me. Absolutely disgusted that they couldn’t help us.

The GrandStay overnight was adequate. Friendly service stands out. The rooms are clean but dated. There are no usb charger ports and the tv's are definitely 10+ years old. Additionally, the breakfast was decent/average and the carpets in the common area / reception and hallways are very old and dated, worn.

Went for a tour for a future stay. GM wasn’t around both times we went to tour. Guests were smoking weed out back and not one employee cared. Pool floor was filthy. Lobby floor was filthy and sticky. Front desk person sitting the whole time. Front stairs filthy. Elevator filthy.

This was an amazing stay! The rooms were very clean and big. We stayed in a suite. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave and range top, plus pots and pans and dishes. It had a tv in the bdrm and living rm. The beds were super comfy and pillows too. It had a grill area with a picnic area and fenced in for your dogs. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. They have a warm hot breakfast every morning and good (eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage), plus lots of other items too. The hotel was kept very clean and in a good area/location too!

Went here for work in st. cloud, just stayed 2 nights, worked 3 days on this project. At check in the desk was manned by a guy who's t shirt advertised sarcasm, and he did deliver but also had good information on what was available locally. The pool and hot tub worked, the pool being too small to really swim in a good push off gets you it's whole length. The hot tub definitely felt good if set a bit conservatively. It was nice to be able to stay that close to the job and get in a small swim and hot tub soak after work.

The room was in good shape, kitchen was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and two element stove. The washroom had a large vanity single, full size tube/shower and the bedroom is small it have it's own tv. The only complaint I have is the complimentary breakfast sucks they have cut back on what is available but do offer stale bagels.

Checked in on Saturday and whoever checked me in put my check in date as Friday so my keys stopped working after less than an hour of being there. Room had dirty dishes in the sink, half the lights in the room didn’t work or were missing lightbulbs, no remote for the tv, and the “clean” towels were stained all over. Hard to justify spending a premium for service like that. I informed the front desk about everything and all they said was they’ll put in a work order for it to get it done later.” no other solutions were offered.

The first time we stayed there, the poor guy was all on his own, brand new and zero training, but he was such a cheerful, nice guy. The return stay, the lady working was less than friendly, left me trying to call from outside to get in the building to check in for more than 15 minutes. Not a comfortable feeling for a woman at midnight. Rooms are great. Breakfast is hit and miss, but it's a great place to stay.

The hotel is a good place to stay, our room had a kitchenette with a full fridge and dishwasher. It was quiet, our stay was in the middle of the week but it was also full so I did appreciate how quiet it was. The breakfast area could use another waffle maker and the hot breakfast had meat cooked into the eggs, it would be nice to have it offered as a side rather than cooked in.

The rooms are spacious and have a kitchen. The breakfast was not well-stocked in the fresh-fruit department--only 3 apples, leaving the rest of the baskets empty. The hotel is beginning to show signs of aging, but I felt that it was a good price in a good location and housekeeping was good. I would have liked the hot tub to be hotter. My suggestion to management would be to replace carpet with faux-wood--it's more sanitary.

Comfortable and clean extended stay hotel. Pool was warm and hot tube was comfortable. The only "significant" downside was the pillows, they are quite thin.

The rooms here are clean and spacious. The hotel walking distance to downtown restaurants and St. Cloud State. Its quiet and a good environment for working remotely if you need to.

Room was very clean and spacious. The room had a seperate bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed and great clothing storage. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. Water was hot and the water pressure was great. The kitchen area was excellent. It included a full sized fridge/freezer unit, a sink, dishwasher, stove top, coffee maker and microwave. The breakfast options were plentiful for a Monday morning and the shared dining area was clean and nice. The lobby was beautiful and the fireplace was so warm and cozy. The front desk staff were kind, responsive and helpful. Overall, fantastic value.

Good price for the suite. Great hot breakfast with different daily options. Pool is a bit small and busy with young families. Other than that, would definitely stay again.

Staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was expansive and satisfied everyone in our family! Location in downtown St Cloud, which is convenient for walking distance to a beer or Chipotle, but be sure to lock your car at night! My only complaint is the bed! The bed was squeaky and flat and very uncomfortable! Didn't match the higher end the hotel feels. Also- there was a loud party going on down the hall, the hall was very noise and smelled like pot, but inside our room it was quiet and not smelly, thankfully.

We felt welcomed at this hotel. My kids delighted in the room. We did have to ask for extra bedding, but were not made to feel like we were imposing. There is a gated area for our dog to go potty. It's also the smoker's area, and a kid play area. It's right behind the Domino's Pizza, so you smell garlic in the air. A few previous guests are/were not as considerate as we are because we saw a few poo deposits left by other dogs/owner. Given the amount of dog pee there, I don't know that I would let my kids play outside on the play area, but I appreciated having someplace safe to go at night when the dog needed to go outside. The hot tub was warm and the pool was tiny, but just enough. The shampoos bottle nozzles are too small, so even though there is shampoo left in the bottle, you can hardly get it out. For a longer stay, we would bring our own shampoo. The breakfast spread was pretty varied, and everyone found something to eat. (I had oatmeal, 1 kid had a bagel with cream cheese, 1 kid had cereal, 1 kid had yogurt. and there's a nice selection of teas. ) Parking was right out front, and except for the pizza delivery car parking the wrong way in the parking circle and blocking traffic, it was easy to park. We will stay here again.

Extremely comfortable bed. Private from the living room with a padded lounge chair and a loveseat with nice view of the river. Kitchenette was nice with a breakfast bar. Bathroom was comfortable and spacious. Nice towels and facecloths. Nice breakfast service and a playground for kids right outside. Easy and safe parking.

Convenient location, clean and comfortable suite. The breakfast was excellent. Fresh avocados and grown-up cereal (raisin bran) as well as kid-friendly choices. When I'm in St Cloud again, I'll book at the GrandStay

Very clean and friendly hotel. I will be using this chain a whole lot more for business travel its nice to be able to cook your own meal once in awhile and the separation of rooms is great that way I can shut down and go to sleep when finished working.

The rooms are very large and have a sleeper sofa with a door between the living room and the bedroom. This is a very nice setup. While I was working my fiance was able to sleep through the night and I was nice and comfortable on the couch. The breakfast is from 6:30am until 10am and has a very nice variety of food. I love that the whole week we were here there were variations in the hot foods. Scrambled eggs and sausage gravy one day, cheese omelette and breakfast burrito the next day, hash browns and bacon another day. It was truly impressive how much effort went into it. The employees are so very kind and helpful, any help we asked for was met with great support. They cleaned our rooms when we were out if we had the sign up and they picked up the trash if I left it in the hall to keep them from having to bother with the whole room. The only thing that I have had a problem with is the internet and no USB ports in the room. The wifi coverage is fine, so good job there. But the actual throughput is verging on dial-up speeds. And this was happening in the dead of night or the middle of the day. Had to use my phone as a tether for all of our devices in the room, thankfully I have an unlimited plan for now. Most people will be on vacation and perhaps not need the internet to work as hard, but we are here looking at houses and I still needed to work. There are lots of food options nearby and the hotel itself is right on the highway 23.

I would be giving this hotel a 5 star rating if the bed was comfortable and rooms updated. The furniture was worn and shabby. Other than those issues, the hotel was very clean, accommodating and good breakfast!

We booked here last minute. Online price was almost $20 cheaper than calling the front desk. Desk attendant was very informative and helpful. Rooms were clean. Loved that these are extended stay rooms with full size refrigerator, dish washer, toaster and two burner range. Bed was very comfortable. And the morning breakfast was VERY good, with a very nice and attentive employee refilling everything timely. Only complaints are the room HVAC could be updated, no designated outdoor grassy potty places for furry friends, and the pool was much smaller than online picture appeared. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Customer service was top notch. Recommended!
