    We arrived at the hotel on July 9th. Upon checking in, they had to swipe my card multiple times as the staff members were arguing back and forth. Neither staff member knew how to get us checked in. Once they finally figured out our card situation (it wasn't declined or anything) we had to wait another 10 minutes because neither knew how to make a key card. We spent about 30 minutes checking in with the unknowledgeable staff. Then to top off our stay, someone tried to break in our hotel door at 2am! We called the front desk to report it, only to find out it was a STAFF MEMBER! She said that it was her and that it was not right and shouldn't have happened. My family was terrified. None of us were able to sleep well after that. Then when checking out, neither member knew what to do. They wanted to swipe my card AGAIN for the deposit. I would avoid this place!

    Rooms were decent. Management was horrible. Overbooked room, never sent confirmation email, and double booked rooms during a wedding block. Management never even notified us before bagging and throwing belongings into the office for their mistake.

    We had a bad experience with bedbugs in the room #204. In the daytime!!! We recorded the video and showed to the receptionist. They moved us to another room, but I cant say they expressed much empathy. The overall experience was a mix of good things and complete disappointment caused by stuff neglet and attitude.

    Poop in the toilet, rips on the furniture, stains everywhere, trash on the floor. Manager refused to speak to me or issue a refund. 0/5 would not recommend, unless you enjoy frustration and filth.

    When we got to our room the pillowcases were on the bed folded in on the pillows and the beds didn’t have covers only sheets and blankets. We opened the fridge to find two waters and a bunch of string cheese. The shower had a small portion of a bar of soap on the shelf. And the garbage bags were laid across the can for us to put on. When we went to get breakfast everything was basically gone. We got a small cup of coffee is all. The eggs, sausage, muffins, etc were gone. The only thing available to eat was bread and bagels.

    My wife and I attended my niece's wedding in the Sartell area, we booked 1 room through Expedia and paid in full. We then booked 2 more rooms through Expedia for my son and daughters families to be paid for at the time of the stay. Checking in took almost an hour, the hotel was over booked and the staff had to call and text the manager several times because they weren't sure where to put us. They charged my wife's credit card for 4 rooms, we only needed 3 and 1 of them had been pre-paid. They (staff member who said it was her last day) said there was no way for her to refund us the over charges on the 2 rooms and the manager would call the next day(8/8/22). Still waiting for the call or email or anything. We ended up disputing the charges and had to cancel the credit card. Horrible experience, lack of accountability on this managers part. I have stayed at Americinn's several times and have never had an issue, I hope his is site specific and will be remedied quickly.

    The rough - Breakfast was overcrowded. No milk. No waffle batter. Eggs were swimming in water. Pool was cloudy and didn’t seem clean. Adult swim from 10-midnight which is awesome but there was a kids hockey team in there well after 10. Screaming and towel snapping each other. No basket or anything to put dirty pool towels and there were no clean pool towels. Parking lot not plowed correctly and then it refroze so it was deeply rutted and treacherous. Rooms are not quiet. You can hear everything in the hallways. The good - Staff we talked to seemed friendly and the room was nice and clean.

    Traveling through MN enough, you will eventually end up at an Americinn. This location is by far the best and most updated. Close to many options for food and groceries. Let’s be honest, nobody goes to this part of the state for vacation.

    Do not stay here. We arrived during the night and there was no one at the desk. No answering machine. Nothing. Two guests came down and said there hasn’t been anyone at the desk for two days and they made their own key!!!!! Not the way we wanted to start our trip especially with super tired young children. Incredibly disappointed.

    When we checked in, clerk was very sarcastic. Saturday night 2 of us played games in the breakfast area, front desk lady didn't acknowledge us, she sat watching her phone. Hot water was empty. Sunday morning we had breakfast at 9am, no donuts or danishes. Coffee was empty, the counters had not been wiped off. I know help is hard to find but just a little effort from staff would have been nice! What's with the flat sheets tossed over the bedspreads? Rooms look nothing like the pictures.

    Who has a 100 dollar deposit? I just stayed in the same brand hotel the night before and they didn't have that. Must have been the location it is around. Glad I didn't stay

    I booked a room here through expedia and when I arrived the front desk told me I couldn't stay without a 100$ cash deposit. Expedia is unable to refund me because the inn won't speak to them.

    Great place. They gave us the cheaper rate found online when I showed it to them on my phone. Would be 5 stars if it were a little cleaner.

    Very clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was ok, your standard items. Good coffee. Staff went out of their way to make our stay better. Would recommend this AmericInn in Sartell to anyone who wants a first class stay.

    I was not impressed. The first room they gave us had straw on the floor. Second room had stuff on the floor, but not as bad. It has a good location.

    Typical AmericInn with clean rooms and continental breakfast. NOTE: All of my reviews start at a baseline of Average (3 stars) and either improve or regress from the mean. For example, most franchise businesses get 3 stars from me. They are cookie-cutter locations that are the same wherever you go (i.e. McDonald's). If something extraordinary is observed, the rating moves up or down.

    Super friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms. Quiet. Actually nicer than I expected. That's rare these days.. Would certainly recommend only recommend.

    The facility is average at best. While the room was clean, the shower was sub-standard. Mold appeared all over the tiles and the tension bar holding the shower curtain was rusted. There was a large bug in the shower when we arrived. The breakfast quality and selection were sub-standard....with the exception of the "make it yourself waffles" which were quite good.

    We come here regularly. The pool and hot tub are great and worth the stay. Breakfast, including waffles to make, scrambled eggs and sausage, is fair. Coffee and tea on demand. Comfortable beds, small TV. Ery convenient location.
