We stayed in a split-level unit with four beds to attend a wedding. Overall, the rooms were great and the pool + hot tub area was accessible and not too crowded. The only real con about this place is it's a bit of a maze to find the ground level where our unit was situated.

The room was comfortable, but the noise from the pool came in through the air conditioner. The staff was amazing, especially at the banquet dinner we attended. Very fast and friendly. Nice location with a beautiful river walk easily accessible. We didn't have any problems, but a number of vehicles in the parking lot were broken into while we were there. Windows were not broken so the thieves apparently had an electronic device to override the locks. Unfortunately there were no security cameras in that area.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. Seemed short staffed and overwhelmed at times during peak times. I was warned at check in to make sure my car was locked and ALL items were out of the vehicle due to the "high crime" concerns in the parking lot. This was also highlighted on my check in paperwork. I appreciated the notification. If there is security cameras in the parking lot they are very well hidden. Didn't see any on the outside building or light poles. At 6:45am on my second day, I noticed a person sleeping in-between the exit doors on the Eastside of the hotel. Security is not present in this hotel or it's very undercover. In the section I stayed in, remodeling is needed desperately. This location has changed significantly since my last visit several years ago. This is unfortunate due to its prime location in downtown.

Got in town late for business after several delayed flights. Already had a reserved, confirmed, and fully paid room for 2 nights. I was told by the very very unkempt desk clerk that he didn't know of any remaining reservations. I told him I have the confirmation and can show it to him. Magically he remembered the reservation once I told him I had a confirmation number. He then admitted that he assumed I wasn't coming and cancelled my reservation despite having already been paid in full for the entire reservation. I said you receive contact info from my booking service and had every opportunity to call or email if you believed I wasn't coming even though the entire reservation was prepaid! He then proceeded to tell me that I was gonna have to wait 20 min.+ To check in since he was busy with something. I replied "hey you're not seriously going to stand there and tell me that you're going to make me wait 20+ minutes late at night just for you to begin the check in process? His response "patience is a virtue, you can wait" and "you're pretending like this is an inconvenience" He clearly should not be working in hospitality or any version of a customer facing job. He was rude, incredibly unkempt, and only cared about what he was doing.

Everything was lovely. Staff were quite pleasant.,Plenty of space to park. IMPORTANT… avoid the restaurant.,Staff had horrid communication skills. We were given the wrong food and it took close to an hour to get it. Waitress was obviously frazzled. Too bad since it was attached to such a fine hotel.

The MANAGER NICOLE was especially unpleasant to deal with! Very unprofessional, rude, they seem to lack a sense of positivity and customer service. I will never return to this hotel, and to be honest. I think I'll steer clear of the Best Western Kelly Inn properties. I would kindly advise other to do the same. At least from this dreadful location.

We drove 3 hours here: went to green mill for dinner . 2 children two adults, we waited over an hour to get the food. One adult didn’t eat because they messed up order one child didn’t eat because hair it was black and curly long!!!was in food! Web site claim free breakfast from 6-10 but no hot breakfast . Granola bar only bag. Not at all satisfied with the place; If you going to a convention or concert. This place is ideal because it’s right next door to the convention center. If you expecting the 8 star rating I’d find a better place this place rate I paid a lot for the room and very poor quality amenities and accommodation

My wife and I recently spent the night, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly, they allowed us to check in early and even upgraded our room at no cost, they had a little bag with snacks and water for us which was nice, they also gave a $10 coupon for the attached green mill restaurant. Our room was very clean and nice, the price was very reasonable too. We would come back and stay again.

Check in is at 3. And although I understand finding enough workers these days can be a challenge for a lot of places, if it's posted that you can check in at that time and the room is not ready, I do feel offering a discount from the room would be standard. I was there with my daughter and friends expecting for them to swim and celebrate her birthday. They did say we could go swim but we had food that needed to get in the fridge and lots of bags and gifts that I just wanted to be able to get settled before digging through bags and heading to the pool after driving for just over an hour to get there. We were not able to get to our room until just after 4. It was a bit of a disappointment and made for some unexpected stress sitting and waiting for an hour with 9 year olds not understanding why we couldn't get to our room when we arrived. When we first arrived we were told 5-10 minutes, then told 20 more and then again told 20 more before it was finally ready. I also didn't realize til after we got there that breakfast was not provided like a normal large hotel would. Instead just a bag breakfast that included a fruit cup and granola bar. By the time the 4 girls got up and went to get one just after 8 am, there were only 2 available. Don't think I would stay here again for the price I paid.

The hotel itself is ok. The AC is really loud, and it felt like they wet vacuumed the carpet before I got here and the damp carpet was kind of gross. But the restaurant/room service was THE WORST. A 30 minute cheese pizza turned into a 90 minute sausage pizza this vegetarian wouldn't eat. After multiple in person trips to the restaurant the "manager" thought she refunded me, actually charged me a second time, and had an attitude about "what do you want me to do about it?" A feeling of incompetence and mismanagement permeates the place wall to wall. Try the courtyard nearby.

