Check in at 2pm but had to wake someone up to get in. No one at desk and no one answered the phone. Finally another guest let us in and we were able to find someone to check us in. Hotel definitely needs updated. No USB ports in room? Really. Toilet was running so I had to fix it before going to bed because again no one would answer front desk phone. And parking was terrible.

the room was nice, not cleaned very well we found some trash. the pool is false advertised its way smaller than it appears in the pictures. it was also feezing cold. there was also lots of noise and it was difficult to fall asleep. it was also quite spendy for the quality and i could sure find a much nicer and cheaper hotel with continental breakfast. oh and the couch and the couches pillows were hard..

Location of this facility is downtown with a few restaurants and shops nearby. Downtown St. Cloud seems to struggle with keeping trendy places open, but there are a few. The hotel is connected to the convention center and a parking garage that was built for smart cars only. Even if you have a compact car someone will park next to you making it impossible to fully open your car door because of the tiny spaces. The hotel itself is dated and needs a redo. In addition, our room was dirty, the bathroom gross - see pics. The staff were fine, didn't have much interaction and didn't venture into the pool are. Seeing the bathroom deterred us from that! The curtains weren't long enough to keep the morning sun out. Not ideal if you wish to sleep past sunrise.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're in St. Cloud and craving some casual but tasty grub, let me tell you, the Courtyard Marriott Bistro doesn't disappoint—much. First off, they have hummus on the menu. Yep, you read that right—hummus! And not just any hummus, but hummus that actually made me feel all sorts of happy. Could've used a bit more pizzazz in the flavor department, but hey, it did the job. Now, about my daughter's Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Ah, the fusion of coleslaw and blue cheese crumbles—kind of like mixing polka and heavy metal. Not awful, just weird. She ended up scraping both off but said it was "okay" afterward. The fries? Top-notch. A couple of downsides though: No room service? And while the staff was very pleasant, they moved at the pace of a snail savoring a leaf. Morning fix? They serve Starbucks and offer a breakfast burrito that could easily pass as a food baby. Pretty darn good. So, the Courtyard Marriott Bistro? I'd say a solid 4 stars. As far as the rooms go, I would give them 3 and a 1/2 stars. The rooms were big and spacious clean, but had a very old smell to them that was sometimes hard to get past. The location Is great comma especially if you are headed to wyatt park amphitheater. It's a very short and easy drive.

Rooms need some updating. I had a suite and the couch was comfortable and tired looking. That being said, the bed was very comfortable. No breakfast available unless you purchase it. Parking is only available in the city owned lot for $4 per day. Front desk staff was friendly. Convenient access to the convention center through the connected skywalk.

Service was great, both the bar and front desk. The room was dirty, pube hairs in the bathtub. No thanks to a shower.

Rooms were clean. Staff takes a bit too long to check you in... The incidental holds seem to NEVER drop off!!!! Even with "a call to my bank" Some staff are super nice, others not as much. 😔

The entrance to the parking garage was horrible, very narrow & tight. The 7th floor furniture, right off the elevator was gross looking. The chairs looked like they were stained. Not like you would want to sit on them.

Pretty disappointed. Outdated TV's in room, and looked like everything was wiped down with a dirty towel. Trash cans had no liners in them, coffee in the room was a joke. I am still waiting for my $30 refund for breakfast! I reserved a room with a King Bed for me and my wife, and was told we were being upgraded to a suite. Went to go to bed, and no King bed, just 2 double beds! My wife and I sleep together and wanted a King sized bed for a reason! Check-in staff were polite, but I would like what I pay for.

I didn't like anything in this place. First, the city was really bad and made me feel unsafe. Secondly, everything smelled awful, filled with chemicals and germs. There was clear water damage on the roof and walls, and the bathroom was so small! Lastly, when I took a shower and used the towels they gave, there was such a strong but bad smell on my body since they use the same towels and the same cleaning solution which smells awful and made me want to vomit almost all the time! I couldn't even sleep peacefully because each time I moved, the smell would escape from the bed sheets. I eagerly looked outside for the river view they mentioned but that was just a small bit of water I could hardly make out. We went here because of the brand of Marriott, and everything was awful. We stayed at many hotels for vacation, and ALL OF THEM was far better than Marriott. The next hotel wasn't well known at all, but everything was perfect, and it was 56 dollars cheaper. The next one was made fully out of wood, with a much smaller area then Marriott, and filled with bugs, but even this felt homey. Now, were in a place that looks broken from the outside and this is the best one yet! Marriott really disappointed me, and I will not be coming here again.

The rooms all look nice. You can tell they did a remodel/refresh. They may have cut a few corners, but no big deal. I liked our room. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet. No hall/wall noises and no street noise. They did have a placard saying the street can get noisy and that there are complimentary ear plugs in the drawer. Well, there were none in the drawer, but also, there was no issue with noise, so all good. I like the bay style windows in the room. I sat in ours for a bit. The bathroom mirror was odd, trendy, but low on light. Those that are older or struggle with low vision might not like the mirror/lighting in the bathroom. I like the area, it's a convenient location. Close to the convention center and food and coffee shops and the quaint historical street of St Germain. The parking is free for guests and the garage is decent. They have a bistro on site (it was never open that I saw, even during posted hours) - so beware. They have vending machines for food, snacks, soda, sundries, etc. The staff was nice. Overall, I'd stay here again if needed.

