Vegan slow food, done superbly. Many of the customers are not vegan, they just love good food. The kitchen opens when the food is ready, not before. It is worth the wait. Lunchtime service only, 1pm is usually good. They close when they run out of food. The menu changes daily, as does the drinks selection. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Pictured is a large plate of BBQ tofu kebab with vegetable rice and salad, $17. This changed my carnivore husband's mind about tofu. It's pretty funny to have him begging to go to a vegan restaurant. Don't expect frills, there aren't any, you're here for the food and the atmosphere. Friendly, real people, second picture is a notice on the ladies bathroom door. Uca's is also a Rastafarian Cultural Center, so don't be surprised to hear recorded speeches playing in the background.

Three is a charm. We mistakenly came on a Monday after snorkeling the pier and learned they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Tried again on a Friday afternoon after driving the Heritage Route, but at 3:30 they were already out of food for the day. Today, on a Sunday on our way to Sandy Point we were lucky. Great vegan food that even us omnivores enjoyed. You pick a size and start with a starch (today's choices were pasta, mashed potatoes or quinoa), pick an entree (choices were roast stew, veggie crumbles or bbq tofu) and then all the sides came with it. It was awesome and fresh and satisfying. Great to get so many vegetables. Also tried the tasty samosa filled with curry potatoes. Check out the spicy hot sauce on the side and their special drinks.

The food was amazing good taste and quality, the people wonderful and kind. The sorrel juice was so delicious. Simple place with amazing food. La comida estaba deliciosa , la gente muy amable. Totalmente recomendable

First time eating Rasta vegan food and this place was surprisingly good! Friendly ladies who worked at the kitchen and takeout business only during COVID time. Large portions of food- I only ordered a medium bowl but it came with fungi, vegan fish, veggies, salad and rice for $14. Menu was simple and If you want to try local & and vegan, this is the place to try! They open at noon and close they the food sells out. I’d recommend calling to order in advance or be prepared to wait for 20mins after you order!

Counter serve. Opens a little late but worth the wait. My son (who is a picky eater) resisted eating here all week but finally we tried it and he was surprised that he liked it. Especially the mashed sweet potatoes and beets... though he avoided the brussel sprouts and cucumbers. I ate those. We ate family style so we split a big plate. Also, the peanut punch is fantastic!!!

My daughter n Kaya daughter visited and came back Florida with uca pates n samosas. It was so delicious as remembered . How I missed uca food. The best restaurant in st.x and good vibes 🙌

Love the community and the Sistren. Food is top-notch, and you definitely get your money's worth. The hours are limited and food runs out, so check the time and get there early - sit and eat in Buddhoe park and enjoy the sea breeze. For a Bonus, try the eggplant sandwich on the whole wheat! Give me more!

All Vegan crucian food The menu changes daily I tried the oyster mushroom burger and fries… LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS AMAZING!!! the homemade ketchup was so delicious!!! My taste buds were having an explosion of different flavors I had never tested before! Vegan cake was bomb as well PS: I am a huge foodie and a carnivore, I will be retuning soon. Best kept secret!

One of my favorite places for a very long time that’s still open! The popcorn, the pate, the samosa, the Akra balls with the onion sauce, Akra pockets or just the daily plate, everything is so good and the local juices are awesome as well!

I just bought some Akra Balls with Onion Sauce from Uca's Kitchen. And I LOVE THEM! Not only they're quite tasty but, they're BIG for the price of $2.00 each. I'm definitely going back there someday again very soon! Superb Friendly Customer Service!