We stayed at this hotel July 12 - 15 and had 5 - 6 rooms with family members, all in town for a family funeral. We had two vehicles broken into while we were there. One had just a few things taken but our truck, which was fully locked, was broken into. Fishing equipment, a tent, and a bag of clothes were all taken. Probably $600 - $1000 worth of stuff and that does not include the repairs needed now. When I told the staff at check out the response was - "we've been having that happen lately". This was not mentioned at check in. And if this is happening what is being done to stop it? Security, cameras, more lighting? The manager was busy so couldn't talk to me but I was promised a call - still waiting. We had to get to the airport so I couldn't wait at the hotel.? I was very disappointed and would never recommend this hotel to any one else.

Location in the city was ideal. But the site itself felt like a modified senior living center. Room turnover service could have been much better. They missed fecal matter or vomit (not sure which) around the toilet itself. Only two tissues left in the box, had to go all the way to front desk to pickup. The beds were ok but honestly not that comfortable. They call the site pet friendly, but you have to sign a huge agreement to stay with them. If you have dogs, there is only one small place outside to take them and its on a large incline, which I could see owners literally breaking their backs in the winter should they fall. Lastly their morning breakfast consists of stopping at the front desk to pickup your (complimentary) brown bag with water and granola bar. Overall just wasn't please with the stay. As we've stayed in better for less. If you need a safe and fairly clean place to stay last minute, this place works. But I'd suggest planning ahead and book elsewhere for the price.

It was great! The room was spacious and clean. The people at the front desk were absolutely delightful. The location is perfect for my husband and I. Green Mill is RIGHT there and there's plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop right down the street. I would definitely recommend.

Nice location, good overall. The Pool was the only reason for the 4 star. I love having pools at my hotel. (Specifically hot tubs ) This hot tub was filled with kids messing around, putting in a ton of soap from the bathrooms which got on your nerves quickly, and then both the pool and hot tub had way too much chlorine. You could smell it from a few feet away and it stung your eyes. Didn't ruin my trip but definitely changed it.

This hotel had the best shower I can ever remember having in a hotel. Bathroom was very small, but the water was super hot and the water pressure was very high. Shower head felt great. Bed was fairly comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Really enjoyed my stay.

I had a clean, quiet, & spacious room with a good view of the river. The bar was a nice place to sit and unwind. All happy smiling White people on staff! The only issue I had was getting lost lol. It could use some more clear signage to help people get around. Excellent all around, though.

Nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean. The lobby was very modern and the front desk people were very nice. The room was adequate, but felt a little dated. Good location and plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend giving it a try.

Very unfriendly over night staff named Zack. Terrible customer service when we were trying to figure out a booking request. He told us “best western doesn’t need our money” after he had been giving us attitude during conversation. When I booked, I booked at past midnight (12:05am) and didn’t realize we would have to check in the “next day” being after midnight. We needed a room for the night, not next day. I called the hotel and Zack answered, was not friendly or helpful. Telling us it’s our fault and we should have called the hotel. We decided to go into the hotel to talk in person and that’s when we experienced terrible customer service. We took our business else where who were willing to accommodate us. The manager Nicole was pleasant & did reach out the next day to honor the refund, but I did explain to her the terrible experience we had & how disappointing it was.

Highly recommend this hotel. Reasonably priced, clean and great amenities. They accept pets and the restaurant attached also allowed our dog on the patio. The Green Mill had great food, with 10% discount if you show your room key. Would give them a 10+

It was super easy to get to. Parking was free and so convenient. Everything was clean and somewhat updated. The price was OK a little more than I would like to pay for a hotel room for one night. And I did not see any free breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location on the river, and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants downtown a St Cloud! We stayed here for a convention. The service was satisfactory. My complaint is that it is clearly a very old hotel, and is overpriced for what you get. The beds were nice, but everything else was aged and slightly dinghy. There is a pool, hot tub, and small fitness center. We were fortunate to have a nice view of the river from our room. There is free parking exclusively for hotel guests!

Nice location Room was not clean. I went to the front desk and said they would have someone come clean, never received, looked like cat litter on the floor and something sticky on the nightstand. The plus breakfast was good. The pool area was nice. The front staff at check-in was amazing and great for the price of traveling with your dogs. The walking path to the door was not cleared following the previous path, which was made on some of their decorative rocks. We stayed two nights.

Make sure to specify no room near the pool unless you are a night owl. We didn't want poolside but weren't given another option. They close the pool at 10pm but let people stay in the pool courtyard as late as they want. We had kids throwing footballs at our door and adults talking right outside the room past midnight. I did call down to the front desk and the lady was very kind/apologetic. She went down and talked to the groups in the pool area which didn't seem to deter them any. I understand the parties in the pool area were just trying to enjoy themselves, but I bet nobody would have been ok with my our group being out there at 6am when they were trying to sleep. The rooms were basic which is fine. Our room coffee maker didn't work and neither did our fridge -disappointing after a night with little sleep!

My stay at this hotel was excellent! The room was spotless, and the staff takes great pride in their work. Despite being busy, the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for its clean and welcoming atmosphere and top-notch customer service.

