I knew I was booking a cheap hotel so I had some very low expectations. I was pretty dead on. The couple at the desk were nice, the area it was in felt nice enough, and the rate was well below the competition. Everything else was pretty much terrible: stale and stinky, worn out, stained carpet with holes, horrible pillows, and so forth. You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit.

I stayed this past Thurs-Sun. Not sure why this property has a 2.6 rating. The owners were friendly, the location is close to everything you could possibly need. Ice cold AC, nice flat screen Tv's, with tons of channels. Bed was comfortable. And it was peaceful. Will definitely stay here if I'm in the area again.

The room we were in was absolutely disgusting. Hair in the bathtub, hadn't been swept, ashes in the drawer between the beds and it reaked of stale smoke. I have stayed in many hotels but this is by far the most disgusting one. They also ask for a cash deposit to which the manager has to come and check your room out before you will get back

This place is a complete dump. The smell of pot seems to be imbedded in every fiber of this place. Garbages cans overflowing on the property. Random chairs propping open the ‘security’ door entrance. Fluids and stains on walls, tile, bedding. They seem to allow longer term stays with pets. A very large dog was seen numerous times and mounds of dog hair in the hallway. We stayed here because it was the closest hotel to the Ledge Amphitheater. It’s worth the extra money to stay at the Hilton just down the street.

This was an overnight stop on the way to the Black Hills. After driving over 12 hours, we just wanted a clean bed in a quiet area. The reality of the place didn't match the description. It looked like a building that was closed while being renovated. We drove past twice with a sinking feeling thinking this couldn't possibly be the right place. Someone had tossed their styrofoam tray with leftovers into the parking lot and no one had cleaned it up. The room was non-refundable so we were stuck no matter what. Our initial impression was it's not that bad. Closer inspection showed a little effort was made to repair some things, while others were horrible. The microwave had a huge burn hole going completely through the door. Is that even safe to use? The protective grill on the AC unit was gone. Anyone can stick their hand in there. A small hand may not come out intact. The controls were all messed up and loud. The bathtub was full of cracks. Besides being unsightly, it is a great place to harbor germs and who knows what else. The sides of the counters and sinks were very damaged, as were the walls. The top of the fridge was peeling away. The price we were charged was ridiculous, based on a fully remodeled new hotel. We were charged $100 security fee- for what? Will we get that back without a fight? There was no one around that spoke English on our way out, so no one to address our complaints, or discuss how overcharged we were for such a worn out and unsafe room. They shouldn't have been charging half of what we paid.

Do NOTTT stay here!! These people will steal your deposits and money off your card. We own a business and travel year round and have even stayed here before. This lady accused us of stealing her battery out of her smoke detector and first of all we don’t even smoke !! Secondly who even does that??!! If I were a thief I certainly wouldn’t be wasting my time with batteries. Her and her husband are con artists and crooks and do this for a living finding random people out of town and making up bogus excuses to keep $100 security deposits when the place is a dump! It has bed bugs on top of it all I’m disgusted and thankful our bank has our back but my partner wants to take legal action! Don’t waste your money and save yourself a whole headache and security deposit!!! Run!!

This hotel wasn’t too bad at all for the price!!! Location is definitely great!!! The only negative thing I have to say is the water was so hard that you literally can’t wash soap off yourself.

Staff were excellent, very welcoming. Walking distance to both The Ledge amphitheater and crossroads shopping center. Rooms could use a bit of work, but based on past reviews versus what I personally experienced, they are clearly putting the work in to improve them and they already look much better than the older reviews would suggest!

Was a little hesitant based on the reviews that we read but upon coming here the owner at the front desk was extremely friendly he let us know that he had recently bought the place and you could tell it the rooms are very clean you could tell they've been working hard on the hotel looking forward to staying here again in the future as improvements are made don't judge him on past reviews check it out for yourself well worth the money 8/18/2023

First I want to say my first experience while being there was fine, second day not to bad the front desk staff aka the older couple, well they started getting pushy, I bought a room 2 days and the question was ' you check out today?" opens my room door multiple times, and says "your smoking in here" ummm. I just came in from a cigarette, and he said it smells like smoke.' doesn't say anything to me about losing a deposit. I even purchase another night, the older gentleman has asked me about my female friends asking if I give them money" umm "sir' I shouldnt have to explain myself on multiple occasions about this is my friend and my company, he said ' she I'm your room along time" first that sounds like a phishing scheme of "hey she's pretty, I want to pay her, she felt very dirty that someone looked the way he did at her They will know who wrote this. you still owe me 30 dollars,!! Took a deposit and then found an excuse why he took it. First Mr cortel owner, for you to treat both my chick friends that way was highly inappropriate, but to question why I want to lose money over a room, well my last night. I am highlynot wanting too send this but I'm not going to change my mind . And to snoop around the room when your not there what's going on like what is it your looking for?! I believe this 86 is gunna end soon. Me and my cousin are both native Americans and to get our ids thrown at us saying there was illegal everything. Powder. It was hot used plate in the microwave. I appreciate the staff but nothing majorly wrong with it. But they rated bad. For business. In my eyes. This review is far from being a lie. My female friends felt disgusted and ridiculed, but thanks to the older gentleman for that one. Just be careful with your women and girls. It's highly unappreciated and to be kicked out over something dumb like you insinuated something so dumb but there is more then just my friends that said that the sexual advances weren't just a focused. Incident. But thank you but no thank you. my friends will be writing the BBB and humane resources HR. Have a beautiful and blessed day. Oh yeah you should have by now seen my last name in some of the reviews across the state. For different venues, restaurants, concerts, shopping centers and etc.

The location (near Menards, mall, etc) is THE only positive thing I can say about this dirty, smelly place. From the dirt smeared front door, down the dirty hallways and into a sickeningly Stinky and very unclean room to the unfriendly, angry, screaming at customers front desk person this stay was hellish. I spent 2 days here and it was the worst, by far, hotel experience I've ever had and I frequent many hotels. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this place and it's staff. No matter the savings it is not worth it. This place is setting the bar so low that it's buried underground which is where this 'hotel' deserves to be as well. And the sooner, the better.*I get nauseous just recalling brief glimpses of my past stay in this pit.

Please read through the reviews as I did not. Room was down right disgusting. Floor was horrible didn't look like it had been swept in God only knows how long. Took pictures of the disgusting floor , window and took to owner. He I suppose had a language barrier cuz he just brushed it off. Icing on the cake charged me a$10 pet deposit for a medical service dog. That I have to have. Ok paid that even though I know the laws but who am I to argue ... please just look elsewhere.

If I can rate 0 I indeed would. When I say this place is beyond awful the rooms are horrible bed sheets and pillows were so filthy. The tub was dirty as well. These people are all about a dollar in frankly they are nasty individuals themselves. This place needs to be shut down. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE PLEASE !!!!!!

JUST NO! After a day of driving 800 miles, we only wanted a clean place to sleep, did not need extras. No cancellations! Walking in the hallway, the horrible smell was overwhelming! Carpets were filthy in hall and the room, we would not take shoes off. Disinfected sink area before brushing teeth and going to bed in our shirts.

Overall pretty low quality, the rooms were decent but everything was ever so slightly moist, the air was incredibly thick, they do not allow cats and never specify that, would only recommend as a last resort if you are traveling for a prolonged amount of time.
