This restaurant is on point! We went for breakfast and we ended up having some delicious cocktails and they have a great environment and friendly staff. LGBT+ friendly and overall a great environment. It caught up my attention that their bar top is actually decorated with old Venezuelan currency and if you are from Venezuela looking at these bills will bring you memories for sure. Overall a great experience and I'll highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

No frills restaurant just straight to the point breakfast. The Rum French toast was incredible. The portion of eggs and bacon was slim but still tasty. I will definitely be back.

I really like the location and decor of Toast Diner. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. My husband's eggs over easy were very overcooked and he didn't particularly care for the hashbrown casserole. The homemade sauce he tried with them was very flavorful though. I had French toast which was nothing out of the ordinary. Total bill was around $50.

Delish! Since I don't do well with grains or dairy, eating out can be hard. I had hash brown casserole with eggs and onions (sauteed) and it was fabulous! My son lived the rum cake french toast and my two keto family members enjoyed the "choose five scramble" and reported a generous amount of meats and veggies. We lived the guava and passionfruit juices as well and got lots of helpful advice about the island from our friendly server. The menu had recently changed (we visited February 5, 2022) so the menu pics previously listed on Google aren't accurate any more. I took some pics of the new menu.

The Plantano arepa was amazing with the 40 strand hot sauce! Everyone’s breakfasts disappeared before I could take pictures or ask any questions. Note, the red white and blue vegan bowl is not filling.

We had a great lunch in Toast.. a lot of nearby places are just offering same burgers etc type menu but Toast has interesting and delicious food worth trying! I had the Crucian breakfast with its delicious creole stewed salt cod. Tons to choose from, lovely people and we wished we could have discovered it sooner, or had time to go again for cocktails. Also, tamarind juice.. delicious!

Everything was great. The French toast were the perfect texture and had an amazing taste to them. Shrimp arepa was amazing as well. The staff was super friendly!

Great little restaurant. Went in to grab an arepa and sat outside. It was quick and delicious. They have vegetarian and vegan options yay thank you! Tamarind juice was expensive but locally made and delicious. Would come here again.

Food is good, not great, was hoping for just a bit more. We very much enjoyed our breakfast just can't quite give it 5 stars. Our server was top notch, very attentive and friendly. The location is great with an alley vibe with a view of the harbor. Loved it!

I don't give 5* ratings as there's always something that can be improved in anything, but if I did, this funky little diner would get it! Warm smiles and heartfelt laughter from the waitstaff to the kitchen while we were there and meals (all 4 of us had something different) were delicious, ample portions and well priced. We will definitely stop in again the next time we are down in town. Please go enjoy this place of happiness!

Sandwiches, breakfast and unique vibe - nice to eat in A/C too! The hash brown casserole is the best.

Tastes good. It is my first time trying hash brown casserole. The proportion of the meal seems a little too less. Waiting for a while because of the Sunday.

The food was good. We were looking for breakfast and most of the places in the area didn't open until 11am so it was nice to find good food early. However, it's a small space and seating is limited. We pulled a table and sat outside by the front door. Not bad, but not ideal as we had to deal with all the early morning smells from surrounding bars setting setup for the day.

This place has very good food! The red white and blue bowl is amazing! Service is definitely island time but it’s honestly not a big deal! Super cute place! So worth it for breakfast!

They deserve 5 stars just for the rum cake french toast alone. I don't drink alcohol at all and I don't like French toast particularly but theirs is amazing; tastes like cake. It's way better than it looks. If you're a sweet lover then you must try it! Don't be afraid to ask for more whip cream (3 dallops are ideal but they sometimes just give 1 or 2). No syrup needed. I don't care for their arepas but my bf likes them (cubano). He also likes the tamarind drink.

It was ok. Nothing that I would go back for. Customer Service seemed bothered we “party of 7” came in at 11:00 am. The Chicken for the chicken and biscuits was still cold in the center. Avocado toast had a light spread of avocado and 2 of the 3 orders of the avocado had a brown spread and not green which means it was pre-made no other way it would be brown and not green. Hash browns, as well as the fries were ok but nothing makes me want to come back.