I booked a hotel and I was eagerly awaiting checking out the room but unfortunately I was unable to even get a key card because unbeknownst to me there was a local fee in which you live 50 miles from St cloud or the hotel you are unable to stay at the hotel unless you give them an extra $150 which i did not have seems a bit ridiculous and a bit overrated and if it's that big of an issue it needs to be addressed sooner in the booking process. It's become a necessary policy for people who live 50 miles away from this town to pay an extra $150 it seems very redundant it seems unnecessary as hell especially since in this economy in this day and age not a lot of people have an extra $150 and you already ran a card to confirm a booking so obviously they have the funds to cover your displayed price if you wanted to be more you should jack up the price and see how many reservations you get

Nicole, you are amazing! I arrived to this hotel to stay for the night due to a job I had here in town. Upon arrival I was properly greeted by the front receptionist named Nicole. Not only was she pleasurable to talk to while getting checked in, but she went out of her way to make sure if I needed anything extra to let her know so she can accommodate my needs.. I will 100% make sure I stay here in the future, just because of her customer service. Thank you again Nicole for the hospitality that you have given me and my crew. I’ve never felt more welcomed when staying at a hotel.

The hotel is nice, rooms are comfortable and everything was in good condition. The walls are thin, could hear the noise coming up through the AC unit I think. Lots of slamming doors during the night. The pool was area was fun for the kids, a small area for the little ones and bigger pool for the big kids which is really nice. Plus the water is warm so we enjoyed that. I would be aware, however, about where you park your vehicle. There is an open lower level parking area that does not have any security cameras. Both of our cars were broken into. I didn't have anything of value that was taken but everything was rifled through (the vehicles were locked). It is surprising to me that the hotel wouldn't invest in some security cameras given the location of this hotel and I see this isn't the first issue reported.

I stayed here for two nights for a work conference. The hotel room: The room wasn’t great. Very outdated and basic things were not kept up. For example, 1) the bathroom door was clearly kicked in at one point and had damage but was not replaced. 2) The water was not clean and had an almost rotten smell to it. 3) Additionally, I found bugs in my bed. I took photos and showed them to staff and it was decided they were probably wood ticks. This could have easily been a tick I brought from home as I live in a forest, it just simply isn’t something that has happened so I was taken by surprise. 4) the beds are not comfortable and I left with neck and back pain. 5) the curtain track was not installed properly and there was a couple inch gap of window that was not able to be covered by curtain. The hotel was very quiet which was appreciated. The conference room: The conference room was similar to the hotel room where it was outdated but worked. Unfortunately they did not have the ability to turn the air on and the room was well over 80° most of the time. It became increasingly unbearable by most people attending the conference. I would not recommend this hotel for spending the night or hosting a conference. I gave the hotel two stars due to the outstanding service received. Staff was friendly and willing to help. I absolutely loved every individual who I came in contact with!

Hotel was extremely nice. We had late night check in with no issues what so ever. The only problem was our room smelt a little moist and everything kinda felt damp. But other than that great sleep and great amenities. Will stay there again next time we visit.

The room itself was fine. We had a poolside room and there is a lip between the carpet are and the hard service by the pool that was quite significant and we tripped on it multiple times. The guest service person who I spoke with on the phone was not pleasant to deal with and was overheard at check in being very short with someone on the phone as well. Hospitality is the name of the business. Maybe try a bit harder. All other staff were wonderful!

We were attending a meeting and decided to check at the hotel if we would be able to check in when we got there. They had a room available so we could get everything settled and rest a bit before our meeting. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and modern. Wifi worked well.

Good location. Convention hotel. A bit tired but room was clean and comfortable. No free breakfast but 10% off of food at attached restaurant with room key. Food at restaurant was above average 👍and convenient. Serves dinner until 10p helpful for travelers.

best western plus kelly inn NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. "We don't have those. Our rooms are "mobility accessible ". The hotel " Property meets ADA of 1990 (US hotels only)". [From website]. Beds would not move. No room between or on either side. There is no accessibility to get in or out except at the foot of the bed. You can reach the hangers in the closet if you pull everything else out first. You can not reach the controls to the AC and the heat thermostat and controls are too high, also. The bathroom had a rail next to toilet that was vertical ( up and down) and placed back next to thigh position. There was a bath stool...... a sheet metal triangle that folded down onto a slim 1/2" metal rod. Front entrance accessible but rooms are all the way around the building at the back corner. Iffy concrete and entrance at back which is away from handicap parking. No coffee/tea in room. Front reception coffee looked bad and messy area. Hot breakfast......(which the web site quoted as a hot buffet breakfast in the on site restaurant)..... only exits if you order and pay individual prices (no buffet). 2 egg breakfast with one meat $9.99. BUT.... you get a 10% discount if you show your room card. Area did not seem too safe but seemed well patrolled.

Nice hotel. Parking lot is secure, but quite a walk to the rooms. There are elevators and Green Mill is attached. Attendant could not separate each room that was booked, so we had to make other arrangements to pay back our coach for our room. Still a good, clean hotel for families.