Stayed here for a two day convention. Nice rooms, good food, nice lobby bar, great staff. Good location connected to convention center and MN baseball hall of fame.

The service at this hotel was above and beyond what I expected. From helping me find parking for my trailer to reacquainting with some valuable items I left in my hotel room, the staff was amazing. I am so glad I stayed at this hotel!

Our room had some light switches that didn't work & the plug-ins at bedside are so big that they are non functional. Otherwise was ok. Bed & pillows were very comfortable.

Check in process was very easy arrived to our rooms the room was very simple. The room was outdated there was 2 chairs that were crumbling the plastic was coming off are many our Mini fridge was over frozen with a big chunk of ice in it. I was there for a wedding the wedding reception room was nice the staff are very helpful... There is a $40 deposit held. Housekeeping did combine pick up our bag outside of a room for trash. This is located in downtown Saint cloud. There are many establishments nearby for drinks and for food and right next to the convention center

A little over my usual budget, but a very nice place! We had a 2-queen suite with a separate TV room/den with couch and coffee table, good for playing cards 😀. Small microwave and fridge. Very clean and right across the street from the convention center 👌!

Service was great. Location was great - passing through between metro Minneapolis and Fargo. FREE parking on weekends ! Unlike most other Courtyards, the Bistro is extra cost. Rooms can use some updating. The bedroom was 👍. Temperature controlled nicely with the thermostat. However, the sitting room was well worn, particularly the desk chair, and the room looked as if it had water problems.

What stay??? This is twice I have made reservations to stay at this hotel for a work conference and twice they have cancelled our rooms. Make a reservation but you won’t know for sure if they overbooked until you’re ready to check in.

Excellent hotel in DT STC with multi-room suites, which is a mist if you travel with kids. Always friendly and responsive staff and clean suites. Always pleased with my experience at the Courtyard STC.

One light bulb was out in bathroom. Can you add a wall mirror to see the back of my head to do my hair or see my eye makeup. The bed, pillows were great but the couch was very uncomfortable to rest and watch TV without pillows behind me. Thank you for listening to me. Have a great day.

The room was good. Service @ the front desk was great & polite!...now for the down side...the pool room was a mess with garbage & half eaten food with ants crawling all over it by the hot tub. This was later at night from 10 pm to 11. Also unsupervised kids that were left by their family that were also not adults. Our car was also ransacked in the parking ramp. This could have been my fault if I forgot to lock the car between the hours of 8-10:50pm when we went to the Brick & Bourbon to have supper. Unless they somehow got in. No forced entry visible & I didn't notice it when I locked the car @ 10:50. They got away with a pair of Oakley sunglasses. About the only thing of value in the car. Word to the wise, lock your stuff up when in St. Cloud.

Beautiful hotel. Beds and pillows were amazingly soft and comfy.

Not bad at all. Beds were very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom walls need to be cleaned better, but that was my only complaint. 100% agree that they could have breakfast. The "restaurant" is the bistro which is more like an in hotel fast food or diner.

The employees here are the only bright spot, and saved this courtyard from being a 1star. Unfortunately, while we travel 60-70 nights a year, are BonVoy members, and almost exclusively stay in Marriott branded properties, this is the hands down ugliest, most disgusting, and disrepaired property we have seen to date, with the prices very overpriced for the quality. While this is a franchised, not corporate owned property, it is hard to believe that Marriott has allowed their esteemed name to be tarnished with this property. Many items, including air conditioning, elevators, chairs and room furnishings, floor coverings, etc… broken or completely worn, beds sagging and no longer comfortable, and I had to go to the front desk and have my room rekeyed every time I came back to the room, because the electronic module would not retain memory. We were charged for parking which we were never told about, and only had it show up on our checkout receipt, which is completely unsecured, a public lot, and otherwise free during non event hours, and non school months. This hotel is Marriott in name and pricing only, and does not participate in any Marriott programs. They are also a service requested hotel, and will not provide any in room cleaning service unless requested, and have done absolutely nothing to alert the public of such (there are no signs, no postings, and no in room placards to identify as such. We were told of this, only after directly asking the front desk staff, after our room not being cleaned)

I loved the room. The only issue we had was at checkout. It appears as though we were charged different rates than what we reserved. Also, you can hear all the street noise (I was on the 6th floor and it was still loud). Other than that, everything was fine. No continental breakfast.

Marriott, you can do better! It wasn't terrible but I have higher expectations for a Marriott. The biggest problem was very, very low lighting in the room and the bathroom. If you're reading this before booking 100% request a room that is on the West side of the building. You'll thank me.
