This place is very well maintained. When entering it, it is beautiful, yet you get a sense of deep sadness.

I always look for black history on my trips and this place was interesting. From a fort to a prison/courthouse/police station. The views were amazing

It's part of our history, so we are happy to explore visiting the U.S. Virgin Islands. We try to learn as much as we can.

Recently renovated to great condition. From the Seaward facing cannons to the jail cells and even the dungeon. Everything looks authentic.

The fort is so fascinating, and provides a deep look into the islands history over the past couple centuries. Being in the presence of its walls and history, especially the dungeons, takes my breath away. Worth visiting.

This is a nice little park and the fort is interesting, but nothing special. It takes about 15 minutes to do the whole fort, though there is some interesting history. If you are like me, you do all the reading before getting there, so walking around is quite quick as it’s a small fort. There is a park around it and other buildings that make up the historical site itself. However when I went all of these were closed. It was also really hard to actually find the staff and get my brochure and stamp. I think in the summer, its probably more interesting, when everything is open.

Didn't get to take the tour but got to briefly see the entrance as they were closing for the day. Very beautiful structure kept in original form. Panels on the first floor room described its history.

We have enjoyed the tour, and it is more focused on the National Park history, which hubby and I enjoyed. Walked around the ground and the quint little town. I miss a whole lot around the water area because hubby and I decided to go back to see the glass shop. I didn't get to walk around the boardwalk area. But satisfied with our 3 hours walking tour with guide. Tour guide let us go on our last hour before heading back to our transportation back to the ship.

A small fort with beautiful views when you climb to the top. It’s very neat to check out but not necessarily a must visit attraction.

Great place to visit. Family friendly. Beautiful views of the bay. Clean and well maintained. A good size, not to big and overwhelming. Highly recommend.

Very beautiful historic fort, good information provided throughout the buildings. Worth a visit to walk through the fort and up to the cannon deck/top level. The customs house outside the fort was not available to walk through, but was neat to see from the outside.

Cool place. History facts are displayed in certain areas which give good background information. Seeing the sights and the different rooms and cells was neat.

This park is so beautiful and rich with history. The guided tour proved to be such a memorable experience. We learned so much and got to see an important part of history. Plus the views from the fort are spectacular. I highly recommend this beautiful experience.

Lots of history here. Good family place..between the museum and the historic buildings it’s a must see while on the island. There are also quite a few good eating establishments nearby, including a quaint little boardwalk.

Great place to spend about a half hour to an hour. We were able to let the little ones run and play a bit in the big well maintained and safe grass area before walking g around and looking at a beautifully restored historical location.

Seven acre park that includes the museum, the Steeple building, and Scale House all located on the Christiansted waterfront. A few minutes walk to shops and the boardwalk. Wonderful Danish history can be explored on a self-guided tour.
