A bit run down. Our room was very humid, to the point the carpet almost felt wet. Staff was always nice. Didn't try their breakfast. Luckily I was there visiting family so we only went back to the hotel/room when we were going to bed.

If you need a quick place to stay, this'll do. Rooms are musty and humid. Carpet felt moist. Beds are like sleeping like sleeping on a slab of wood. Not recommended for $100/night.

Only hotel with a room available while on a long road trip. Have stayed at clean Super 8's before, so was optimistic. Had to change toilet paper roll during stay, and got quite a shock. A condom was stuffed in the new roll. Showed front desk staff, and they were sorry. Not a good experience at all!!!

Friendly staff. Lobby and breakfast area were both really clean. Hot coffee in lobby at all hours. Lots of options for breakfast. Room was warm, cozy and clean. Soft bed sheets, new top blankets, comfy pillows. Very relaxing.

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I wrote a review.... but this one deserves it and not for good reasons! The place is disgusting! I'm currently sitting in my room wondering if I should leave. Only reason why I am not is because I spent everything I could just to get here to visit some family (before anyone says anything, I can't stay with them) this super 8 should honestly be closed down.... the list of things wrong with this room that I've seen so far. 1. The walk to my room showed stained carpets (really bad stains) and still sticky stains from spilt drinks on the walls. 2. Walking into my room the forst thing I notice are the incredibly stained, ripped and peeling carpets. 3. Next is the bathroom where the bathtub is turned off but a solid stream of water is coming out. 4. The bathtub/shower is missing parts (handles, towel bars) 5. Sink is cracked. 7. Bathroom counter has water damage at the base and wonky. 8. Dresser thing has some weird white stuff hardened on it? 9. More carpet stains and rips in the bed area. 10. Outlet covers broken and won't hold a cell charger in place. 11. Mirror has michael Meyers stickers on it. 12. The nasty microwave has playboy bunny stickers in it. 13. Window has water damage and the roof just outside and above is falling down. 14. The only chair (rolling office chair) has stains and something else on it. 15. The comforter has what looks like toilet paper or tissue paper went in the wash with it (here's hoping it was washed) 16. The toilet leaks, so it keeps making an oddly incredibly loud noise while it refills every 10/15 minutes. 17. Forgot to mention all but one of the lights in the bathroom are burnt out so it's very dark. 18. Honestly concerned for my car in the parking lot since they are not doing anything about people just gathering out there. 19. Forgot to mention the toilet seat is broken and slides around..... I know there are more. I'm just tired of typing and tired of this place. Close to 100 bucks a night for this, I wasn't expecting perfection. But I was expecting at least something sanitary! I thought about asking for a new room. But if this was their clean room knowing I had a reservation, what would their other rooms be like?!?!?!?!

Outdated, not a good/ safe neighborhood , carpet with wholes going upstair, guests mainly are residents. When I got inside room, bed linen has a nasty stick white thing in. Reception was SUPER NICE, very professional and promptly to help. But the place itself doesn’t help at all. Few really bad the hotel owners like this, don’t do anything to improve their business.

I’m not one to write a “bad” or negative review but I felt like I needed to for this. Our stay at the Super 8 wasn’t horrible by any means but the hotel itself was definitely sub par for many reasons. It’s very dingy and outdated. The room itself felt cleanish but the carpets were falling apart and looked unsanitary. I didn’t feel that comfortable even leaving my car out in the parking lot overnight. Overall it was a place to sleep as we were traveling through but the price was astronomically high compared to the value. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you are in an absolute pinch.

Sketchiest hotel I’ve been to, wouldn’t be surprised if they were doing something behind closed doors, or running something here. This is the hotel my s/o and I stayed at a few months back. The price was accommodating but interestingly enough when we locked our car to go inside (we ALWAYS triple lock our doors), the next morning we were going to go to Walmart, and ONLY the driver side door was unlocked. How? WHO KNOWS. A few important things were stolen including $400 in cash (traveling states for work) but a bag of clothes and nothing from the trunk was taken, so we asked the front desk to go through security camera footage to find out who did it because the time frame was less than 12 hours (you’ll understand why I say 12 hours because this is just ridiculous haha) and surprisingly enough, guess what! The footage was having issues! Which is already a huge red flag if you think you would be safe staying here if our car was broken into with God knows what. Don’t even bother contemplating to stay at this hotel.

What can I say... It's Super 8. This one was OK, good price, clean and conveniently located. It's a tear down, needs a new building. Lots of choices for eats around. If you're into crafts you have to shop at Crafts Direct which is not too far away. Good stuff.

I am a wyndham rewards, member and was very dissatisfied with this hotel. I have been a wyndham member for 18 years and own a time share. This hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the web site. We had a family reuion in Waite Park, Minnesota. With being a wyndham rewards member I set up the rooms for my 4 family members and me and my wife. Not a one of us ha a good experience, rooms smelled musty and couldn't sleep in them. One had a hole in the matress, one had water coming from the ceiling after and during a shower, and one of the twin queen beds in one room had a bad stain on the bed cover blanket. The staff was able to give us different rooms, and upgraded a couple. But for the price we paid for the room was unexceptable. This hotel needs a total upgrade if it plans on staying on the wyndham rewards web site, at least the sheets were clean and no bed bugs that we know of so far. We stayed here for 3 nights and 2 days. We would have went somewhere else but all the hotels were booked up in a 50 mile radias.

The halls, stairs and lobby floors were very dirty. Wonder if they ever used a vacuum in the halls or stairs. We had heavy luggage and no elevators to upper floor. Room was so so but would not stay there again!

