Great casual dining spot on the boardwalk. The service was excellent. Our food was perfect. We had the lobster special and a cheeseburger. Both were delicious.

Rum Runners has friendly and attentive service, and their food specials are reflective of local ingredients. My wife had the Crucian cobb salad, but my Greek salad with blackened mahi stole the show! And how can you beat that view?!?!

I had the local catch fish and chips and Ava had the pork tacos. We shared the buffalo wings to start and the rum cake to finish. I had two Rum Runners and Ava had their coconut rum drink. Everything was great including the service. It's a very small, well-promoted place so don't plan to just walk in during peak dining hours. If you get the fish and chips, ask to substitute the seasoned fries. They are great!!

We stopped here for dinner and first just had a drink at the bar as they were not open yet for dinner. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I couldn’t decide between two different drinks and he was able to give me a good description of both and which was less sweet so that I could make the right choice. We wanted to sit at a table for dinner but you are able to order food and eat at the bar! After our drinks, we sat down to eat at a table and had a beautiful view of the boardwalk and the boats parked nearby and could see the sunset over the western side of the island. My husband had their spaghetti and meatballs special and I had their chicken with mashed potatoes. I have to say, their mashed potatoes were delicious! As per usual, I was between two different options and asked our waitress which one was her favorite and she stated that she can’t pass up their mashed potatoes so that is how I chose my meal and honestly, she was NOT lying. The mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. So was the rest of the meal, but I love a good potato! My husband initially thought that the spaghetti didn’t have enough sauce but as he got to the end he said there really was plenty, so just be mindful that it may look deceiving at first. We also had some free entertainment while we were eating here, we were seated at one of the tables closest to the water and rocks and had a little crab that was keeping us company. Don’t worry, he stayed on the ground 😊

This place is in a great location right at the water so you can enjoy the pretty views while having drinks and/or food. My friends and I had lunch at a local place and decided to stop for a drink. We couldn't sit in any of the tables closest to the water, but the bar area had seats facing the water. The bartender was super friendly. The drinks (Rum Runners) were tasty and refreshing.

Chicken and shrimp Alfredo was seasoned and tasty. My painkiller drink was strong and delicious. Sunday evening and the place was packed, always a go to restaurant on island with an amazing sea view.

Couldn't recommend run runners enough. I'm particularly picky when it comes to eatery's and this place didn't disappoint! The staff were really friendly and no ask was too big. I ate there for dinner and then under a time crunch of 20 mins in the morning they worked quickly to make sure I got my breakfast before my taxi picked me up! Location is wonderful, right on the waterfront. As such sunglasses are very important so make sure you bring them to avoid the glare from the ocean!

Had the skirt steak per the recommendation the waitress made and it was spot on! Delicious! Really enjoyed our meal and experience here. Would recommend it. They were also kind enough to work us in the night we visited despite being quite busy. We waited but still.

We came on a Monday night in June and the place wasn't crowded at all. It is right on the water so the view is amazing. We had Tia as a server and she was wonderful. I know she has a lot going on but she kept us informed about everything she had to do. I had the ribs with baked beans and mashed potatoes. The ribs were ok. But, you can't expect St. Louis ribs on an island. The baked beans and mashed potatoes were the same. It was on me for ordering American Soul food while over here.

The view is amazing! The drinks were good and strong. The food however was greasy and bland. I would only recommend the drinks and the desert. The calamari had no flavor like they just fried it with no seasoning, and the fish taco was just as bad.

I called a few places about reservations only to be let down. Rum Runners was at the top of my list, and they pulled through. The manager Bob was very kind. He made certain accommodations that made our night! Fabulous food and service! Definitely made our night!

If you all have seen my reviews before 95% of them are positive and hate leaving bad reviews. With that being said I would not wish upon anyone what we went through here. I gave the food 2 stars because the appetizers were good we had wings and conch fritters and thank God for that because the offended party at least was able to eat something! My son and his girlfriend ordered the chicken Alfredo🤢🤮first of all the chicken was rotten I smelt it before it hit the table while the waitress was putting it down on the table at first i thought maybe it's coming from somewhere else a change in wind direction or its the blue cheese on what I ordered. We proceeded to dig in and my son girlfriend would not eat her pasta so I asked her what was wrong she said that her food didn't taste right the pasta was watery and flavorless and the chicken didn't taste right. I took my fork and grab one of the chicken pieces brought it up to my nose and almost threw up. It was the same smell I smelt earlier. I called our waitress over who I feel like should have smelt that something was wrong when she brought it out. If I smelt it before it hit the table she should have smelt it when she was bringing it out. I told her that the chicken was no good and she didn't look surprise. She immediately offered to bring over the manager. My mistake is having her remove the plate before manager came to the table🤦‍♀️ Once the manager arrived and I told him of my concern he proceeded to argue with me about the chicken not being spoiled. I ask him to go find the plate and smell the chicken. He came back and told me that he didn't see anything wrong with it. Was argumentative and to be honest I dont think he ever smelt anything. He just pretended to go back there. It was probably disposed off before he went back there. He then told me he was going to do me a "favor" and comp me the Chicken Alfredo to make me happy.🙄🤷🏽‍♀️ Never apologized. Gee thanks for taking of my bill a rotten meal that was barely touched. Just writing this review I am reminded of what it smelt like. It was gross!

My wife is still talking about the key lime chiffon pie and it’s been over a week since we returned home from St. Croix. They have whiteboards they will put in front of you when you sit down that will list the daily specials. Like everywhere else this place operates on island time and encourages you to slow down. We already ate breakfast two hours earlier and just wanted to chill on the boardwalk so we ordered fries, key lime pie, a lime in the coconut, and a rum runner. The fries were hot, crispy, and salty. The key lime chiffon pie was cold, the filling was creamy and thick, and the drinks were cold and strong. I’d never had a rum runner before and I’m glad I had it here!

Fish and chips are spot on! Generous portions. We tried other appetizers and entrées and everything was delicious.

Ambiance is great, went there just around 9pm and the waiter still served us though the kitchen was closing I 4 minutes which was really appreciated. Food was nice had the shrimp and fries and fish and fries ... looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu

Great on-the-dock experience with great food and great service. Be immersed in the waterfront scene while you enjoy delicious food served was personal care by the staff. Watch as boats dock, and crabs and chickens play nearby. Catch of the Day is always fresh, and you absolutely MUST finish it off with a piece of their signature coconut pecan cheesecake with a Kahlua and Cream, as you watch the sunset.

Fun environment with a surprising menu. I was expecting typical bar fare for the boardwalk, which would have been fine, but we got much more upscale choices. First of all we came in with no reservation and they were able to accommodate our large party so the evening started really well. When we heard the specials we knew we were in for a great meal. We had several apps to share for the table… a couple of orders of fried calamari (the best I’ve had here), and steamed mussels (also the best I’ve had here). For my entree I actually got the appetizer special which was grit cakes with shrimp and this amazing sauce which totally escapes me. It was more than plenty. I should have taken the photo before I dug in but I assure you there were plenty of shrimp and it was beautifully plated. I ordered a salad as well which was quite large and I took most of it home. Several in our party got desserts and they were all very pleased. Go and enjoy!