Staff were friendly, but we did have some concerns. First whoever was roomed next to us was playing loud music all night long. It just kept getting louder as the night went on even hearing them shouting at times, people standing outside of our room at random times as well just talking away, our tub wasn’t the cleanest and there was no hot water! I guess the saying you get what you pay for definitely comes in hand here…..I felt like we were in an apartment not a hotel.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Fairly thick towels and basic toiletries. Breakfast was very limited, and staff did as required. Good value for the price.

If you want to be bothered by other guests and worry about your car all night this is the hotel for you. The one thing this hotel has going for it is the staff (except for the rude housekeeper). This hotel felt way more like an apartment with how many people live there and just hung out around the place. I constantly had to worry and check on my car throughout the night to make sure none of the shady characters around the hotel were doing anything to it. The parking lot is also littered with potholes. There was dogs barking throughout the day which could be heard from the lobby but the staff didn’t care all that much. There was burn holes in our carpet and some stains on the bed spread. If you are thinking about staying here, DONT!

I imagine there are worse places to stay, but I’d rather not imagine anything worse than this. If I only paid $50/night, it’d be worth it. But paying $100/night to stay here is not a good value. Gross carpet, don’t take off your socks. Rusty microwave. Broken TV. Furniture is not safe to sit on, gross. Bed’s were alright in terms of comfort, but a little rickety. Toilet runs all the time. This place is clearly not taken care of. Instead of Super8, it should be called Super Sketch.

Within walking distance to the mall and many restaurants. The staff is friendly. Beds are comfy. Decent price. Would definitely stay again.

I am a travel nurse so I frequent hotels on my way to assignments. I rarely leave reviews on them but this was the worst stay. There were cigarettes burns on the bed spread and the carpeted floors were ripped to shreds. I barely slept… Super awful!

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in all year. Bed was uncomfortable, room needed major updates and repair, bathroom was pretty gross. Staff was excellent! If you're looking for the cheapest possible room and dont care about quality might be the place to go. I paid $10 more at Travel Lodge down the road and it was way better.

Reserved the room on expedia on Sunday, Oct. 02 for a reservation on Friday, Oct 7. Followed up with a heads up notice on Wednesday, Oct 5 that we will be doing a late check-in since the origin of our trip was 6h away and we were not leaving that place until Friday, Oct 7 at 6pm. We arrived at the hotel at 12:30-12:45AM after the 6.5h road trip from our original destination. The check in process went fine until we went up to our room. When I opened the door expecting to be going straight to bed as the hotel and staff has been given a decent amount of time to get our room prepared.... We instead ended up with a hotel room that has not been cleaned for new check-ins to take over. The used towels were still on the floor, table, and in the washroom. The bed sheets were not replaced and still the used ones from the previous guest. I, immediately went back to the front desk agent and dealt with Mike. Mike then proceeds to tell me that it is the only room available for the night. This experience is one for the ages, I do understand it is a low budget hotel but you guys were given a reasonable amount of time and notice to have this ready. To make the matters worse, we waited another half hour after being so tired already from the road trip to have the room cleaned because we had no other option since they cannot provide me a refund. I was also told upon checkout that the manager Ankita will be contacting me to possibly doing some sort of compensation for the troubles. However, to this day I have been told by expedia and after multiple attempts to contact this manager that she has not responded to any of our inquiries. If I can give a lower rating, I would give this place a -5. Hope people will not experience this at this hotel.

Booked this hotel at the last minute, because we got concert tickets at the Ledge. The hotel needs updating badly! Only one front desk person working the front. Could see the other one sitting in the back office, as the line of people stretched out the door. We got to our room and found bad water damage on our ceiling and some on the walls. The carpet had holes, and the bedding had rips. You could hear people speaking outside the window, and we were on the second floor. At one point we thought our window was open. Not worth the nightly rate we paid. The only benefit was the location.

Room was really clean and smelled good. Bed was comfy. A/C in room worked. Hot shower. Mini Fridge and Microwave in room. TV has decent channels. Nice Breakfast area. The hotel has a vending machine, pop machine and ice machine. Guest laundry. Hot coffee in lobby 24/7. Super friendly staff. Decent size room for a decent price.

Room was dirty, not vacuumed floor, sand in bathtub and the worst part is the sheets were dirty and never washed from the last person that slept there. This was the only hotel that had rooms available and should have slept in my car.

I paid for 2 rooms under 2 separate reservations through the actual hotel website, not Expedia or Booking.com, etc. I get to the hotel and they tell me 'Sorry, no rooms available' after I had already paid weeks ago. I was never notified, nor was there any attempt to notify me, and I had to ask for a confirmation to know that I was getting my money back because, again, I had already been charged weeks ago. All of the negative reviews are getting the same copy and pasted reply from the 'manager'. I'm sure I will get the same one that was posted on the other review that also complained about the same thing happening to them.

Very run down. Room was dirty. Was not vacuumed. I stay in many different hotels as I travel frequently for my job. Definitely a disappointing place to stay. The only thing good about this hotel was the friendly woman at the front desk when I checked in.

I booked 2 rooms 1st room was very dirty the bed had hair all over it I had to change the sheets before my son could go to bed the night stand was dirty and so was the microwave and bathroom was gross. Second room was worse the bed had blood on it and the room was also dirty my son pulled a towel off the shelf and a cockroach fell out of the towel I took pictures and showed the front desk and all they said was ok. Didn't care at all. My youngest son was so grossed out he wanted to sleep in the car. Paying money for 2 rooms we shouldn't have to clean are rooms before relaxing for the night after driving 5 hours.

Most of the staff didn't seem excited to be working. Absolutely no breakfast selection. I was woken up by the staff vacuuming the room next to mine at 8:30. And then at 9:40 in the morning they started knocking on our door when check out is at 11.
